I love Biafra

The US group saw Buhari’s donation as an appreciation or a pay back to the Obama’s government that frustrated Nigerian government under Goodluck Jonathan in all front and used threats and intimidation to kick scare Jonathan out of office.

They added that Mr. Kerry’s frequent visit to Northern Nigerian may not be unconnected to the process to release the funds, as Buhari later quickly mobilized some Northern elders and his party governors of Northern inner circle, helped to facilitate a quick and secret ferrying of the money with secured Presidential Fiat.

The defeat of Hillary Clinton was received as a great shock by the Nigerian government, that was help to power by the polices of Mrs. Clinton as secretary of state and the $500m donation is now a failed project that may be investigated by the Trump government.....CLICK AND READ MORE HERE http://www.thebiafraherald.co/....2016/11/buharis-500m

Obama, Clinton, and Sanders Could Stop the Riots But They Just Watch
TOPICS:Civil Unrest by Daisy LutherElection

November 13, 2016

Is it just me or have you also noticed that Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and President Obama have been silent about the protests?

The very people who have the power to stop these protests and riots with just a few well-spoken words have been completely silent on the issue.
Hillary Clinton

During her concession speech, Clinton said, “We must accept this result, and then look to the future. … Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead.”

After that, she has been mum on the entire thing.

Hillary Clinton could have asked her followers to stop this nonsense, and they probably would have listened out of respect for her. (Misplaced respect but that’s a whole different article.) Instead, her silence makes me think that she is hidden away, relishing the chaos. That she has done nothing to attempt to calm the situation underlines the fact that she was not fit to govern. A leader would look out for the best interests of a country they love, rather than watching from afar to apply balm to her wounded ego.

Instead, her Twitter is full of Bible quotes (huh?) and mentions nary a word about the protests. It has not been updated since the day after her failed bid.
Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders, the one from whom the Democratic primary was fraudulently stolen, the one who backed up Hillary Clinton anyway, has also been uncharacteristically silent, especially for an aging peace-and-love hippie kind of guy.

He hasn’t once asked the protesters to be peaceful or to give Trump a chance, but he has fueled the fire with his cries for them to remain vigilant. He’s already opposing Trump before the guy even gets inaugurated.

Even in his essay for the NY Times yesterday, entitled “Where Do Democrats Go From Here?” he did not gently suggest to his supporters that they turn toward peace. He had the opportunity, the platform, and the love from his followers, and his choice to remain silent tells me that he is just as self-serving as the other politicians, despite his humble, grandfatherly demeanor.
President Obama

Then there’s the President, who met cordially with Trump. His Twitter account is likewise mute on the subject of vandalism, arson, and violence in reaction to the election.

Note to President Obama: I didn’t like it when you were elected either, but I burned neither flags nor effigies. I peacefully dissented throughout your administration but never damaged one single item of property. You screwed the middle class with your horrible health care catastrophe, and yet no one rioted in the streets when you were re-elected to screw us for another four years.

Obama’s only statement of semi-support was on Wednesday, when he said, ““The peaceful transfer of power is one of the hallmarks of our democracy. We’re actually all on the same team.”

His statement about the riots was via his press secretary.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest, asked Thursday about the protests, said the president believes the right to free speech should be protected.

He added, “It is a right that should be exercised without violence. And there are people who are disappointed in the outcome. And the president’s message in the Rose Garden was it’s not surprising that people are disappointed in the outcome, but it’s important for us to remember, a day or two after the election, that we’re Democrats and Republicans, but we’re Americans and patriots first.”

This won’t end well.

Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s campaign manager, sees it the same way. She has called on Obama and Clinton to address the violence, but thus far, her request seems to have fallen on willfully deaf ears.

Not accepting the result and keeping up the protests will lead to nowhere except more trouble as the contagion of anger spreads. It is only a matter of time before it really gets out of hand and people start dying.

Since protesters are now actually calling for war and death, if Obama, Clinton, and Sanders really loved America, these three would use their influence to ease the transition and call for peace. Instead, one must wonder if the rumors about a Soros-funded, Clinton-approved Purple Revolution to destabilize America are about to become our new reality.

Oh – and one quick note. It has to be said.

The people calling for war and death are overwhelmingly anti-gun.

They just might want to rethink the wisdom of directing their death threats, physical attacks, and aggression toward Second Amendment proponents.

Kellyanne Conway: It’s up to Clinton, Obama to calm anti-Trump protesters

Kellyanne Conway, Donald Trump's former campaign manager, said it is incumbent upon Hillary Clinton, President Obama and other Democratic leaders to calm their supporters and encourage a peaceful transition of power amid anti-Trump demonstrations that have swept U.S. cities since Election Day.

Trump is “there for them. And he is going to be a president that listens and takes the counsel of many different people, including those from the other side of the aisle,” Conway told Chuck Todd on NBC's “Meet the Press” on Sunday. " . . . It's time really for President Obama and Secretary Clinton to say to these protesters, 'This man is our president.'”

Both Clinton and Obama made speeches urging exactly that last week. In her concession speech to Trump, Clinton said, “We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead.”

In a similar vein, Obama met with Trump at the White House on Thursday and has said that his priority is to ensure a smooth transition so that Trump's presidency is successful.

Conway on Sunday also accused Senate Minority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) of “acting like some garden-variety political pundit” and “egging people on” to protest Trump's coming presidency.

Speaking to host Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday,” Conway also suggested that professional, paid protesters were behind the anti-Trump demonstrations across the country.

Wallace had asked Conway what Trump would do to reach out to those scared of what his presidency would bring, then read a portion of a statement Reid issued Friday charging Trump with assuaging the fears that he said the Republican's campaign had stoked.

“If this is going to be a time of healing, we must first put the responsibility for healing where it belongs: at the feet of Donald Trump, a sexual predator who lost the popular vote and fueled his campaign with bigotry and hate,” Reid's statement read in part. “Winning the electoral college does not absolve Trump of the grave sins he committed against millions of Americans. Donald Trump may not possess the capacity to assuage those fears, but he owes it to this nation to try.”

Conway cited Trump's victory speech as evidence that he was “off to a great start” in unifying the country, then turned her anger on Reid.

“Talk about not wanting my children to listen to somebody,” Conway said. “I’m calling for responsibility and maturity and decency. I hope President Obama calls Harry M. Reid today and says, 'Cut it out.'”

Conway also told Wallace that the Trump administration still would be one “for the forgotten man and the forgotten woman” — despite his transition-team picks being filled with Washington insiders.

Throughout his campaign, Trump played up his lack of political experience as a positive trait, saying he was an outsider who would “drain the swamp” of D.C. politics. His transition team now includes former federal bureaucrats, think-tank academics, corporate lawyers and special-interest lobbyists.

“These are people who are talented and who have done this before,” Conway told host Chris Wallace, defending Trump's transition-team choices. “You can’t just appoint novices. You have to have people who know what they’re doing.”

Conway had previously said Trump's pick for White House chief of staff was “imminent.” It is widely expected that Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and Trump campaign chief executive Steve Bannon are on the shortlist for that position, and Trump's choice could signal the direction of his presidency.

Conway told Wallace that both men would have “very important roles” in the administration.

“We couldn’t have done it without Preibus or Bannon,” she said, referring to winning the election.

On the issue of Obamacare, Conway said that she didn't know whether Trump would amend portions of the health-care law or repeal and replace it completely but that Trump would act quickly, perhaps even convening a special session right after the January inauguration to address the law.

“As you know, the House and Senate under Republican control have repealed Obamacare dozens of times, but they’ve never had a Republican president go to the next step,” Conway said. " . . . that excuse has been removed, and I think you're going to see some significant action.”

Keeping up with politics is easy now.

A full repeal of the Affordable Care Act had been central to Trump's campaign. Over the past week, however, Trump said he would be open to keeping portions of the law, such as ensuring that people with preexisting conditions are covered and allowing children to stay on their parents' health plans through age 26.

When Wallace asked whether Obama had changed Trump's mind about a full repeal, Conway brushed it off as Trump being polite.

“I wouldn’t take it that far,” she said. “I believe that President-elect Trump is being properly respectful to President Obama. This is obviously his signature domestic legislative achievement, to hear Obama say it.”

Wike Is Not A Governor, He Is A Thug – Amaechi
By
Ngyab Staff -
November 13, 2016 0

AMAECHI The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, yesterday vowed to resist any form of intimidation and threat from any quarters in the December 10 Rivers rerun.

He promised the All Progressive Congress (APC) will match whatever antics and strategies deployed by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Governor Nyesom Wike during the exercise.

He also said all candidates of the APC must win at all costs, urging supporters never to succumb to the threats and intimidation of Wike.

The former Rivers governor said the APC will not take security for granted like it did in previous elections in the state.
Wike, according to him, is a thug who is not fit for governance.

Amaechi spoke at a rally in Bera in Gokana local government area, the hometown of APC Rivers South East Senatorial candidate, Magnus Abe.

He said the APC cannot afford to lose any seat in the senatorial district, especially the four Ogoni councils of Khana, Gokana, Eleme and Tai.

Amaechi said: “If there is one place APC that shouldn’t campaign, it is Ogoniland but Wike said he must win here.

“It is not as if he is God. Only God can say that but since he is not God, he will fail.

“Wike can never be God. The battle is not in Ogoniland but in the Ikwerre and Ahoada axis.

“So he had better forget here (Ogoniland). He said he will deploy everything.

“Anything he wants to deploy let him deploy, we will deploy our own.”

Charging APC supporters to square up to Wike and the PDP, Amaechi said: “Do not behave like democrats who went to sleep. Come out and vote.

“The past elections, we took security for granted. This time, we will not take security for granted.

“If Wike likes, let him come out. At all times he had come out I used to ask does this man remember that he is a governor?

“It is only a thug that can stand in front of a Judge’s gate to be struggling with security men, only a thug.

“A governor will go back to his house and call the President. When SSS invaded the presidential lounge of Akwa Ibom state government, what the governor did was to call the President.

“Instead of Wike to call the President, he was struggling with security men.

“In all the fight I had with the federal government under former President Jonathan, nobody saw me physically battling with anybody.

“When I became governor, there were many people appointed by Dr. Peter Odili.

“There were so many businesses by Odili people. I didn’t stop any. Wike is indeed a thug, not a governor.

“He doesn’t know what it takes to govern. The only way to show him that is in this election.

German Defense Minister warns Donald Trump to stay away from Russia and commit full to NATO
Alex Christoforou

German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen said the US president-elect needs to understand NATO is more about values than business-like behavior.

German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen is in panic mode. Her fear is that Trump may actually call out NATO’s uselessness…and that would mean Germany, and other NATO freeloaders, may actually have pay for their own security.

That is why, when von der Leyen warns Trump to not even think about rapprochement with Russia, she is signaling her fear that such a rapprochement would mean the end of her and her war hungry cronies.

When von der Leyen tells Trump that NATO stood by the US after the 9/11 attacks, and that NATO “isn’t just a business,” she is trying to kiss Trump’s ass, and admitting that NATO is in fact a “business.”

And of course no NATO grand standing would be complete without the exhausted and fictional argument that NATO is actually useful in countering Moscow on Syria and Ukraine.

RT reports…

Appearing on the ZDF Thursday show ‘Maybrit Illner’, German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen emotionally argued that the US president-elect needs to understand NATO is more about values than business-like behavior.

She also went on to address some unfounded speculation circulating in Western capitals, namely that Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are in a ‘bromance’ – a kind of relationship between the two leaders that would benefit bilateral ties between Moscow and Washington.

Therefore, the Defense Minister continued, the issues of the Ukrainian conflict and the ongoing anti-terrorist efforts in the Syrian city of Aleppo are not to be taken off the table during discussions with Moscow.

Here are some of von der Leyen remarks to Trump with regard to NATO…

“What his advisers will hopefully tell him and what he needs to learn is that NATO isn’t just a business. It’s not a company.”

“I don’t know how he values NATO.”

“You can’t say ‘the past doesn’t matter, the values we share don’t matter’ but instead try to get as much money out of [NATO] as possible and whether I can have a nice deal out of it,”

“Donald Trump has to say clearly on which side he is. Whether he is on the side of the law, peaceful order and democracy or whether he does not care about this and is looking instead for a best buddy.”

For his part, Trump has been lukewarm on the whole NATO charade…and rightly so. RT reminds us of what Trump has said about NATO…

During his election campaign, Donald Trump repeatedly voiced skepticism towards the bloc, calling it “obsolete” in the era of fighting terrorism worldwide.

“Maybe NATO will dissolve and that’s OK, not the worst thing in the world,” he said earlier.

Trump, however, earlier dismissed claims he favors Putin both personally and as a political leader, saying on NBC in September:

“I don’t know him, I know nothing about him really. I just think if we got along with Russia that’s not a bad thing.”

Trump has also suggested that the US should not engage too much in defending European allies.

“Hey, NATO allies,” Trump wrote in a Facebook post in July, “If we are not reimbursed for the tremendous cost of protecting you, I will tell you – congratulations, you will be defending yourself.”

Donald Trump Calls for Permanently Banning Taxpayer Funding of Abortions
National Steven Ertelt Sep 16, 2016 | 9:22AM Washington, DC

Donald Trump today has issued a call to make permanent the Hyde Amendment that bans almost all federal taxpayer funding of abortions and is credited with saving the lives of over 1 million Americans from abortion. Trump-‘s call comes as Hillary Clinton is campaigning in reversing Hyde and forcing Americans to fund free abortions for women with their tax dollars.

Every year, Congress is forced to fight the battle to protect Americans from being forced to pay for abortions with their tax dollars. Democrats annually fight the pro-life budget provision and hope they can eventually reverse it should they take control of both the White House and Congress.

That has led to pro-life groups calling to the adoption of a permanent law putting Hyde in place long-term and making it more difficult for pro-abortion forces to reverse. Today, Trump announced his support for such a law.

The call for banning taxpayer funding of abortions comes in a new letter from Trump. Trump commits to a new policy: “Making the Hyde Amendment permanent law to protect taxpayers from having to pay for abortions.”

“Hillary Clinton’s unwavering commitment to advancing taxpayer-funded abortion on-demand stands in stark contrast to the commitments I’ve made,” Trump writes, “to advance the rights of unborn children and their mothers when elected president.”

SIGN THE PLEDGE: I Pledge to Vote for a Pro-Life Candidate for President

Marjorie Dannenfelser of the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List praised Trump for calling for banning taxpayer funding of abortions.

“Not only has Mr. Trump doubled down on his three existing commitments to the pro-life movement, he has gone a step further in pledging to protect the Hyde Amendment and the conscience rights of millions of pro-life taxpayers. For a candidate to make additional commitments during a general election is almost unheard of,” Dannenfelser said.

The first order of business for Clinton and her friends at the abortion company is to force Americans to pay for abortions with their tax dollars by attempting to overturn the Hyde Amendment, which has protected Americans from funding most all abortions since the late 1970s. Upheld by the Supreme Court, the Hyde Amendment is now a target of abortion advocates who have moved from pro-choice to pro-abortion — forcing Americans not only to accept unlimited abortions before birth but to pay for them.

Earlier this year, campaigning in New Hampshire, Clinton made her support for tax-financed abortions clear.

During the rally, Hillary said abortion and abortion funding should be “defended both in principle and in practice.”

“Any right that requires you to take extra measures to access it is no right at all,” she continued as she listed a number of pro-life measures she opposes. “Not as long as we have laws on the books like the Hyde Amendment making it harder for low income women to exercise their full rights.”
