Fellow Nigerians, Pray 7 Times A Day That Nothing Happens To Nnamdi Kanu, 1967 Is Not 2016 - Ibrahim

A social media user, Ibrahim Hamza took to social media yesterday to warn Nigerians on the danger at hand after Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court affirmed Federal Government's request for secret trial i.e. to use masked witnesses to testify against IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Hamza wrote:
Fellow Nigerians please kneel down and be praying seven times a day let nothing happen to Nnamdi Kanu. Cause if anything happens to him. The earth will boil. Heaven will turn blood. Sun will be closer than ever. Ground will open and people like you and I will have no hiding place. Don't be deceived by the so Called "child's play Ojukwu and Gowon did and called it war." Don't pray for war. Cause black and white television is not the same as coloured television. The British is still using us for their experiment. The world and the people have become wiser. It only takes a wise person to know that Nigeria was nevr meant to be forever. It is only the selfishness of the people we call leaders that have been hiding the truth from the youth. Everyday across the world new countries are been created. Why would the case of Nigeria be different.

Gambia Political Crisis: A Dictator Like Buhari Does Not Have The Moral Rights To Intervene - Fayose

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state has faulted President Muhammadu Buhari's involvement in the meeting with President Yahya Jammeh to persuade him to concede defeat.

Buhari recently visited the Gambia with heads of some African countries to prevail on Yahya Jammeh to step down from the leadership of the country after he was woefully defeated in a presidential election by Adama Barrow

He had congratulated Barrow and promised a smooth hand-over only to make a u-turn.

But Fayose, reacting to Buhari's visit to Gambia in a statement on Wednesday, December 14, described the intervention of the Nigerian president in the Gambia political crisis as an aberration.

The governor in a release issued by his special assistant on public communications and new Media, Lere Olayinka, said a man like Buhari under whose watch free, fair and credible elections no longer exist lacks moral rights to preach obedience to democratic principles to anyone

He said Buhari, who lost election three times and never conceded lacks the mediation skills to resolve the Gambai political stalemate, adding that such task should be left for great Africans like former President Goodluck Jonathan, President John Mahama of Ghana and others who have lost elections and conceded defeat.

The governor also accused the present administration of desperately moving Nigeria from a multi-party democracy to a one party state.

He said: "with what happened in Rivers State last weekend, it is certain that votes of Nigerians will no longer be allowed to count as the APC cabal in the Presidential villa has now assumed the roles of INEC, allocating votes to their party and using security agents to force their will on the people."

“Did President Buhari face Jammeh and advised him to accept defeat the way he (Buhari) conceded defeat in 2003, 2007 and 2011 when violence was instigated and several people, including Youth Corp members were killed? Or did Buhari lecture Jammeh to take to democracy at gunpoint, which is now the norm in Nigeria?

"How can Buhari, who has destroyed the legacy of free, fair and credible elections that was handed over to him, be the one to prevail on someone else to adhere to democratic principles?"

Fayose advised Buhari to first remove the timber in his eyes before attempting to remove the toothpicks in other peoples’ eyes.

The governor however, faulted President Jammeh for reneging on his initial promise to accept defeat, but said the involvement of Buhari in the meeting to persuade him to step down was the height of hypocrisy.

The Fayose also raised the possibility of Buhari behaving like Jammeh in 2019 after he must have been defeated.

He said when that occurs, the international community may need a high-powered delegation get Buhari to concede defeat.

Similarly, Reno Omkri, the former special adviser on new media to former President Goodluck Jonathan has new reasons to castigate President Muhammadu Buhari over the latter’s actions and leadership style.

Omokri says the president does not have any moral right to prevail another person to step down.

Omokri’s argument is that Buhari has been doing his best to muzzle the opposition using every means including the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other such agencies.

Illustrating with the 2011 election, Omokri also wondered if Buhari would have conceded defeat if he was in Jammeh’s condition.

Over 9,700 Defenceless Nigerians Murdered Outside The Law In 17 Months Under Buhari's Watch - Report

A report has said that over 9,700 defenceless Nigerians have been murdered outside the law in the past 17 months .

The report also said over 1,500 other defenceless Nigerians were killed by the army under the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

The report which was compiled by the International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law and South-East Based Coalition of Human Rights Organisations (SBCHROs) said these people were killed outside the laws of the country.

Vanguard reports that among those killed include over 1,120 Shiite members and 250 pro-Biafra activists, the society noted in its report.

The society said: “Over 1,500 state murders mostly perpetrated by the Nigerian Army occurred under 17 months of the Buhari administration, including over 1,120 Shiite deaths and 250 pro-Biafra activists’ deaths on average of 88 for each of the 17 months.”

“Over 700 cases of attempted murder representing IMN and Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, members shot and terminally injured courtesy of the Nigerian army; Over 9,700 criminal deaths recorded in 17 months of the Buhari administration on average of 570 for each of the 17 months,” the report said.

It further added that the Amnesty International had in 2015 discovered that the Nigerian military had executed at least 1,200 men and boys between 2012 and 2014.

The military was also said to be responsible for the deaths in custody of another 7,000.

The society in its report, which was released in Onitsha, Anambra state to mark the 68th anniversary of the Universal Declaration (UDHR) said, in aggregate, over 101,500 defenceless have allegedly murdered between 1999 and 2016.

“Custodial deaths or deaths in detention custody mostly perpetrated by Police SARS, SCIDs and Army (during counter insurgency operations) accounted for not less than 21,500 in five years or since 2011 on average of 4,300 for each of the five years and 350 monthly; Over 6,000 killed by Fulani killers in five years or since 2011 on average of 1,200 for each of the five years. A variant of Fulani attacks accounted for at least 600 deaths in Zamfara State as at 2015.

Also, chairman of the society Emeka Umeagbalsi said 47,500 Nigerians were murdered in the last five years while 9,700 were killed since May 29, 2015.

Umeagbalasi said the updates showed a prolific rise in extrajudicial murder since May 29, 2015.

“From over 54,000 deaths in December 2011, it further shows that over 47,500 unarmed citizens were killed in five years, between December 2011 and December 2016; out of which over 9,700 criminal deaths took place in 17 months of the Buhari administration or since June 2015.

“The total criminal deaths hit 101,500 in 17 years and 47,500 in five years of 2011-2016 following addition of about 8,000 criminal deaths or civilian detainees’ custodial deaths which Amnesty International, AI, in its report of 2015 linked to the Nigerian army in the course of its counter insurgency operations in the northeast Nigeria.

“Statistical highlights: Over 101,500 criminal deaths in 17 years or since 1999, on average of 5,970 for each of the seventeen past years; Over 54,000 criminal deaths as at December 2011 on average of 4500 for each of those past 12 years as at December 2011; over 47,500 additional criminal deaths in five years or since January 2012, on average of 9,500 for each of the five years; Boko Haram accounted for not less than 17,000 criminal deaths in five years or since December 2011 on average of 3400 for each of the five years.

“Boko Haram killed not less than 2,500 in 17 months of the Buhari administration on average of 147 for each of the 17 months. Fulani attacks killed not less than 1,700 under 17 months of the Buhari administration on average of 100 for each of the 17 months; over 4,000 custodial deaths (Police SARS and SCIDs-3500; army and others-50 occurred under the Buhari administration on average of 23 for each of the seventeen months,” Umeagbalasi said.

A former minister of aviation and one of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Femi Fani-Kayode is currently ill, his lawyer has said.

Fani-Kayode’s ill-health was made known at the Federal High Court on Wednesday, December 14.

The former minister is currently facing trial of money laundering before Justice Tsoho.

Boko Haram Members Now Disguise As Menial Workers - Defence Headquarters Alerts Nigerians

The Defence Headquarters has released a statement alerting Nigerians of the new tactics Boko Haram members now employ. According to the statement signed by the Defence Director of Information, Brigadier General Rabe Abubakar, the sect members, mostly those that have been kicked out of Sambisa forest, have resorted to disguising as menial workers to carry out their attacks. Read the full statement after the cut...

"The Defence Headquarters wishes to alert members of the public of another antic being employed by the escaping Boko Haram terrorists that were smoked out of Sambisa forest by the combined efforts of the Nigerian Armed Forces. Available information indicates that some fleeing Boko Haram terrorists are now disguising as menial workers to melt into communities and towns with a view to organising terrorists attack against our innocent citizens. The unfortunate recent incidents in Madagali and Maiduguri are instructive. The Defence Headquarters therefore advises citizens to be on the alert and be wary of these tricks of the defeated terrorists who are hell-bent on remaining relevant inspite of their lost battle. This sensitisation becomes necessary now to create security awareness to our citizens to be conscious of some strange faces that could take menial jobs in their communities or towns, especially now that festivities are around the corner”.

N'Delta Avengers In Deadly Strike, Blow Up 48" Export Line in Rivers, Send Strong Warning To Buhari

The Niger Delta Avengers say they have bombed the Bonny crude export line in Rivers State.

In a statement release on the world wide web, the group said it “brought down oil production activities at the Bonny 48 inches crude oil export line” through its “strike team”.

The militants said the attack was a “wake up call” for the government, which it accused of intimidating youths in the region since the ceasefire began.

The statement, however, added that the organisation was “still in favour of dialogue and negotiations”.

This would be the first attack in Nigeria’s southern energy hub since the Niger Delta Avengers declared in August that it was halting hostilities to pursue talks with the government.

It comes as part of a chain of attack on oil installations by militant groups in Nigeria’s south-south region, which has drastically affected the nation’s economy.

The Niger Delta Avengers have claimed responsibility for most of the attacks on the oil facilities.

They said they expected a genuine and positive attitude to restructuring and self-determination for every component unit of Nigeria.

In an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari, written after they agreed to ceasefire, the militants pointed out that they had “listened carefully and halted hostilities” in the region.

However, they claimed that ongoing military operations in the creeks of Ijaw communities were pre-determined genocide in Niger Delta.

When INJUSTICE becomes a LAW, RESISTANCE will certainly become a DUTY!!!! Buhari and his nizooria government beware. NO SECRET TRIAL FOR THE LEADER of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Now I know

That education is good

Over zealousness is bad

Humility exalts

Arrogance dethrones.

Now I know

The ways of my ancestors are just

The king is born not elected

The gifts of God is smooth not laboured

A leader has a voice

His people hears and abide to it.

Now I know

Distance is never a barear

A leader commands from even afar

His people execute action

A voice of a leader is second to none

The enemy trembles at his voice.

Now i know

The character of a perpetual failure

Is accompanied with pride and arrogance

A friend that failed to advice you

is More than an enemy

The silence of your advisers is a grave that is dug for you.

Now i know

The easy way to burry a nation

is by electing an illiterate

The easy way to punish citizens

Is by arresting the eyes of the lion's heart

Easy way to chast away investors

Is by introducing unfavourable economic policies.

Now i know

Nnamdi Kanu's determination leads to success of Biafra restoration

Resilience enables him to achieve it

Persistence scars all his enemies

Now i know

That in the CATTLE republic

A supposed Democratic zoo

Where animals are meant to exercise their freedom

The power lies in the hands of a dictator bubu.

Now i know

The eyes of the lion's heart

Is greater than the dictator

And all the animals

in the cattle republic

Now i know

The voice of the eyes of the lion's heart Is soo tremulous

It awakes the dead, energies the weak and strengthened the strong.

Know I know

The dwelling place of the lion's heart

Is so sacred

Very protective

Those around him are dear to him

And a danger zone to his enemies.

Now i know

Desires of the eyes of the lion's heart is very dear to him

Gives no dam on who is on his way

Moves majestically on the focused point

Crushing any obstacles that tries to hinder.

Know I know

That roaring of the lion

Isn't soliciting for help

Is self encouragement

And decision for suicidal mission.

Now i know

From a very distanct nation

I heard the lion roared in the cattle republic

The hairs on me stood up

I realised whom I am

My spirit got ready to go to war.

Now i know

The music step has changed

The drums beatting has changed

The sound of the trumpet has echoed

The bowie knife is out

The heart is beating faster.

Now i know

The eyes of the lion's heart

Is Nnamdicious

People's redeemptor

Sacred and transparent

Buhari's antidotes.

Now i know

Nnamdicious is corruption resistant

Injustice proof

Uprightness executioner

Cattle republic destroyer.

OH YES I KNOW

Days Of Oil Are Numbered, Recession To Continue – Ekweremadu
December 10, 2016 News
The Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, has advised Nigerians to look beyond oil to secure economic prosperity for the country.

Ekweremadu, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Uche Anichukwu, said the days of oil as super foreign exchange earner for the nation were numbered or probably over. He gave the advice at the one year anniversary celebration of the Brickhall School, Abuja, founded by former Chairman, Senate Committee on Education, Senator Joy Emodi.

The deputy president expressed concern that not so much attention was given to education as much as oil, which would soon become valueless. He said the way to go for sustainable growth of the country was education for both the young and old.

“Our economy is in the throes of pain today because we thought the oil windfall would last forever.

“Even, while it lasted, we dismantled all the necessary structures, such as fiscal federalism, that would have encouraged competitive development and massive investment in human capital. Without prejudice to the place of petroleum resources in our national life, we must face the reality that the days of oil as super earner of foreign exchange are numbered, if not over.

“Those who still look up to petroleum resources for the revival of Nigeria’s weather-beaten economy live in the past and are only building castles in the air. “Prosperous global economies are knowledge-driven and the future only belongs to those who equip their citizens with quality education right from birth.

“This is a major reason most African nations, including Nigeria, are abjectly poor despite their rich oil and mineral resources.

“Meanwhile, many of their contemporaries, such as South Korea, with very little or no mineral resources, are among the world’s leading economies. “We must look beyond oil; and we must necessarily invest in education if we intend to make any headway. It is not a matter of choice, but imperative.’’

The deputy president of the senate urged privately-owned educational institutions to emulate the Brickhall School in providing high standard, but “pocket-friendly’’ education. He also urged government at all levels and public-spirited individuals to prioritise support for educational institutions through provision of adequate supervision, infrastructure, grants, donations, and tax rebates.

“A situation where government is only interested in collecting exorbitant taxes from privately-owned educational institutions, leaving them to fend for themselves in terms of access roads, security, water, power, and other social infrastructures is exploitative.

“The development is also unacceptable because it has virtually driven them beyond the reach of the poor. “Governments should be able to provide subsidised lands and other support in exchange of specific percentage discount for the poor to access privately owned educational institutions,’’ he said.

He commended Sen. Joy Emodi for consistently exhibiting innate drive for excellence and national development through the provision of quality education.

According to him, Brickhall School has demonstrated that private-owned educational facilities could provide high quality education at affordable costs devoid of exploitation.

CIA says Russia intervened to help Trump win election

By Joe Tacopino

December 9, 2016

The CIA has concluded that the Russian government interfered in the 2016 election with the specific intent of helping Donald Trump be elected as president of the United States, it was revealed Friday night.

Intelligence agencies identified people close to the Russian government who obtained thousands of hacked e-mails from the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta, The Washington Post reported.

The hackers then funneled the stolen material over to WikiLeaks, which spread the information across the Internet in a sophisticated cyber propaganda campaign.

“It is the assessment of the intelligence community that Russia’s goal here was to favor one candidate over the other, to help Trump get elected,” the paper quoted a senior US official as saying. “That’s the consensus view.”

Trump blasted the finding in a strongly worded statement that questioned the integrity of US intelligence community.

“These are the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction,” read the statement from Trump’s transition team. “The election ended a long time ago in one of the biggest Electoral College victories in history. It’s now time to move on and ‘Make America Great Again.’ ”

The New York Times also reported Friday night that Russians had hacked the Republican National Committee in addition to the DNC.

But the hackers did not release any information gathered from the GOP computer systems.

President Obama earlier on Friday ordered a broad review of campaign-season cyber attacks. The review, led by intelligence agencies, will be a “deep dive” into a possible pattern of increased “malicious cyber activity,” White House spokesman Eric Schultz said.

The review will look at the tactics, targets, key actors and the US government’s response to the recent e-mail hacks, as well as incidents in past elections, he said.

Obama ordered up the report this week and asked that it be completed before he leaves office next month, according to Schultz. The spokesman also said Obama sought the probe as a way of improving US defense against cyber attacks and was not intended to question the legitimacy of Trump’s victory.

During the campaign, Trump dismissed reports of Russian interference, saying the hackers could be “someone sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds.” At another point, Trump urged Russian hackers to target Hillary Clintion and “find the 30,000 e-mails that are missing.”
