People generally understand the last 6 of the 10 commandments or at least understand most.
Honor your father and your mother and the things
NOT TO DO: Murder, commit adultery (fornication = sex outside marriage between a man and a woman), steal, bare false witness, not desire or take your neighbour’s (fellow man’s) wife or possessions.
But the 1st 4 of the 10 Commandments are
misunderstood by most people.
