JUST IN: Biafrans Rise In Anger After Orji Uzor Kalu Addresses Nnamdi Kanu As A 'Nigerian'

After former governor of Abia state, Chief Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu visited Nnamdi Kanu, detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, in prison, he wrote on his social media page: "Today, I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Kuje Prison and we engaged in a very long discussion. Kanu is my brother and a son of the soil. He shouldn't be where he is because Kuje Prison is not his home. It is therefore my utmost concern to see him regain his freedom like every other Nigerian.

Well, Kalu referring to Kanu as a Nigerian didn't go down well with some of the supporters of the pro-Biafra leader.

Reacting, one Meruonna Chukwuemeka, an IPOB member described Kalu's action as a big slap on his face.

Chukwuemeka wrote:

OUK ( Orji Uzor Kalu) visiting Our incorruptible and unapologetic leader Nnamdi kanu inside kuje Prison is not my problem, but where I got it unacceptable is where He address our Leader As a Nigerian!. What gave him such impetus to address him as a Nigerian?. Was he Arrested because he looted money as a Nigerian?. Hell No!

Nnamdi KANU has never presented himself as a Nigerian and will Never be! Nnamdi Kanu has never accepted to be A Monkey or a Baboon for once, (He hated that Name 'Nigeria' with passion to the Extend of calling it is a very big sacrilege to him) He has never come out to seek for Allocation or infrastructure or to stop the marginalization of Biafrans in this contraption as a Nigerian!

He comes out to liberate his people! He is here to restore our Identity which you Igbo Efulefu's sold out in the hands of Almajiris just for a peanut!.

He is here As a Biafran not a Nigerian!. I can't believe that he Orji Uzor kalu is so daft to Address Nnamdi KANU As a Nigerian despite his attire which says it all!. (This is a Big slap on our face). Well, I trust my leader ,even the Picture says it all...

WHILE HE OUK WAS BUSY RUNNING HIS MOUTH LIKE TAP TRYING TO CONVINCE/DECEIVE NNAMDI KANU ,HE NNAMDI KANU IS BUSY COMMUNICATING WITH GOD Chukwu Okike Abiama, whilst HIS BARGE WAS BUSY TELLING UZOR KALU 'WHOSOEVER THAT SENT YOU HERE ,KINDLY GO BACK AND TELL HIM THAT IS EITHER BIAFRA OR DEATH! BECAUSE I'M A BIAFRAN AND NOTHING CAN CHANGE THAT!!!!.

Ndigbo Have A Choice To Either Agitate For Biafra & Destroy Themselves Or Wait For 2023 Presidency - Osita

* Say 'Buhari's re-election will pave way for Igbo Presidency in 2023'

The Director-General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), Mr. Osita Okechukwu, has urged Ndigbo to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election bid in 2019 as it would would pave way for an Igbo person to become Nigeria’s president in 2023.

Okechukwu argued that the quest for a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction could be better achieved if Ndigbo support Buhari, warning that “if any other Northerner becomes president in 2019, the person will naturally seek another four years in 2023.”

Apart from the prospect of an Igbo presidency after Buhari, the Southeast region would also benefit in terms of infrastructural development and social security, posited Okechukwu, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

The VON boss who bared his mind at the 10th Coronation Anniversary of traditional ruler of Olo Kingdom, Enugu State, Igwe Ambassador L. O.C. Agubuzu, assured Ndigbo that Buhari has plans to reconstruct most federal roads in the South East and construct the second Niger Bridge.

Okechukwu who represented Buhari at the event, said the administration would also revamp of Enugu Coal mines and modernise the agricultural sector as a means of generating employment for youths in the zone.

He pointed out that embracing the Buhari government would return Ndigbo to the mainstream and open the window to appeal to their South West and South South brothers to give them the chance in 2019, based on equity and justice, especially when both regions have served their turns in the 4th Republic that started in 1999.

He said Ndigbo have a choice now to either agitate for Biafra and alienate themselves or to harvest the 2023 presidency, relying on equity and justice under the zoning convention.

He urged those agitating for Biafra to respect the views of those who believe in the path charted by Zik that an alliance between the North and South should be followed.

His words: “I have a dream of the goodies, progress and prosperity a president of Igbo extraction will bequeath to our dear country.

“This is our golden opportunity to actualise our dream for president in 2023. This roadmap is the best option, which our support for President Muhammadu Buhari definitely will enhance. For after his eight years the president will go South.

“Now, the important question we must ask ourselves at this juncture in the 4th Republic, is which trajectory will ZIK (Nigeria’s first president, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe) chart if he were alive in the circumstance where the zoning convention of rotation of president is a major determinant? ZIK will naturally follow the zoning convention.

“Zoning convention consolidated in the sense that since the 4th Republic took off in 1999, the president has rotated from the South, with Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, to the North, with Umaru Yaradua of blessed memory and to South, with Goodluck Jonathan and now back to North, with Muhammadu Buhari, and going South in 2023.

“If we embrace this government, we stand to appeal to our South West and South South brothers to give us the chance, based on equity and justice, especially when both had served their turns, since our entry into the 4th Republic in 1999.

“This is the option the great ZIK will adopt if he were alive, as any other option is fraught with danger, will be more tortuous and uncertain.

“Nigerians are ready for Ndigbo; they admire our hard work and enterprise and are ready to vote for Ndigbo from Abuja to other parts of Nigeria, if and only if we follow the trajectory of our political father, the great ZIK of Africa.

“For the benefit of the young ones amongst us, may I repeat that the great ZIK in the collective interest of Ndigbo and Nigeria in general designed, chartered and followed a trajectory of One Nigeria, and North-South-Allaince, which benefited our people immensely in appointments and projects and which today is classified in political parlance as Zoning Convention, where the president rotates between the South-North and North-South.”

Okechukwu answered those who query that zoning is not in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, saying it has its moral weight and is the major determinant of the 2015 presidential election and the stabilizer of the nation in 1999, after the political instability that trailed the June 12 1993 presidential election which M.K.O. Abiola won.

He warned Ndigbo to stop agonizing with ancient grudges or the propaganda that Buhari will Islamise Nigeria and that he hates the Igbos, but to organise for 2023, so as to produce the president of Nigeria of Igbo extraction, which will be a win-win for Nigeria.

Okechukwu recalled that the great ZIK of Africa, who led Nigeria to independence, designed and charted the convention of political alliance between the North and Ndigbo in 1960 and 1979 and it was highly beneficial to both parties and the nation.

He said the intention of ZIK that power should rotate between North and South could have worked and sustained democracy, but the failure of the two alliances led to the civil war from 1967 and 1970, which regrettably denied Ndigbo their turn to produce the president.

Okechukwu maintained that former president Shehu Shagari could have handed over to Dr Alex Ekwueme but for the military coup of 1983 which truncated the Second Republic and again denied Ndigbo the opportunity of producing a Nigerian President.

He insisted that the Zik’s option remained the most pragmatic, realistic and sure footed in the quest by Ndigbo for national integration, progress and prosperity.

On the agitations for a Sovereign State of Biafra, he stated that majority of Ndigbo want to remain in Nigeria, and even those who agitate for Biafra prefer it comes through democratic means and not by force.

Dalung Disgraces Himself Again In Fresh Blunder, Says 'Funds Spended Were Properly Spended' [Video]

The Minister for Youths and Sports Development Solomon Dalung in his bid to justify how properly his ministry spent funds allocated to it says ‘funds spended are well spended’.

The House of Representatives committee on sports summoned Dalung and other officials to appear before it in a bid to tackle pending issues on disbursement of funds to the various federations.

In a video posted by Channels Television, the sports minister who has been at the centre of criticisms denied allegations that his ministry is corrupt.

“Before we left for Rio (Olympics), we wrote and requested for the release of monies appropriated for in the budget and it has not been released for the federations.

“450million (Naira) was appropriated for the Olympics and we spent far far far beyond that; so monies that were given to the federation could not have been monies meant for Olympics,” Dalung stated.

The statement did not go well with some members of the committee who believe the sports ministry should not have spent more than the provisions in the budget.

"It is a serious matter, because he is spending outside the confines of the approval given by the national assembly," says Danburam Nuhu a member of the Senate committee on sports.

Dalung replied: “The funds ‘spended were properly spended’ because we got them from intervention funds from Mr. President.”

Chairman of the committee Bukar Lawal however advised that the sports ministry must re-appear before the committee at a later date.

“You make sure that when next you are here, you give us documents that are properly guided because we will not consider the 2017 budget until we are through with the 2016 budget and that is the procedure,” he charged.

Recall that Dalung made an unbelievable blunder while addressing the press about the stranded U-23 team at an airport in Atlanta in August.

The minister who was trying to defend the fact coach Samson Siasia and the Dream Team VI's predicament was not the fault of the FG said: "Our U-23 team are suffering in the United States of Nigeria."

WAR!!! Donald Trump Causes Meltdown Among Americans After He Tweeted This >>>

United States president elect, Donald Trump has caused some major 'meltdown' on Twitter after he took to his Twitter handle yesterday to tweet that China shouldn't return drones they've stolen from America as America won't need them again.

Trump’s tweet accusing China of stealing U.S drones was issued shortly after China’s foreign ministry said it was negotiating with the US over a vehicle, a “glider” used to collect unclassified scientific data that they 'captured' in the South China Sea.

Americans, flooded Trump's timeline blasting and accusing him of trying to cause some sort of International warfare with China on social media even before he became president.

BREAKING: Trump May No Longer Be Sworn In As US President Next Month, Here's Why?
For Anti-Trump supporters, there is still some glimmer of hope that president-elect Donald Trump won't be sworn in as president of the United States come January 2017 due to today's Electoral College votes.

In the recently concluded U.S Presidential election, Trump won the electoral college votes, defeating Clinton in major states, while Clinton won the popular votes, amassing over 2 million votes than her rival.

There's a possibility, though slim, that Trump won't be president if electors in the elctoral college vote decide to vote against the victor and vote against their states' results.

Read the article by CNN below.

The 538 members of the Electoral College are set on Monday to make President-elect Donald Trump's victory official.

In all 50 state capitals and the District of Columbia, electors -- chosen by the state parties of the candidate who carried their state, Trump or Hillary Clinton -- will meet to cast their ballots. The gatherings will remove the last bit of drama from 2016's unprecedented election season -- and post-election efforts to persuade Republican electors to vote against Trump, in some cases in violation of state laws requiring electors to support the victor.

Heightening the tension in recent weeks: Clinton actually won the popular vote by about 3 million -- making Trump the worst-performing winner in the popular vote since 1876.

Trump's victory is not, as he has described it, a landslide. He is expected to garner just 56.9% of the electoral vote, assuming all electors vote according to their states' results. That will give Trump the 44th-largest share of the electoral vote out of 54 presidential elections since the modern system started in 1804.

It's a better performance, though, than President George W. Bush's razor-tight victory in 2000 and slightly larger win in 2004.

Bush, too, lost the popular vote -- but Trump lost by a larger margin. He will become the worst-performing president in the popular vote relative to his closest rival aside from Rutherford B. Hayes in 1876 and John Quincy Adams in 1824, an election that featured four candidates and was decided by the House of Representatives.

Clinton won 48.2% of the vote to Trump's 46.2% -- a lead of more than 2.8 million votes and more than 2% as of Friday, with that lead expected to grow as the final ballots are tallied.

There's no national meeting of the Electoral College. Instead, electors gather in each state -- usually in the Capitol.

Under federal law, though, electors must gather on December 19. And each elector must sign six copies certifying their votes for president and vice president.

Two ballots go to the National Archives. One goes to the president of the Senate. Two go to their state's chief elections officer. And one goes to a local judge.

After Monday's votes, there is still one last step: On January 6, Congress has to officially count the electoral votes. Vice President Joe Biden will preside over the count.

Lawmakers can technically object -- in writing, with objections signed by at least one House and one Senate member -- to individual electoral votes or entire states' results. If the House and Senate support that objection, the vote or votes in question are thrown out. But that has never happened.
After the votes are counted, the results are final, and Trump is officially set for his inauguration at noon on January 20.
