Psyonix announced just last week that Rocket’s League’s forthcoming update would feature a ton of new changes. As of today, that update has gone live.Patch v1.53 should be rolling out across all platforms today and by far the biggest new aspect of the update is that of the highly anticipated crossover with Hot Wheels. The Hot Wheels Rivals Arena is now available for play across Casual Playlists and Tournaments in addition to private and offline play.Season 8 has also ended as of today with this new patch which means that Season 9 has now officially kicked off. If you’re looking to get your rewards for Season 8, they should be going out to those who qualified today as well.
