*Now, even Osinbajo will be regretting why he commented negatively about Biafra: My message to him has gone far and wide.* *We must continue to be resilient*

Biafra: Man blasts Osinbajo, says there is nothing good about unity in diversity

- Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been attacked over his comments on Nigeria

- Osinbajo has said that the greatness of this country lies first in its diversity

- But Biafra writers in its reply said that Nigeria was not destined to exist as entity

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been criticized over his comment that the greatness of the Nigeria lies first in its diversity and then in the size of the country.

In a message sent to NAIJ.com, a Facebook, Chukwuemeka Chimerue said that Osinbajo should have understood that that the ethnic, religious and regional diversity of Nigeria has been the greatest bane of disunity and division threatening the co-existence of the nations that constitute Nigeria.

He said: “It is with utter disgust and disbelief that we read about the statement credited to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, in which he stated that “the greatness of this country (Nigeria) lies first in its diversity and then in the size of the country.”

“Unfortunately, Osinbajo forgot to acknowledge that the ethnic, religious and regional diversity of Nigeria has been the greatest bane of disunity and division threatening the co-existence of the nations that constitute Nigeria. A situation whereby we have lived together for 100 years and above and still preach for unity and/or national cohesion is an indication that the Nigeria is not destined to exit as an entity.

“The forced unity of the geographical expression called Nigeria is the reason Nigerian political class and elites will stash away public funds in the national treasury and invest it in Western countries to the detriment of the citizens they swore to govern.

“Since its creation, Nigeria is yet to attain a state of nationhood where the interest of the country will be placed above all the personal interests and ambitions of some few cabals in the government. A country where some instruments are being skewed to the advantage of some regions cannot be preaching about unity and national cohesion.

“For some countries of the world, their diversity may become their strength but the reverse is the case in the entity Nigeria whereby its diversity has become a curse and a thing of worry to its citizen. It has become apparent that people of diverse cultures, beliefs and traditions, cannot cohabit together especially when their individual interests are not aligned. This calls for division so as to achieve the diverse purpose of the human existence.

“Again, Osinbajo averred that “it is better to be a part of a great thing than to be one tiny part of something that is not necessarily great.” We wonder which of the constituent nation he is referring of not been necessarily great but we all know that judging from the things we have seen and the ones we have known, Biafra is far beyond a great country capable of providing succour to not only its citizens but the whole of Africa.

“We acknowledge the fact that Nigeria has a massive political landscape but still massive development has continued to elude Nigeria since its creation. Its large expanse has not in any way, provided the common citizens with the opportunity of attaining the peak of success in life compared to other nations like Japan, Dubai and South Korea where massive development has been experienced all over in spite of having a small landscape.

“We want to put it to Osinbajo that the landscape of a country does not necessarily guarantee its greatness but the unity of purpose, human resources, national interest, determination and hardworking of which has eluded Nigeria since its establishment.

“The breach of agreements and the deliberate scheming against a particular geo-political region by successive governments coupled with her insincerity has even helped to exacerbate the issue and provided the ground for separation.

“Finally, we wish to remind Osinbajo once more that the Biafra agitators are not trying to secede from the British contraption known as Nigeria, but trying to restore a nation that has been in existence for many years before the amalgamation of Nigeria is being conceived.

“Even a toddler knows that there is nothing good or special in the unity of the British creation, Nigeria for it has caused us more sorrow, hardship, deaths, misery and agony and that is why we won’t relent in our efforts to ensure that Biafra’s sovereignty is being restored. Nigeria as a chain of bondage must be broken.”

Hypocrisy is a Nigerian, I swear it!

By Charles Ogbu.

For the past few days, the streets of Zuckerville have been suffering violence, verbal violence. It was as though the 3rd world war is happening here on facebook. The Adolf Hitler of this war is one Immanuel Ifediata, a young man full of intelligence but devoid of wisdom. He said something that convinced many people, not excluding yours sincerely, that leaving young girls under his care is not a wise thing. As I type this, efforts are on top gear to push him back to the labour market by prevailing on the authorities of the school where he teach to sack him.

Mind you, he did nothing that we are aware of. He only made a post that created the impression that he is a danger to young girl students, considering his position as a teacher.

Now,

Take a very good look at this screenshot.

That is Amanda Chisom, a woman. She admitted having knowledge of the brutal rape of an 11yr old girl by a 47yr old man. Amanda equally know the identity of a man who took both the rapist, his 11yr old victim and the parents and brothers of the victim to a bar where he paid them the sum of 15k to shut them up and stop them from reporting a serious crime such as rape to the law enforcement. Amanda had to wait to be cajoled and threatened by Euphemia Udanoh before promising to get Welfare People involved. Right about now, she is insisted she must be allowed to handle a grave crime such as rape by herself and daring those asking her to report the case to the police to take her to court.

Rape is a serious crime, not just against the victim but against the state. In societies where law holds any meaning, both the rapist, the **** who think he can 'settle' a rape case with 15k as well as Amanda Chisom who is more interested in protecting the identity of a rapist than she is in ensuring that the 11yr old innocent rape victim is gifted with justice, will all be in jail by now. But this is Nigeria. And as we all know, Nigeria is a walking disaster.

The tragedy of this situation is that I've seen thesame people who called for the head of Immanuel Ifediata reprimanding Euphemia Udanoh for publicly asking why Amanda who had no qualms naming and shaming as well as displaying the phone number of a lady purported to be a 'side-chick' should now have issues revealing the identity of a rapist who sexually abused an 11yr old girl even to the police.

If we all agree that Immanuel Ifediata is a potential paedophile and should loose his job over that post of his, what then should we say about Amanda Chisom who knew that an 11yr old girl was raped by a 47yr old man but has refused to either name and shame the he-goat or gift the police with info regarding this case to enable Nigerians monitor the case and ensure justice for the girl???

Why should a lady who calls herself a feminist even wait to be cajoled and threatened before promising (just mere promise) to involve Welfare board, not even the police in a case of the brutal rape of an 11yr old girl by a 47yr old man???

And why should you who call yourself a feminist express outrage at immanuel's post while turning a blind eye to Amanda's even when the latter involve a very serious crime of rape of a minor???

If we call for the head of Immanuel but maintain sealed lips over Amanda who it would seem, is codedly helping a rapist escape justice, what does that make us??

Is our activism now about who is involved?

Since last Saturday, most people I know have conveniently avoided this rape case simply because they value their friendship with Amanda over and above their so called love for the girl child and the need to keep girl children from harms way.

You hate rape and love girl children only when it suits you, right??

What sort of criminal hypocrisy is that???

The internet will always remember how you all turned a blind eye to the rape of an 11yr old just so you could maintain your friendship with a certain Amanda Chisom.

Certainly, Charles Ogbu will be here to always remind you how morally bankrupt and moronically hypocritical you are when next I hear you shout 'feminism' or regale us with tale of your undying love for the girl child.

If you condemn evil only when it is done by your enemy but turn a blind eye when the perpetrator is your friend, you are evil, yourself.

No one can make a private bargain with history.
