Pathway health outreach, is an outreach established in all
west African countries to embark on the war against killer and chronic
diseases before year 2045 is recruiting new staff (health
facilitators), for its south eastern Nigerian branch owerri.
Functions
1. To teach people about behaviors that promotes wellness.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the health of
individuals
and communities.
3. Collect data and discuss health concept
4.Establishing a relationship of trust and respect with clients;
Agreeing a counselling contract to determine what will be covered in
sessions (including confidentiality issues)
5.Encouraging patient to talk about issues they feel they cannot
normally and
share with others
6.Actively listening to client concerns and empathising with their
position;
accepting without bias the issues raised by clients;
Helping clients towards a deeper understanding of their concerns;
Challenging any inconsistencies in what clients say or do;
Helping clients to make decisions and choices regarding possible ways
forward;
Referring clients to other sources of help, as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS
interested Graduates from a reputable higher institution
of learning, with a minimum
qualification of: OND,NCE,Bsc, HND, MSc, and
MBA. which would be an added
advantage are eligible to apply.
