Trending: We are ready for war, militants tell Buhari

Former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo

Niger Delta militants on Saturday threatened ‘war’ while dissociating themselves from the meeting elders from the oil-rich region had with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja, last Tuesday.

Apart from distancing themselves from the meeting, they warned the Federal Government not to rejoice yet over the recent rise in oil production in the country, threatening that a series of attacks await oil facilities in the region in the days ahead.

The militants also asked the Federal Government to drop the charges against Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, and other leaders from the region.

The Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, which is the only militant group that has refused to key into the ceasefire with the government, also claimed responsibility for Wednesday’s bombing of the Trans-Forcados Crude Export pipelines near Batan community in the Warri South-West Council Area of Delta State.

The Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, had on Tuesday said Nigeria’s oil production had recently risen to normal after a sharp drop earlier this year due to renewed militant attacks on oil and gas facilities in the region.

In a statement issued on Saturday by its spokesperson, Aldo Agbalaja, the militant group accused President Muhammadu Buhari’s government of plotting to wage war against the people of the Niger Delta region.

“As a matter of fact, what the Avengers did to the oil industry will be nothing compared to the grand plan already set by our central command. We shall bring Nigeria’s daily output quota to below 500,000 barrels. Just be ready for the approaching tsunami.

“The multinational oil companies, we know you are recalcitrant and will always come to test wills, we hope you will continue in this tradition so there will always be reason to let the world know that ‘you don’t contest the corners of a house with the owner of the house.’

“The destruction of the Trans-Forcados Pipeline is just a warning. We warned against the restarting of the facility, but the daring companies won’t listen. That shadow operation that brought the TFP down was only meant to let these companies know that we aren’t kidding with them; when we say stay down, you stay down, and it’s in your best interest.”

The militant group described last Tuesday’s meeting between Buhari and stakeholders, including traditional rulers from the region as a humiliation of the people of the Niger Delta.

“The humiliation that came with the meeting of the elders with President Muhammadu Buhari did not come to the NDGJM as a surprise. We expected it because we know even the government knows the character and intent of the man and most of those he led to the meeting.

“The only painful part is the fact that the humiliation is stamped on the collective image of our people. However, we want to dare President Buhari and his administration to attempt or fully carry out his military action against our people and see the response that will follow.

“We want to say here, without mincing words, that we are aware of his intentions. We heard loud and clear his hostile message, we understand his message and the NDGJM is saying we are ready for him. We know he has reportedly threatened war on our people; we had been calm enough not to respond to the threats, but at this point, we believe it is time for us to come out to say to him ‘enough is enough.’

“If it is war, bring it on, we are no cowards, just be sure you can sustain the consequences because this is not going to be another vanquished ‘Biafran Uprising’. Niger Deltans are nobody’s slaves; we shall fight until there’s nothing left to defend.”

Similarly, leaders of the Niger Delta Peoples Democratic Front, Ultimate Warriors of Niger Delta, and other major players in the Niger Delta Avengers, who spoke with SUNDAY PUNCH on Saturday, said they were not a party to the 16-point demand presented by their leaders to Buhari.

The leader of the NDPDF, simply identified as General Playboy, faulted the stakeholders’ meeting with Buhari, describing it as a platform for them (leaders) to expose their selfish interests.

He expressed surprise that the 16-point agenda submitted by the Niger Delta stakeholders to the Federal Government did not address the issues of Tompolo who was declared wanted by the FG.

He said, “The stakeholders are talking about negotiation. They are talking about $10bn for Niger Delta people; they (stakeholders) are thinking about oil blocs that will be released to Niger Delta people and how they will share it among themselves. That is the only thing they are thinking of.

“They have refused to talk about the fact that there is a matter against Tompolo that should be dropped. None of the stakeholders is thinking about others; they are only thinking of themselves. But it will not work as far as I am concerned except President Buhari comes down here to know the problem of the Niger Delta. That is when Nigeria will have peace. If not, there will be no peace. We are not interested in what the stakeholders went to do in Abuja.’’

The militant leader stated that a situation where ex-agitators like Mujaheed Asari-Dokubo, Boyloaf and Soboma Jackrich (Egberipapa) were not part of the stakeholders’ meeting, was an indication that government was not ready for peace.

“Any meeting geared towards peace without protecting Tompolo’s interest will fail. Tompolo himself cannot come out to negotiate his freedom. As far as we are concerned, Tompolo’s case needs a political resolution, just like that of Henry Okah and Charles Okah.

“These are forces in the region that should not be undermined. We want the Federal Government as part of the dialogue process to get a legal framework to free Okah and let Tompolo have peace otherwise peace will continue to elude the region, and oil pipelines will be blown off continuously to protest their persecution.”

Apart from persons from the region who were facing prosecution, he also demanded the release of the Indigenous People of Biafra’s leader, Namdi Kanu.

Similarly, a member of the Niger Delta Avengers who spoke on condition of anonymity told SUNDAY PUNCH that peace would continue to evade the oil-rich Niger Delta until the government stops the persecution of Tompolo and other leaders of the region.

He said, “All the politically motivated cases against Tompolo, Godsday Orubebe, Kingsley Kuku, Dr. Patrick Akpobolokemi, and Mrs. Patience Jonathan, should be dropped by the Federal Government, otherwise, agitation continues.”

Also, the spokesperson for the Ultimate Warriors of Niger Delta, Sibiri Taiowoh, vowed that his group would open a new chapter to the struggle.

He said, “We will return to the drawing board. And we know the Federal Government will fail (to meet the demands) because they are not sincere. We have lost faith in Buhari, so whether he will grant all the requests or not is irrelevant to us.’’

NDA warns Buhari against dealing with sycophants

The Niger Delta Avengers, in a statement on Saturday, warned President Buhari against dealing with “sycophants in his cabinet” if he really wants to achieve peace in the region.

The NDA Spokesperson, Brig.Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, in a statement made available to SUNDAY PUNCH, also challenged Buhari to visit the region instead of relying on information from his ministers and political friends from the region.

The group said, “You cannot treat the Niger Delta with disdain while you treat your brothers that are terrorists and kidnappers (Boko Haram) like kings and queens by committing the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement from Geneva to witness your transactions with them, before they released their hostages to you.”

“Let Muhammadu Buhari be advised to come down from his ethnic and religious fundamentalist iron horse to lead the Federal Government dialogue and negotiations team with neutral international observers and representatives of international oil companies.”

Meanwhile, the President of the Ijaw National Congress, Chief Boma Obuoforibo, has said Niger Delta stakeholders will not give the Federal Government an ultimatum or a timeframe to implement their demand for the development of the region.

Obuoforibo, who spoke in a telephone interview with SUNDAY PUNCH on Friday, said the stakeholders were optimistic that the President would not renege on his promise to alleviate the sufferings of Niger Delta people.

He said, “We are not going to be negative about the ability of the Federal Government to implement the demands because we have a positive mindset and we have never reached this length in the past. We are doing all this in good faith.”

Meanwhile, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, told one of our correspondents on Saturday that the release of Tompolo was not part of the demands of the Niger Delta leaders.

Shehu said, “I was present when the Niger Delta Elders met the President. At no point did anyone mention this (Tompolo) or any other name by way of a demand for release. ”

After release of former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro and former presidential spokesman, Rueben Amati, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has placed a ban on all visits.

EFCC has also stopped all suspects and inmates from making phone calls to their lawyers, family members and loved ones.

Sources on Saturday said that the development may be connected to number of solidarity visits to many of the politicians in custody, including Bala Mohammed and Femi Fani-Kayode.

Reliable source said that the EFCC management issued the order in a circular from the office of Acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu.

BREAKING! Finally, N'Delta militants declare FULL-BLOWN WAR on Nigeria, code-named 'BIAFRAN UPRISING'

06/Nov/2016

PARIS, NOVEMBER 6, 2016: (DGW) The factional militia group, the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, yesterday, declared its preparedness to engage the Federal Government in war devoid of ‘no victor, no vanquished’. The group was angry over what they tagged the humiliation that came with the meeting of the PANDEF with President Muhammadu Buhari, which according to the group, “did not come to the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate as a surprise.”

The group said: “We expected it because we know even the government knows the character and intent of the man (referring to the Minister of Information during the First Republic, Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark) most of those he led (including the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, his Bayelsa State counterpart, Serieke Dickson), to the meeting.” The militants expressed displeasure that the dialogue stamped humiliation on the collective image of the Niger Deltans.

The group maintained that the representatives of the people of the region at the meeting were not carefully selected by the various people and ethnic nationalities constituting the region but were cabals responsible for the current deplorable state of the region and its people. It would be recalled that the elder statesman and foremost Ijaw leader (Clark) led a delegation from the Niger Delta region to the presidency early in the week and tendered a 16-point demand, including ownership substantial part of oil blocs.

Recommended: JUST IN: AFRICANS IN THE SCANDINAVIANS, (AITS) AND FOREIGN-BASED SOCIAL CRITIC PLEAD WITH TINUBU TO FREE NIGERIANS AND BIAFRANS IN NIGERIA.

But reacting to the dialogue yesterday, the spokesperson of the militia group, Aldo Agbalaja, dared President Buhari and his administration to fully carry out military occupation in the region and watch out for the reprisal attack that would accompany it. “However, we want to dare President Buhari and his administration to attempt or fully carry out his military action against our people and see the response that will follow.

“We want to say here, without mincing words, that we are aware of his intentions. We heard loud and clear his hostile message. We understand his message even beyond his uttered words and the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate is saying we are ready for his worst. “We know he has severally threatened war on our people, which threats we had been calm enough not to respond to, but at this point, we believe it is time for us to come out to say to him that enough is enough.

If it is war, bring it on, we are no cowards, just be sure you can sustain the consequences because this is not going to be another vanquished ‘BIAFRAN UPRISING’, Niger Deltans are nobody’s slave. We shall fight until there’s nothing left to defend,” the statement read. The group said the bombings carried out by the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) would be nothing, compared to what the Central Command of the Greenland Mandate would do to the county’s oil sector in few days to come.

“As a matter of fact, what the Avengers did to the oil industry will be nothing to compare with the grand-plan already set by our Central Command: we shall bring the Nigerian daily output quota to below 500,000. Just be ready for the approaching Tsunami. “

The oil multinational companies, we know you are recalcitrant and will always come to test wills. We hope you will continue in this tradition so there will always be reasons to let the world know that ‘you don’t contest the corners of a house with the owner of the house’.

The statement continued: “The destruction of the Trans-Forcados Pipeline (TFP) is just a warning to a deaf/rogue entity. We warned against the restarting of the facility, but the daring companies won’t listen.

That shadow operation that brought the TFP down was only meant to let these companies know that we aren’t kidding with them; when we say stay down, you stay down, its in your own best interest.”

The group threatened that peace would only reign in the region unless honest leaders were selected by the people, for the people and by the people of the region. “Like we said prior to now, if there will be a dialogue and an agreement between the Niger Delta and the Nigerian Federal Government, it has to be transparent and sincere, and the representatives of our people will be selected by the various people, not handpicked by the cabal of leeches responsible for the current deplorable state of our land and people.”

Similarly, another ex-militant agitator, General Emman Shobor, has said that the 16-point demand made by the Pan-Niger Delta group when they met with President Muhammadu Buhari this week does not represent the interests of any of the agitating groups. General Shobor, who was the leader of the defunct Niger Delta Actualization Force, now a promoter of a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Niger Delta Initiative for Actualisation of Peace and Development, admitted that there are one or two representatives in the team from the Urhobo and Isoko, but insisted that the demands they made did not represent what the actual agitators wanted.

He commended the Federal Government for the creation of the waterways programme to be headed by the son of General T Y Danjuma (rtd), Mr. Yuki Ehime Omani.

The success of Ghanaian industrialisation would have further cemented the fact that African countries did not necessarily need White rule to be successful.

Kwame Nkrumah was a futurist, a born visionary. His plan as leader of Ghana was to make it an industrial hub within a generation. He dreamt of a united and successful African continent and the narrative he was creating for Africa was a foreign policy concern for the United States of America. In a Memorandum from the President’s Acting Special Assistant for National Security Affairs (Komer) to President Johnson, the coup that led to Nkrumah’s downfall was described as a fortuitous windfall because, “Nkrumah was doing more to undermine our interests than any other black African. In reaction to his strongly pro-Communist leanings, the new military regime is almost pathetically pro-Western.” In other words, the military regime was a shadow of the West, a whole puppet show mistaken for governance.

Before the declassification of the official documents by the USA, a C.I.A operative, John Stockwell, shared his knowledge on how the United States had been involved in evoking anti-Nkrumah sentiment and in the end causing the coup. He said, “Howard Bane, who was the CIA station chief in Accra, engineered the overthrow of Kwame Nkrumah. Inside the CIA it was quite clear. Howard Bane got a double promotion, and was awarded the Intelligence Star for the overthrow of Kwame.”

Nkrumah had ascended to power when Ghana gained its independence in 1957. Ghana adopted a flag with a Black Star in a nod to Marcus Garvey and his Black Star Line. Nkrumah was one of the leaders behind the Organisation of African Unity established on 25 May 1963. The visionary’s end goal for Ghana had been to industrialise it within a generation. He had used an accelerated eduction programme and set up a Ghana Education Trust (GET) to build schools in a bid to empower the people of Ghana with the requisite expertise for industrial take-off. He also led a promising scientific research drive which in 1965 had expanded to no less than five different research institutes for food sciences and technology, aquatic biology, geology and geophysics, industrial standards and marine fisheries. In 1966, Nkrumah said, “Many more research institutes are in an advanced stage of physical development or of planning. These include the Institute of Glass and Ceramics, the Institute of Metallurgy, the Institute of Wild Life research, the Institute for Research Development and a Centre for the Production of Scientific Instruments.” Education was only one of the chapters of the multi-faceted growth he envisioned for Ghana but it formed the very base. By the time of the coup, his country had 68 state owned factories. It is this futuristic industrial policy that was soon dropped by the military regimes that followed for reasons largely unreasonable in retrospect.
The danger of Nkrumah to the colonialists

Nkrumah’s ideology was a threat to the imperialist cause and it still is 50 years after. Within 10 years of Ghana’s independence, 31 other countries had gained their own independence. Ghana was a trailblazer in Africa and would rearrange the matrix of how the West related to Africa. The success of Ghanaian industrialisation would have further cemented the fact that African countries did not necessarily need White rule to be successful. Ghana was supposed to fit the narrative of a country which gained black majority rule and became a melting pot of tension and warfare. After deposing Nkrumah, that became the reality of the day with the country having 7 violent military transfers of power. Having undone Nkrumah, the United States started to control affairs with the IMF putting a stop to Nkrumah’s industrialisation policy. The regime that followed was a USA puppet. In Komer’s Memorandum to President Johnson, he said, “I am not arguing for lavish gifts to these regimes-indeed, giving them a little only whets their appetites, and enables us to use the prospect of more as leverage.”

Even now, the USA will pursue such a policy of giving a little and gaining a lot in the manner of African allegiance and loyalty. African leaders who are a part of this ploy to undo Africa are nothing but sell-outs. They insult the legacy of Nkrumah and so many others who were victims of the imperialists’ twisted scheming. Nkrumah’s fall had been discussed a year before it happened by the Director of Central Intelligence, the Ambassador to Ghana and the Deputy Chief of the African Division in March 1965 as shown by their Memorandum of Conversation. Africa should know there are discussions about derailing continental development that are consistently being carried out and it is up to Africans to stand strong and united.

At a January 1961 Casablanca Conference, Nkrumah himself had called for political unity in Africa or else “we will be fighting and warring among ourselves with the imperialists and colonialists standing by behind the screen and pulling vicious wires, to make us cut each other’s throats for the sake of their diabolical purposes in Africa.”

Why Does Biafra Want Separation From Nigeria? Seven Reasons—by C. K. Ekeke

Nov 05, 2016 Views

Biafra agitation is not a quest for restructuring and equity but a clear call for separation and freedom—Dr. C. K. Ekeke

I like to begin this article by saying that I am not a card-carrying member of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPO and does not belong to any freedom fighter group in Nigeria. I’m still a Nigerian citizen, however, I am very proud to say that I’m a Biafran because I was born in Biafra Republic and will remain a Biafran no-matter what citizenship I hold currently.

Having said that, I must state that the on-going agitation for Biafra nation by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPO and other Biafra groups is not a quest for equity or justice but a clear and sincere call for freedom and liberation from the Hausa-Fulani Sokoto Caliphate agenda to enslave and Islamize the former Eastern region of Nigeria.

Biafra agitation is not even a call to restructure Nigeria which, off course is urgently needed as many wise and eminent citizens have voiced out, but the agitation is a genuine and urgent call to liberate the former Eastern region from systemic marginalization, suffocating economic exploitation and political oppression against them by the Hausa-Fulani caliphate, Yoruba oligarchy and Igbo sellouts, saboteurs, and puppets. Therefore, the agitation for Biafra nation is a sincere call for separation—to liberate a godly people and free a nation of Biafra from Islamic Nigeria.

Today, the Gospel and message of Biafra being strongly preached by IPOB leadership through Radio Biafra and several Biafra media outlets including Biafra TV as well as IPOB protests across the world have rekindled the aspiration and hope of millions of Biafrans who are scattered worldwide.

In fact, the “Sit-At-Home” protest ordered by IPOB leadership on September 23, 2016 was hugely obeyed by all Biafrans across SE/SS region. The strategy was impactful and consequential. Everything from market shops, stores, schools, banks, etc., was shut-down that day. Most of SE/SS region was deserted. The ‘Sit-At-Home” protest was a clear evidence that Biafra nation is here and that Nigeria will never be the same again.

It must also be noted that it is ironic that IPOB leader and director of radio Biafra, Mr. Nanmdi Kanu has been in detention at Kuje prison since October 14, 2015 for asking for freedom of Biafrans from oppression. The IPOB leadership and their millions of members are doing what other freedom fighters and groups have done throughout history. Many northern leaders have said and done things that are worse.

And so, the continued detention of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu and clamp down, arrests, maiming and barbaric massacre of unarmed peaceful protesting Biafra youths by the Nigerian military personnel have amplified the message of the systemic marginalization and satanic oppression of the Biafrans in Nigeria. Despite these atrocities, they are not deterred. This informs me that IPOB is a serious movement led by courageous leaders and committed followers.

Throughout history, great movements have been propelled by the charisma of their leaders and commitment of their followers. Additionally, great movements are known for what they stand for—their articulated goals, ideals, aspiration and purpose. For little over a year, I have been studying IPOB and those who lead it and I can say without hesitation and fear that IPOB is a great movement and it is led by courageous men and women.

Time will come when history will properly write about IPOB and its leadership. But for now, I want to focus on the clear purpose of IPOB, and that is to liberate Biafrans and Biafra land from satanic agenda of the Hausa-Fulani caliphate to enslave and Islamize the entire Nigeria comprising Eastern region of Southeast and so-called South-south regions.

The islamisation agenda of President Muhammad Buhari is no longer a secret to millions of Nigerians now—his lopsided appointment, relocation of military headquarters to his State, the unleashing of EFCC, DSS, Boko haram, Fulani herdsmen, Army and other military squad that terrorize, arrest, maim that imprison his political opponents and massacre his enemies and unarmed peaceful Biafran youth protesters is unprecedented in Nigeria.

Furthermore, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB leadership are exercising their constitutional rights of freedom of speech and peaceful assembly. The agitation for Biafra independence fulfills the requirements of the United Nations Charter General Assembly Resolution of September 2007—articles 1 and 2, and article 20 of the African Charter on human rights recognizing and supporting the rights of all ethnic nations and peoples have the unquestionable and inalienable rights to self-determination of which Nigeria is a signatory to.

According to United Nations Charter General Assembly Resolution (A/61/295) of September 2007:

“Self-determination” is the principle and practice whereby a nation, for example, an ethnic nation is in control of its own people, its own land, its own resources, and its own governance, independent of any other subtending political structure. “

Additionally, constitutional freedoms of speech and expression as enshrined in the Nigerian law, do not forbid anyone from canvassing peaceful self-government which in any event is legally permissible under diverse international humanitarian laws including the Covenant on Civil and political Rights and the Universal Declaration of Human rights (UDHR) which Nigeria as a United Nations member signed on to.

So, I do not understand why President Buhari and his supporters are not aware of all these documents but continue to unleash such relentless, ruthless and unspeakable brutality on IPOB members seeking self-determination for Biafran people and region. President Buhari himself knows this quite well because he has stood at the United Nations and pleaded for two-state solution between Israel and Palestine as well as spoken out for an Islamic region known as Western Sahara, a disputed territory in the Maghreb region of North Africa, bordered by Morocco to the north, Algeria to the northeast, Mauritania to the east to be an independent nation.

So why this sort of hypocrisy in Nigeria. Why does President Mohammadu Buhari and his northern caliphate want Biafra people—mostly Christians to remain in Islamic Nigeria only to be butchered and massacred at will? Why does Nigeria need Biafran people by the way?

The President’s dictatorial and fascist tendencies, his imperial, fanatic and tribal leadership have sharply divided Nigeria. His disdain and condescension toward Igbos, his assault on the legislative and recently on the judiciary shows his cowardice and incompetence in governing a democratic Nigeria. I wonder if the President still remembers that Nigeria is no longer in military regime but has transitioned to democratic system of governance since 1999.

The President’s leadership failure as his wife—Mrs. Aisha Buhari correctly made us to understand recently during her interview with BBC Hausa Voice, coupled with the President’s unguarded response and comments, unwise actions, his lack of communication skills and presidential etiquette have been a complete disgrace. It is a really a shame that Nigerians—led by SW and crony Bola Tinubu and jihadist north elected a man who lacks the capacity to lead a democratic Nigeria in the 21st century. And to read from the President’s puppets who defend his dictatorship, impunity, tyranny and fascist government in this 21st century world is very disturbing and disgraceful. Nigeria is a failed State and an absolute global disgrace.

Here are the seven factors fueling the current Biafra agitation for separation and freedom from Nigeria.

I’ll share only three factors in this part-one and give you the remaining four factors in part-two of the essay next week.

Flawed foundation.

According to my study and research, there is no crime in history of human history that equals the cobbling of variant groups of people with vast differences into one country without any set of parameters and value system that give them true identity of their new nation. This is the case of Nigeria and most of sub-Sahara Africa. But Nigeria is worse case scenario in human history, Rwanda, Congo, Uganda, Kenya, and many other Africa commonwealth do have similar problems but more of tribal superiority and not radical Islamic religious fanaticism like Nigeria.

Colonization of Africa is an indescribable rape and destruction of the mother continent. British colonization is the worst crime against humanity. No atrocity in human history equals it.

Nigeria has become simply a den of death, of sorrow, sadness, pain, suffering and hopelessness – a lawless and failed nation Nigeria is a corrupt and failed experiment. Earlier this year, the former British Prime Minister, David Cameron called Afghanistan and Nigeria ‘fantastically corrupt’ nations. But I’ll go further to state that Nigeria is not only fantastically corrupt, but uncontrollably lawless and rudely barbaric. And so it baffles why the former and evil British Empire continues to support and back Nigeria’s “status quo.”

Today, Britons have peacefully conducted a referendum to exit the European Union (EU)—the so-called BREXIT, but will not support Biafra do the same in Nigeria. What a hypocrisy! I think it is time for Britain and global powers do the needful to reorganize, restructure and dismantle this continent of blood and death called Africa starting with Nigeria.

This is the primary reason fueling the current Biafra agitation for freedom and separation from Nigeria.

Ethnic hatred, envy, jealousy, tribalism, and injustice.

There is enormous hatred toward Igbos and Biafrans in Nigeria. Before the coming of British colonial empire, all Biafran people lived in peace and harmony with their neighbors and traded with them without conflict and violence. But after the conquest and colonization of the variant groups in present-day Nigeria by British imperialist, each ethnic group began to hate each other.

One major reason for this hatred is the social, linguistics, religious and common ancestral heritage that Biafrans have with Jews. It is believed that the two sons of Gad— Eri and Arodi are said to have fathered clans, established kingdoms and founded towns still in existence in Biafra land today.

Secondly, Biafrans like the Jews are very intelligent, innovative, hardworking, enterprising, and prosperous people.

Thirdly, the Igbos are called the ‘Nyamiri’ in the North, which means ‘money lover.’ And so, the Igbos are viewed as a people with an unbridled lust and love for money.

Fourthly, the Igbos are enterprising and adapting. They migrated and lived in the North, SW and across the width and breath of Nigeria and prospered as entrepreneurs.

Because of these four factors among others, Biafrans are hated by Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba tribes of Nigeria.

The ethnic hatred and tribalism led to state injustice against Biafra. And so, Nigeria, despite her enormous human capital and abundant natural resources—a nation with so much promise of prosperity and greatness is today a failed State because of ethnic hatred, tribalism, and injustice. Today, the State sponsors ethnic and religious massacre using Boko haram, Fulani herdsmen, and military as well as political motivated killings. This is another major reason Biafrans want to restore their nation.

The rise of state sponsored jihadism and killings of Christians in Nigeria.

Radical Islamic terrorism and jihadism is another critical reason why Biafra wants to separate from Nigeria. State sponsor of terrorism is a serious threat to the security, prosperity and unity of Nigeria. There is awful level of religious ignorance and intolerance, which breed violence and killings. Since the 1930’s, religious violence and ethnic killings have escalated in Northern Nigeria against Biafrans. Religious killings have decimated more Christians in Northern Nigeria in the last 50 years than hunger, disease, accidents and even wars combined together.

Since, the 1940’s, pogroms have been committed against the Igbo in the North. In 1945, Igbos were massacred in the city of Jos. In 1954, there was another massacre of Igbos in the city of Kano and in 1966 there was a prolonged series of pogroms. The 1960’s political crisis, tribal and religious killings led to unforgettable genocidal civil war of 1967-70 in which more than more than three million Biafra lives were wasted. That bitter civil war left an unforgettable anger, bitterness and hatred among the peoples of Nigeria. Even the end of war slogan “No Victor No Vanquished” could not bury the tumultuous and fractured history of a people that had been traumatized and to live peacefully and to trust each other until today.

Until today, Igbos are being massacred all over Nigeria without any arrest or punishment of the perpetrators of such heinous and barbaric massacres. Since 1999, we have seen the rapid rise of radical Islamic violence and the authoritarian corrupt political leadership. There is a growing religious intolerance and conflict, ethnic bias and strife, rise of Islamic fundamentalism especially in the northern part of the country, where jihadist sects like Boko haram, a group that detests Western education and social norms, are bombing businesses, Churches, Temples and Police stations killing people at random. The sect is also agitating for a Sharia Republic in the north.

Many sections of the country are currently under siege by Boko-haram and Fulani herdsmen—armed with AK-47, sharp knives, bows & arrows among other assault weapons—openly raping young girls, married women, killing and massacring local farmers including the recent massacres of unarmed Biafra youths by Nigerian DSS, Army, and Police in several Southeast and South-south cities.

It is unfathomable that this sort of barbarism is happening in Nigeria in the 21st century when nations are seeking ways to tap into the limitless opportunities for development and progress, Nigerian illiterate and murderous cattle rearers are busy massacring the future Biafran engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, etc., – the future leaders of Africa and the world.

Instead of the Nigerian military forces—Army, Police and DSS to clamp down on jihadist Boko harm and murderous Fulani herdsmen—who are carrying out mayhem and heinous crime against Biafrans in Nigeria, the military forces are rather aiding and protecting Fulani herdsmen murderers.

And no one is perturbed about these barbaric and senseless killings. Due to poverty, suffering, selfishness and hopelessness, Nigeria does not have men and women with common sense, civility, and compassion any longer. We have become a coward citizenry, lawless, hopeless, uncivilized, debased, and degenerate society.

Nigeria’s erudite scholar and top diplomat, Dr. Joseph Garba, captured it in his masterpiece book “Fractured History,” when he said:

“We (Nigeria) have degenerated into a nation of lawlessness and hopelessness; making an unprecedented turnaround; going from a nation of hope, strength, abundance, economic prosperity and high aspirations to a nation which has become the embodiment of a degenerate society’”.

Millions of citizens have lost hope in the Nigerian project. And we, in the Eastern region have had enough and want to be freed from the systemic marginalization, economic exploitation, political oppression, extreme poverty, senseless massacres, and most importantly the satanic agenda to make Nigeria an Islamic State by Sokoto Caliphate sponsored by Saudi Arabia and other radical Islamic Arab nations.

The Indigenous People Of Biafra under the profound Leadership of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu, have once again proved to the World that the restoration of Biafra is the only hope to the oppressed and subjugated, not just in Biafra but the entirety of Africa. Seven Ipob detainees who were arrested and detained at Ogwashi-Uku Prisons in Delta State, were visited by Ipob Leadership through a representative Ibeh Gift Amarachi with Food items, which includes Beverages,Bag of Rice,Carton of Tin Tomatoes,Carton of Biscuit,Carton of Soap,Antispetic,Vegetable Oil,Garri etc

It was indeed a none forgettable experience,as the Seven Ipob detained members displayed ardent excitement, appreciated the Love shown to them,by Ipob Leadership and making them proud to be Biafrans even in Prison.

Other inmates who sighted the Items, were surprised and where seen calling others to come and see what IPOB brought for their people.
Some of the inmates including,a Yoruba inmate who was parading the visiting room while the Items was handed to the Boys, pleaded that the Boys and their people shouldn't forget them, but should extend similar love to them, of which the inmate from Yoruba was given some Money out of pity, as he persistently pleaded for aid.
Mr Ifeanyi one of the inmates expressed gratitude and promised "Never to let Biafrans down, despite their incarceration and human right violations. He promised not to give up,until Biafra is restored".

The unlawful detention of Biafrans,is now raising eyebrows,as Human Right organisations are fighting and writing against it. Innocent and unarmed Biafrans who are agitating for their Freedom,in accordance with the UN Charter of Self-Determination,are maimed, arrested and killed against their human Rights.
Despite the fact that,The Nigeria Bar Association have protested against such illegal violations and stain on the white cloth of justice, the Nigeria Government is still bent on infringing the right of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, with impunity.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, have promised not to give up on the quest towards the restoration of Biafra, despite series of abductions and molestations. Furthermore,Ipob Leadership have vowed never to,allow IPOB victims to lavish or suffer in various Hospitals and Prisons where they are kept, despite the threats and intimidations,by the Nigeria Government, until the Sovereign State of Biafra is restored.

Despite the Federal Government’s consistent calls on Nigerians to patronise Made-in-Nigeria products in order to strengthen the economy and aid national development, SUNDAY PUNCH’s investigation has shown that President Muhammadu Buhari and members of his team are using foreign products.

The investigation showed that except their clothes, the President and his team have been using foreign products ranging from their shoes to their cars.

For instance, there was outcry especially on social media platforms recently when Buhari was spotted in a pair of Gucci 1953 horsebit loafer shoes.

The price of the shoes was put at $640 at that time.

Not a few Nigerians were surprised that with his acclaimed austere lifestyle, the President could be spotted in such expensive imported shoes.

Further investigation showed that none of the vehicles in the President’s convoy was manufactured or assembled locally.

His official car is a Mercedes Maybach S600 described as “an extra highlight in the luxury segment.”

The vehicle in base-line configuration is said to cost around $258,000.

The President’s wife, Aisha, has also been attracting comments to herself lately over the various expensive and foreign fashion accessories that she uses.

She had earlier been spotted holding a Hermes Birkin 35cm Porosus Crocodile Gold Hardware Bag in Washington DC recently.

The bag was said to be worth over $70,000.

A Hermes Himalayan Crocodile Birkin bag was said to have been auctioned for $432,000 recently.

A news portal had claimed that the pink version of Mrs. Buhari’s Hermes handbag was auctioned in 2015 for $222,912 at a Christie’s auction in Hong Kong.

Shortly after that, the President’s wife was again on October 18 spotted wearing a $2,600 multicoloured cape to Brussels.

She was also said to have been seen with an expensive diamond wristwatch by Chopard.

A look at Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo’s convoy also showed that most of the cars are expensive imported cars except for the Nissan Patrol Sports Utility Vehicle being used by some security operatives.

The SUVs were manufactured in Nigeria.

Our correspondent also observed that Buhari’s 36 ministers have Toyota Land Cruiser VXR V8 cars as their officials cars.

The President’s security chiefs also ride exotic bulletproof BMW cars.

But when contacted on the matter, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, told SUNDAY PUNCH that the President and Vice-President are already leading by example.

Shehu however said it was not the idea of government that officials should stop riding cars made abroad simply because those cars were bought overseas.

Such, he said, would be ridiculous and result to a waste of resources.

He said, “It is not the idea of government that its officials should stop riding cars made abroad simply because those cars were bought overseas. That will be ridiculous, and a waste of resources.

“The purchase and use of home made goods and services is a new campaign that will take time to fully entrench itself. This country has not banned the importation of goods.”

Clinton directed her maid to print out classified materials
Published November 06, 2016 New York Post

Clinton ordered maid to print out top secret information

As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton routinely asked her maid to print out sensitive government emails and documents — including ones containing classified information — from her house in Washington, D.C., e-mails and FBI memos show. But the housekeeper lacked the security clearance to handle such material.

In fact, Marina Santos was called on so frequently to receive e-mails that she may hold the secrets to E-mailgate — if only the FBI and Congress would subpoena her and the equipment she used.

Clinton entrusted far more than the care of her D.C. residence, known as Whitehaven, to Santos. She expected the Filipino immigrant to handle state secrets, further opening the Democratic presidential nominee to criticism that she played fast and loose with national security.

Clinton would first receive highly sensitive emails from top aides at the State Department and then request that they, in turn, forward the messages and any attached documents to Santos to print out for her at the home.

Among other things, Clinton requested Santos print out drafts of her speeches, confidential memos and “call sheets” — background information and talking points prepared for the secretary of state in advance of a phone call with a foreign head of state.

“Pls ask Marina to print for me in am,” Clinton emailed top aide Huma Abedin regarding a redacted 2011 message marked sensitive but unclassified.
