  • Description

On the whole, from the little I've gotten to encounter so far NBA 2K21 is unsurprisingly fun to play it could be a surprise when it did some thing which ruins a good thing. It is only a shame , up to now, the game modes don't do much to put exciting or interesting new twists on it in contrast to what we saw last year.

Editor's Note: All these impressions are based upon the publicly available demonstration version of NBA 2K21, which allows you to play with five full games, each with five minute quarters. As it is intended to give everyone an notion of what the new variant will offer in its own on-court gameplay, we've asked our reviewer to consider in on the changes he has seen so much as the very first installation of our inspection beforehand. 2K has informed us that review copies for NBA 2K21 will not be available until September 3, that is essentially launch day (officially September 4, but that usually means the night of the previous day in our Pacific time zone). We'll have updated impressions of the full game as soon as you can, and we'll try to get our final review ready by the end of the next week.

The Guru Stick was a staple of 2K basketball for decades now, and for the most part, has largely gone awry since its inception. For NBA 2K21, we watched this as a big chance to freshen up the game on the offensive end. In past games, you can hold the Pro Stick in any direction to take a jump shot. This was limiting us from using the right stick as a fully featured dribble stick. So this year, we're making a fairly substantial change to the way the Pro Stick works.

NBA 2K21 will soon be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch. You'll also have the ability to play it on your PC via Steam. The movie game will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at start when these consoles release.
