Satin and glossy. Satin is a low-gloss finish that creates a natural or classic look. High gloss for a bright specular appearance. A glossy finish is more expensive than a satin finish. When properly applied, the surface should be flat, level, and clean without adversely affecting the overall sound quality of the ukulele. Both finishes are good, it's a matter of which preference to choose.
