Niger Delta Avengers has severely warned ExxonMobil Oil Company not to carry out repair works on the 48" Que Iboe crude oil export pipeline blown up by their professional strike team or risk losing the life of their workers in the process.

In a Press statement signed by its Spokesperson Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, the Niger Delta guerilla warlords lambasted ExxonMobil for earlier deceiving members of the public by claiming that none of its pipelines were blown up- a position they later retracted after their system detected abnormalities in the Que Iboe 48-inches export pipeline which the Niger Delta activists claimed to have blown up last week.

"When we published the Que Iboe 48-inches crude oil export line was blown up by us (Niger Delta Avengers) ExxonMobil denied it, but now ExxonMobil has admitted that the 48-inches pipeline we (Niger Delta Avengers) blow up is 'System Anomaly.'

"We urging them to follow the part of safety by admitting it was blown but them(ExxonMobil) not admitting it to their traders/ international refineries is none of our business. It will become our business when they carry out repair work on the blown pipeline. When that time comes, it won't be ExxonMobil declaring false Majeure but its going to be something worse.

"ExxonMobil and Akwa Ibom government can continue to deny that Niger Delta Avengers is not in Akwa Ibom state, but we want them to know that one of our elite strike team is from Akwa Ibom state.

"We are warning ExxonMobil not to carry out any repair work on the blown pipeline, if they refuse and go ahead with any repair work something big and worse will happen" the Activists declared.

Going further, the ND Avengers warned the traders and international refineries associating with ExxonMobil to beware of their deceitful antics on the repair period of the blown pipeline, as the level of damage on the pipeline will take months to repair.

They however warned all international Oil Companies in the region to learn from the predicament of Shell Petroleum Development Company whose Forcados export pipeline was reblown after a repair work was carried out following a preliminary attack on the pipeline. The activists warned the Oil Companies that unless the government meets their already laid down demands, all pipelines affected by their protest must remain untouched, as any disobedience will force them into shifting their attacks from the pipelines to their workers-

"To the traders/international refineries doing business with them, don't let ExxonMobil deceive you that the repair works will take three or four weeks, with the level of damage it will take them months to fix it.

"What happened to Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) crude oil export pipeline in Forcados is an example to all International Oil Companies, no repair works until the federal government heeds to our demands.

"If ExxonMobil fail to listen to us(Niger Delta Avengers), your personnel will be our next casualties not pipelines." the Avengers stated.

The Niger Delta Avengers among other things are demanding for dissolution of Nigeria as well the Release of the Biafran leader Nnamdi Kanu, who has been incarcerated by the Nigerian government since October 2015.
