Because in real life wealth infrequently'disappears' as it does in Runescape (with people quitting, dieing etc). However, the rate of riches introduced into the game is greater than the wealth taken out so there'll still be inflation. As to the idea of Jagex inputting money into the game, there could be some truth to it.

Obviously the majority of wealth in Runescape comes in accumulated resources (like product drops and raw resources) rather than collected gp. If you consider it, the time it would require you to make 10m in coin drops at Armadyl could easily make you 100m in item drops. For this reason I believe Jagex could buy out items on the Grand Exchange which is very similar to Monetary Economics of real life. In short, if you mean to quit for a couple of years, it would be wise to purchase a rare since it's going to very likely grow in value over that time.

Hi, I am looking at starting to perform barrows but all the research I do doesnt really make alot of sence. What I am looking for is: What other pursuit should do (if any) What new gear should I get? How should I fight the brothers (includding order and tactics) How should I put up my inventory? I'd love to use a max of 2m but if needed I will use another 500k.

Quests: If you're thinking about doing Barrows regularly, In Search of the Myreque will be quite important. Optionally, you could also finish In Aid of the Myreque to get accessibility to Burgh De Rott. Desert Treasure are also useful (for Ice Burst) but is not neccessary. So get seeking the Myreque completed, the other two are optional.

Equiptment: Only from looking at your present equiptment, I will tell you might be short on money. Some general changes you could make are upgrading the Rune/Dragon armour to Barrows armour, specifically Guthans (for set effect) or Torags (for exceptional defence bonuses). It is necessary to have boots/gloves/cape because every bonus counts. I would buy Dragon Boots, or Rune, Rock Climbing, or even Adamant. I would then buy a Regen Brace, a Combat Brace or EVEN Leather Gloves, for the Extra bonus. To get a cape I would strongly recommend an Obsidian Cape, but a God Cape (out of Mage Training Arena), or some other cape will suffice. Personally, I would alter the Dragon Medium Helm into a Helm of Neitiznot, Berserker Helm, or a Dragon Full Helm for extra, more valuable bonuses. Also (this may be the most crucial thing)... Buy an Abbysal Whip... Very costly, but very helpful. If not bring a Dragon Scim, and DDS for spec.
