Paris-based social critic reveals when TINUBU, IBB, OBASANJO and JONATHAN will be arrested by BUHARI

PARIS, OCTOBER 31, 2016: (DGW) Paris-based popular social critic, columnist and public commentator on national and global issues has called the attention of the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the subterranean moves by President Muhammadu Buhari to arrest him and other prominent Nigerians if he fails to do his bidding ahead of 2019.

Iyoha John Darlington while speaking to our correspondent in Paris over the weekend in reminder of his earlier claim which eventually came to pass advised the APC National Leader to be wary of President Muhammadu Buhari whose interest is only to use him to ride himself back to power in 2019 presidential election.

Recall we published a piece when he reminded Nigerians that the outburst between Buhari and Aisha was nothing but a political gimmick designed to broker peace with Tinubu for support of the south-west ahead of 2019 which made news headlines around the world over an alleged cabal taking over Buhari's government. Virtually all his predictions about Buhari and those in the corridors of power have all come to pass.

On return from Germany, President Buhari was said to have reached out to Tinubu top aides like Gov Aregbesola and Bisi Akande for intervention in the alleged cold war between him and the most prominent politician in the south-west and by extension the whole of southern Nigeria. This was in return for ministerial slots for Tinubu in the impending cabinet shake-up

Speaking further, the France-based critic , a former NADECO member said danger lies ahead of Mr Tinubu should he refuses the Olive branch being extended by Buhari under the existing circumstances. There is no love lost , he said, between Buhari and Tinubu, adding that the former is only trying to broker peace to enable him get his support to deliver the south-west ahead of 2019 presidential polls.

The Buhari that he knows, he said, will still arrest and prosecute Tinubu on re-election as Nigeria's president in 2019 and many other past and present politicians who have not been touched.

Former military President Ibrahim Babangida, Obasanjo, Jonathan and others will not be spared in the tirade of slander and arrests that is going to sweep across the country but he said this will precipitate a political crisis that will put the nation on the brink, the social critic added.

Sambo Dasuki , he said , is being detained not only for the arms deal procurement funds. He said Buhari is only pursuing a personal vendetta against the former National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki who only carried out the orders of his former boss, Ibrahim Babangida.

His words, '' There is no denying the fact that Asiwaju is the most popular and prominent politician we have today in the whole of southern Nigeria whose support everyone seeks to go to Aso Rock,Jonathan sought his support back in 2011 and he delivered the south-west to him and Buhari lost then.

''Buhari made a U-turn after the historic merger, sought Asiwaju's support and as luck would have it, had south-west delivered to him that eventually gave him a smooth ride to Aso Rock in 2015.

''Without the Asiwaju, the kingmaker of our time, Buhari will lose the 2019 presidential election and should Asiwaju by a twist of fate back out of his peace initiatives, Buhari will turn back like a viper and sting him to death; it is as sure as fate. Their friendship is only borne out of Tinubu's strong-hold on the south-west.'', he said.

On the former military president, the critic said President Muhammadu Buhari has not forgiven former President Ibrahim Babangida. He said the former is only postponing the evil day until his final lap in office. Babangida, he said, would be arrested by Buhari eventually because of the concealed grudges over the August 27. 1985 coup that removed him from power.

He said, ''President Buhari is only postponing the evil day for ex-President Ibrahim Babangida. He has no forgiveness in his heart going by his recent utterances, actions and comments. IBB will be swooped down upon eventually when Buhari is re-elected. Nigerians will see fire on Buhari last lap in power. The duo of Obasanjo and Jonathan would be eventually be arrested and sent to prison and this will take place immediately he is sworn in for a second term.''

Buhari, he said, after his dethronement was detained for about three years in Benin City, Nigeria before he was released by the IBB military junta and this is what IBB will suffer when Buhari is re-elected. Dasuki, he added, will not be released now and might suffer a long custodial time in detention to revenge the time he spent after he was deposed in 1985.

He added that his decision not to arrest the former military president is not to stir up strife in the north because if he does that the region whose support he presently enjoys at the moment would be divided and this will affect his chances in 2019 presidential election.

The alleged ''sins'' - the dogs and baboons will be soaked in blood'' - of Obasanjo and Jonathan against him , he said , would not be forgotten in a hurry. Obasanjo backing Jonathan to install him as president is still very fresh in Buhari's heart and he will revenge soon after he is re-elected in 2019.
