DONALD TRUMP JUST DECLARE BAN ON SHARIA LAW. DO YOU SUPPORT THIS?

DONALD TRUMP JUST DECLARE BAN ON SHARIA LAW.

There’s been so much debate over Donald Trump’s statement that the U.S. should ban all Muslims attempting to enter the country. We are going to look at one major question: is it lawful?

This is a Reality Check you won’t see anywhere else.

“Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on.”

That’s a statement from Trump explaining his plan to prevent terror attacks on U.S. soil—ban all Muslims from entering the country. This plan has been met with a lot of support from some, and condemned by others.

“Do you know how to make America great again? Tell Donald Trump to go to hell,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) told CNN.

“We do not discriminate on people based on religion…,” Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson recently stated. “…never want to do that… have to be responsible… want to be Americans.”

What Carson said there about not discriminating against people’s religion being part of the constitution, well, that is true for U.S. citizens. But that’s not what Trump said. He is talking about immigrants or people visiting from other countries. So citing freedom of religion doesn’t apply here.

Still, the White House spokesman says this statement disqualifies Trump from the presidency.

“What Donald Trump said yesterday, disqualifies him from serving as president,” said Josh Earnest, press secretary for the White House.

Trump Loses Control & Viciously Attacks The Pope – Entire World Outraged
By Carissa House-Dunphy -
January 29, 2017

The new president of the United States has never been happy with the pope’s criticism of his anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim agenda.

Pope Francis delivered a statement on Saturday condemning Americans who profess to be Christians like Donald Trump when their actions are anything but Christ-like.

‘The sickness or, you can say the sin, that Jesus condemns most is hypocrisy, which is precisely what is happening when someone claims to be a Christian but does not live according to the teaching of Christ. You cannot be a Christian without living like a Christian […] It’s hypocrisy to call yourself a Christian and chase away a refugee or someone seeking help, someone who is hungry or thirsty, toss out someone who is in need of my help.’

Trump made a statement at a press conference after completing a rally in South Carolina when the pope criticized him once before. Trump had a scathing retort ready for the head of the Catholic church while on the campaign trail, and Trump insisted that the pope was being used as a pawn by Mexico, where he had recently visited.

‘No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith […] They are using the pope as a pawn and they should be ashamed of themselves for doing so, especially when so many lives are involved and when illegal immigration is so rampant […] For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian.’

Donald Trump, a man who openly cheated on at least his first two wives, has embodied the very worst form of capitalistic greed, bragged about grabbing women’s genitals, begged a former girlfriend to terminate an out-of-wedlock pregnancy, made jokes about 18-year-old Lindsay Lohan by saying that “deeply troubled women” are “always the best in bed,” mocked a disabled reporter and said his sexual assault accuser was not attractive enough to be worth his assaults tried to school the pope on Christianity.

Priest tells anti-Trump protesters to commit suicide

The pastor of a largely immigrant Catholic church in Queens has a suggestion for his anti-Trump parishioners: Go take a flying leap off the nearest building.

“Show your hate for Trump. Do it for social justice. #JumpAgainstTrump,” read a meme posted by the Rev. Philip Pizzo just hours after he celebrated Sunday Mass.

The message included an illustration of a man plummeting from a skyscraper.

The conservative priest, who oversees St. Benedict Joseph Labre Roman Catholic Church in Richmond Hill, previously posted a photo of President Obama with the words “He’s not my president’’ and another snapshot of Hillary Clinton titled “Ugly Face’’ in Italian along with “Happy Halloween.’’
Facebook

Pizzo, 67, told The Post on Monday that he just thought the “Jump Against Trump’’ meme was “funny.”

“I do not promote suicide,’’ Pizzo insisted. “I’ve helped many people over the years, and it does not promote suicide. It was funny.”

But some parishioners were outraged.

“Suicide is not funny, plain and simple,” said Carlos Coburn, a congregant who once sought counseling from Pizzo because he was struggling with thoughts about killing himself.

Coburn said he has attended the church for 20 years but will start worshiping elsewhere, given the controversial posting.

“It’s disturbing for someone in my situation,’’ Coburn said. “I know this man, he baptized me, and I don’t want to go back to his church.”

Another parishioner said Pizzo “normally posts about supporting Trump, but this was just taking it too far.’’

Alex Leston, who attended services at St. Benedict until three years ago — when Pizzo axed funding for a youth program he worked on — said he too was “appalled” by the meme.

The priest’s social-media politicking is particularly troubling given the area’s large Hispanic immigrant population, according to Leston, who feels that the tone-deaf post shows how disconnected Pizzo is from his parishioners.

“The parish he is supposed to be serving is mainly Latin American and Caribbean,” he said. “It’s not a good look for him.”

A rep for the Diocese of Brooklyn said the post does not reflect the church’s stance and has been removed.

“Father Pizzo did share the meme in question on his personal Facebook page,” said diocese spokesman Vito Formica.

“He says he intended it as satire only, regrets the offense it has caused and has deleted it. This post does not, in any way, represent the view of the church.”

On the day of President Trump’s inauguration, Pope Francis urged the new leader of the free world to uphold “the advancement of human dignity.”

“At a time when our human family is beset by grave humanitarian crises demanding far-sighted and united political responses, I pray that our decisions will be guided by the rich spiritual and ethical values that have shaped the history of the American people,’’ the pontiff said.

President Buhari's 2017 budget made provisions for empowerment schemes

The government started by disbursing loans to 23,400 beneficiaries in 13 states in the country in an annoucement made on Monday, January 30.

According to The Authority, none of the beneficiaries came from any of the five states in the South-east geopolitical zone.

According to the report, this is not the first time the region is missing in the development and economic packages unveiled by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

When the government unveiled a $29.96 billion foreign loan for the provision of infrastructure across the country, none of the projects to be executed with the loan was located in the region.

Similarly, when the government recently paid N5,000 monthly stipends to some poor Nigerians under its Social Intervention Scheme, all the states in the South-east were excluded.

The current loans are being disbursed through the Federal Government’s Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP).

The Presidency, which announced this on Monday, listed the benefitting states as Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Ekiti, Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Lagos, Osun and Ogun. Others are Oyo, Ondo, Rivers and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

No reason was given for the omission of states in the South-east from the scheme.

Meanwhile, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has said nobody from the south-eastern part of Nigeria can become the president the country without the support of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Okorocha urged Igbos to support President Buhari for eight years saying it was time for Ndi-Igbo to come and work together.

Washington D.C.

Terror suspect, Rasheed Muhammad, was arrested on Tuesday, January 31, at approximately 1:32AM EST at John F. Kennedy International Airport. This marks the first successful story following President Trump’s executive order to protect the nation from foreign terrorist entry into the United States. Muhammad, 32, was questioned due to the heightened security measures that resulted from the presidential executive order. The suspect attempted to enter the country with a tourist visa and claimed to be visiting family in order to attend this year’s Super Bowl LI.

Former Attorney General, Sally Yates, who was ousted by President Trump after failing to support the executive order, released a public apology via popular social media app, Snapchat.

“I would like to express a sincere and utter apology to President Donald J. Trump. Due to unforeseen circumstances, there is no way I could have predicted the outcome of the situation. If afforded the opportunity to continue my position as Attorney General, I would be more than ecstatic to comply.”

Officials are waiting to release an official press statement. FBI Director, James Comey, commented “We are unsure if accomplices are still at large. Until matters are addressed, we will keep additional details from the public eye. The security of our nation is the number one priority.”

The terror suspect is currently detained by local authorities and requested a public defender. The White House Press Secretary declined comment until after the release of an official press statement.

UK Govt Speaks on Nigeria’s 1914 Amalgamation

As the clamor for the restructuring of Nigeria heats up, the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright, has said that the United Kingdom is in support of a united, peace and prosperous Nigeria.

Arkwright, who spoke in an interview on Thursday, said that it was too late for Nigerians to continue to blame the underdevelopment of Nigeria on the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914, pointing out that a lot had taken place since the country attained independence in 1960.

Arkwright said, “1914 is a rather long time ago and it’s a bit too convenient to blame the British for anything that happened over a hundred years ago. Nigeria has been independent since 1960, Nigeria is a proud and rightly independent sovereign country, so whatever happened in the past is not worth raking over, or blaming one side or another. “There are different sides obviously to what you talked about in 1914. But I would say the UK recognizes a unified Nigeria.

image: http://igberetvnews.com/wp-con....tent/uploads/2017/01

There is a federal government, there is a constitution; it’s important that all elements of society work toward strengthening the constitution and strengthening the unity of Nigeria. “So I do know that there have been constitutional debates. I do know that there are various proposals for restructuring of Nigeria. I think that’s a healthy debate. It is a political debate and it is one that should continue.

The British government does not take a particular position on that other than to say we are strongly supportive of a united Nigeria. The High Commissioner lauded the Nigerian Government for opening direct talks with Niger Delta communities with a view to ending the lingering political crisis in the region and paving the way for oil production. According to him, there could be no military solution to the Niger Delta crisis even though he condemned the continued sabotaging of oil facilities be armed groups the region and called for an end to such criminality. On the bombing of an IDP camp by the Nigerian Air Force early this week, the envoy said that it must have been borne out of a tragic error since the force is working to repel the Book Harem insurgents from the people.

He said, “I’m absolutely certain that it was not deliberate. What is important here is in the short term, doing the best for those who have been injured, the families of those who have been bereaved, and I know that the federal government and the state government and indeed international NGOs are working very hard to help the wounded to make sure they get proper medical treatment, and to take the necessary actions there. “That’s in the short term.

I think what is also necessary is a thorough investigation by the Nigerian Air force or the Nigerian military to determine exactly what happened because clearly it was a mistake. Mistakes can recur but what is really important is that the right actions are taken to avoid such mistakes happening again. And until that investigation happens, I don’t think it’s appropriate to speculate on what happened or whether people had imagery or whether they knew that these were Book Harem terrorists or civilians. “Let’s not forget the reason why the Air force are up there is because of the actions of the Boko Haram terrorists and I strongly condemn the Book Harem terrorists and what they are doing up there. They have disrupted, even destroyed a whole society and that is completely unacceptable.
So obviously the UK is strongly supporting the federal government in its efforts to push back and eventually indeed defeat Book Harem. The High Commissioner disclosed that UK supported the humanitarian effort in the North East to the tune of £80 million in 2016 and was still committed to doing more to assist in the area. The Department for International Development from the UK is very actively engaged in the northeast. This is partly through humanitarian assistance. Last year 2016 we gave around £80 million for that effort.

Back in September there was an announcement by our minister that we were giving an additional £50 to the Lake Chad region, including obviously the northeast of Nigeria. But you are right; this is a very serious crisis. There was a UN appeal just before the end of the year for $1 billion. The UK has done more than many to provide the UN with the necessary funding and we continue to look at what more we can do. But this is an international global effort involving the federal government, the state government and all the various state institutions, and it’s important that we get this right.

First of all by ensuring that hunger and poverty are ameliorated in the North east. Obviously the security situation needs to be resolved for good, and make sure that it’s not all about food. It’s about health, it’s about education. And some of those longer term development questions are also areas in which our Department for International Development is engaged. The UK is very present and very prominent in the north east and will continue to be so.

Okpodike Ndudi C. says:

Arkwright have constitutional right to express himself,so he is entitled to his opinion. But he is just one man with single opinion which does not represent the wishes/opinions of millions of masses in Nigeria. As for British government,a fly can claim to love the wound it visits.Whether They like it or not,the people living in the geographical area called Nigeria today stand the best chance to decide their faith in the union the are arbitrarily forced into by the same British government. And the double standard of British government is a thing of great concern and must be resisted with every amount of courage and force. Why is it that the agitation for exit of Britain from EU by some British citizens is considered a right and was permitted to put to vote by British government?but the agitation by some Nigerians for Biafra to exit from Nigeria is considered a heinous crime, condemnable and punishable by the same British government?.

Osinbajo Blasts Judges for unlawful detention of Nnamdi Kanu, others
Osinbajo Blasts Judges for unlawful detention of Nnamdi Kanu, others

A slight drama played out yesterday at the two-day Stakeholders’ Summit organized by the Lagos State Ministry of Justice.

The event which held at the Eko Convention Center attracted lots of dignitaries.

During the summit, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo accused the Nigerian Police Force and judges for unlawful detention of suspects.

Osinbajo said keeping suspects in prison custody longer than is legally permissible without trial is wrong.

He queried why judges and security operatives refused to release those granted bail by constituted courts.

The Vice President said others are kept in prison custody for as long as 3 years without being charged to court.

The situation, he explained, has left over 47,000 suspects still awaiting trial in prisons across the country.

“As at 2017, we have 47,229 ‘unsentenced’ detainees awaiting trial out of a total prison population of 67,586.

“It may interest you to know that Lagos State has the highest number of unsentenced detainees in Nigeria.

“We agree that these problems are against our collective interests as practitioners and stakeholders.

“We must make a firm commitment to tackle the problems by changing our attitude and standing up for what is right,” he said.

The Vice President also accused some judges of sitting for less than three and half hours.

“They will not sit on time and before 3:30 pm, they would rise. Such behavior from judges must stop” he said.

Osinbajo’s call for the release of unlawfully detained prisoners is in sharp contrast to how the President sees it.

There have been high-profile political detainees who, according to Osinbajo, ought to have been released but is still kept behind bars.

Prominent among these include Col. Dasuki Sambo, Nnamdi Kanu, Shiekh El Zakzaky, and many others.

With Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu under increased investigations and the new Trump administration showing flexibility in terms of potential Israeli sovereignty in areas of Judea and Samaria, Naftali Bennett is stepping up his push to end the two state solution as we understand it.

Bennett spoke at the Institute for National Security Studies [INSS] today and forcibly gave across his views of the changing times we live in.

‏”‏First point, a Palestine exists [referring to Hamas in Gaza]. ‏Granted, it’s a terror state. It terrorizes its own population and attacks Israeli schools and hospitals using rockets and attack tunnels. ‏This leads to the second point: Apply Israeli law in Area C, the Israeli controlled areas. We will not annex the land, because one can only annex something foreign. ‏This is the Land of Israel, to which Jews have been connected for thousands of years. ‏It is where 450,000 Israelis live.”

[watch] Obama Took $221m of US Taxpayer Money and Gave it to a Terror Organization Before Leaving Office

It has been revealed that Obama took one last parting shot at Israel and the US Congress before leaving office by transferring $221m to the Palestinian Authority the US Congress was blocking.

Ari Lieberman writing in FrontPageMag wrote the following about where the money is going to go:

“Just as alarmingly, a whopping 10% of the PA’s budget goes to pay the salaries of convicted terrorists or is allocated to families of deceased terrorists, killed in “martyrdom operations,” the Palestinian euphemism for bloody terrorist carnage. Thus, the family of the terrorist who stabbed US Army veteran Taylor Force to death while he was touring Jaffa receives a stipend from the PA. Similarly, the family of the beast who broke into the house of Hallel Yaffa Ariel and butchered the 13-year-old while she was sound asleep in her bed also receives a portion of Obama’s taxpayer-funded aid money.”

Obama has proven time and again, that his allegiances as President was to his far left and radical Islamic supporting ideologies and not to what is best for America or her allies.
