On the WoW subreddit, players have also found ways to bring the zombie infestation out capital cities, making whole areas of Azeroth uninhabitable. Fortunately, WoW sport designer Jeremy Feasel affirmed the zombie invasion part of the event will only be active for a couple of hours throughout the day rather than all the time.

I am actually a bit disappointed with that, honestly, because I think it would be interesting to see an all-out, 24/7 invasion which gamers have to attempt to contain--something similar to World of Warcraft's notorious Corrupted Blood incident.

Players can also venture into the frigid wastes of Northrend to fight bosses and make powerful loot, and there is also a new story quest to test . Otherwise, you can wait until the event inevitably launches sometime in the forthcoming months. But now that it is about the PTR, it'll likely be happening sooner rather than later.

Since publishing our initial story, YouTuber and Reddit user'KokushiGG' has posted a brand new video displaying Ray Traced Shadows from the new zones in the growth. You'll find down the video below. Like yesterday's screenshots, we may see the difference in Shadows is rather minimal with the newest feature enabled. Allowing Ray Traced Shadows, however, does appear to greatly affect performance with FPS dropping from 120FPS to 60FPS in some instances.

Ray Traced Shadows in World of Warcraft Shadowlands have now been allowed on the match's Beta/PTR, and also the very first comparison shots have now surfaced online. Back in April of the year, Blizzard additional Ray Traced Shadow alternatives to the match's Alpha. Unfortunately, actual Ray Traced Shadows weren't enabled just yet and people in the Alpha were only able to observe the new options. According to the alternative's description, it"improves shadow quality with ray tracing, which generates shadows with much more natural softness, greatly improved precision, and from additional light sources".
