The mouth pieces are still lacking, I saw screen shots of them and they were all wearing the exact same white ones and other players weren't. There wasn't anything in this that I do not think could happen to be done by present gen. Nah you're right. They deserve the criticism after years of bad work. Too much memory space is required though! Another year of owning a lifeless sideline. There's no justification besides laziness. Before they could blame it on computer screen limitations but maybe not anymore.

They really understand how to catch that realistic playoff atmosphere. I think this. I know that it's probably dumb to most to be large on immersion but immersion is still a huge key for me. To observe how 2k took steps to bring the seat, courtside, and reduced bowl of a stadium to life and compare it to the dead madden sidelines? I simply don't get it. I do not even think referees come back in there. They are not making massive improvements year over year. The only shred of hope individuals had was"maybe they are saving funds to create next gen as good as possible" but it seems like they added nothing lol. 2k8 had interactable sidelines that were believable af. Meanwhile at the year 2020, the sideline does the exact same dumbass jumping animation when another team has a favorable drama.

The preview I read was touting the sidelines as much enhanced. I read that too but in the trailer which premiered this afternoon, it looks dead. I'm beyond the point of committing Madden the benefit of the doubt. It is not laziness, it's greed. Rather than EA correctly investing the resources required for Madden to be an authentic great game, they opt to line their pockets. I would like a good football game to playwith, but there's ZERO ****ing chance that I buy a soccer game of the caliber that Madden was for the last few decades. Bc a dead sideline is what is important!! Not gameplay!

Why make excuses for the developers? Does PC get the Next Gen update? I believe its dumb too lol but this is my origin on it. Feels like something EA would perform. Surely they will clarify it somewhere soon. They did the exact same for FIFA 14 at 2013. The next-gen variant (to be fair, it was better for a number of reasons) was only available on PS4 and Xbox One. PC did did not see parity until the following calendar year.
