President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly ordered a comprehensive investigation of the transport minister and former Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi over judiciary bribe saga ravaging the ruling All Progressives Congress, an unconfirmed report according to247Ureport suggests.
According to 247Ureport.com, the house of the presidency appears struck on a path to self-implosion and as a result, the President had ordered for a comprehensive investigation into the allegations leveled on the Transport Minister by two Justices of the Federation.
Following what appeared as serialized exposure by the Justices of the federation of the involvement of Rotimi Amaechi in the attempt to subvert the judicial process, the President of the federation, General Mohammadu Buhari fell under the immense pressure from the international community to investigate the validity in the claims leveled by the Justices.
To this end, the President instructed for a probe be launched into the activities as alleged by the Judges. The Judges had alleged that Amaechi attempted to bribe them in more than one occasion.
Our source reliably confirmed a probe into the claims of the Judges were launched based on the instructions of Mr. President.
All of the bank accounts known to belong to Amaechi, according to our source, have been placed under watch – and the historical activity on the account sequestered, 247Ureport says.
Justice John Inyang Okoro, of the supreme court, alleged that the Department of State Services (DSS) is after him because he refused a bribe from Chibuike Amaechi, minister of transportation.
Amaechi has denied the allegation and threatened to sue the judge.
Okoro, whose house was raided by the DSS on October 8, alleged that Amaechi had approached him to compromise the governorship election appeals from Akwa Ibom, Abia and River states, but that he declined to fall in line.

Also, Justice Ngwuta in a letter to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, specifically mentioned Amaechi and Minister of Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, as two top APC leaders who approached him approached him to compromise the ruling of Ekiti and Ebonyi State Governorship elections.

Franklin Graham: Muslims And Christians Do NOT Worship Same God

Franklin Graham

Wow. He went and said it. In this pluralistic, PC culture, everyone wants to say that all roads lead to the same place, that worshipers all worship the same deity, etc. Even those who aren't so universal would still pause over the notion that Muslims and Christians worship the same God. After all, both cite Abraham as their spiritual predecessor, right?

Here, in a latest Facebook post, Franklin Graham clearly states where he falls on the issue.

You can read all about the professor put on leave in Christianity Today.

What do you think? Do you agree with Graham or do you think Christians and Muslims do worship the same God? Let us know your thoughts in the comments! Thank you!

Finally, Okorocha part ways with Buhari says APC responsible for Nigeria's economic woes

24/Oct/2016

PARIS, OCTOBER 24, 2016: (DGW) THE ruling All Progressives Congress has finally owned up that it has failed to deliver on its promises to Nigerians blaming it on their failed economic policies

They made this disclosure after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Monday. They threw in the towel after almost 17 calendar months of blaming the former ruling party, the Peoples' Democratic Party.

Governor Rochas Okoro of Imo State minced no words while speaking to newsmen immediately after the meeting with the president of the All Progressives Congress Governors in saying the failed economic policies of the APC-led Federal Government is responsible for the ongoing hunger and frustration in Nigeria.

WAR!!! Corruption Allegation: If Am Going Down, Buhari Must Come With Me - Amaechi Threatens

These are not the best of times for the Minister of Transportation. The house of the presidency appears struck on a path to self implosion as reliable information available through sources within the presidency indicate the President had ordered for a comprehensive investigation into the allegations leveled on the Transport Minister by numerous Justices of the Federation. And in turn, the Transport Minister is said to have threatened retaliation by exposing the President’s dirty deals over the alleged bribery allegation.

Information available to the media reliably confirms a probe into the claims of the Judges were launched based on the instructions of Mr. President. All of the bank accounts known to belong to Amaechi, according to our source, have been placed under watch – and the historical activity on the account sequestered.

In retaliation, the former Governor of Rivers State and the present Minister of Transport – Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi has chosen to go the route of blackmail. He is said to have opted to expose all involved parties in the said attempted bribery of the justices. “Amaechi has documentary evidence that shows Buhari was in-the-know about the attempt to bribe the Judges and how many of the campaign funds were raised.”

“Amaechi has assembled the documents and has sent over to Saharareporters, with whom he has a working financial relationship to publish the documents“, stated our source who explained that Amaechi had used his relationship with Saharareporters to push the All Progressive Congress [APC] change mantra. “The relationship is still existing”.

It is expected that in the coming days or weeks that Saharareporters will begin publication of documents – that is – if the presidency continues its probe of Amaechi. But what is certain is that Amaechi has already forwarded the said documents to the publishers of Saharareporters.

'FG Must Ensure Femi Fani-Kayode Does Not Die In Detention' - PDP

PDP in a statement released this morning, warned that its member, Femi Fani-Kayode must not die in detention. This comes after reports emerged yesterday that he slumped at the EFCC premises. Read the press statement after the cut ...

1. It is common knowledge that in furtherance of its campaign of attrition against members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the guise of an anti-corruption war, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, former Spokesperson for the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization (PDPPCP) was arrested in the premises of the Federal High Court, Lagos.

2. His re-arrest is the latest in a series of plans designed to further harass and intimidate our members and supporters using the security and intelligence apparatus of the Nigerian State. A few days before his arrest his wife, Precious Chikwendu and their 8 month old son, Aragorn, were arrested and would have been detained but for the timely intervention of Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State.

3. What is not common knowledge is that at the time of his arrest, Chief Fani-Kayode was ill and taking medication. Since his arrest, he has been denied access to his medication and medical doctors who are conversant with his medical history.

4. As at the time of writing this statement, officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have continued to deny Chief Fani-Kayode access to his medication.

5. The only conclusion that can be reached is that the APC led Federal Government and EFCC want Chief Fani-Kayode to die in detention. In the light of the prevailing circumstances where EFCC are detaining an obviously weak and ill man, this is an inescapable conclusion.

6. These continuous violations of the constitutional rights and freedoms of the Nigerian people by the Buhari Administration must stop. The Federal Government cannot, and must not, be allowed to continually infringe on the rights of the very people it swore to uphold.

7. We call on all well meaning Nigerians to urge the Federal Government to desist from its path of human rights abuses. 8. God bless Nigeria.

Signed: Prince Dayo Adeyeye National Publicity Secretary

FG May Increase Fuel Price As NNPC Says N145 Not Sustainable

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has said it can no longer sustain the sale of petrol at N145 per litre.

Recall that Labour last month warned against increment in pump price.

Speaking yesterday, Group General Manager, Crude Oil Marketing of the NNPC, Mele Kyari, said with the current price of foreign exchange, it was no longer feasible selling petrol at N145 per litre.

The NNPC official told newsmen at this year’s Oil Trading and Logistics Expo, holding in Lagos that “We have a very difficult business environment. It is impossible today to import products at the current market price, at current fixed foreign exchange rate.

“There is no way today you can take products to retailers and sell at N145. It is not possible.

“If that is true and I believe that it is, because we all go to the market, why can’t we sell above N145?

“I also know today that it is impossible for this government to announce tomorrow that petrol is about N150.

“This government cannot sustain it. That is the truth. The people will not accept that figure.

“That is why suppliers are not importing. Today, we are in subsidy regime, absolutely.

“There is no way you bring product today and sell at N145 and get back your money and make profit.

“That is not possible. You can see some marketers saying that fuel is N138.

“It is because they did not import. Somebody has taken the heat off the price.

“Because we (NNPC) have taken the heat and you buy from us, you can afford to go to the market and then put a ridiculous price.

“It is not possible because they did not import it.”

Dasuki did not steal $2.2 billion – Jonathan
October 25, 2016Nicholas Ibekwe
Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday said it was impossible for the National Security Adviser (NSA) during his administration, Sambo Dasuki, to have stolen $2.2 billion as claimed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Mr. Dasuki, who has been in detention since December 1, 2015, was arrested by the State Security Service for allegedly misappropriating $2.2 billion meant to purchase equipment for the Nigerian military in its battle against the terrorist Boko Haram group.

A Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, last Friday granted an application by the EFCC to consolidate two separate cases against the former army Colonel.

A statement by the anti-graft commission said Mr. Dasuki would be re-arraigned on November 16.

Mr. Jonathan, who spoke at the famous Oxford Union, Oxford United Kingdom, on youth entrepreneurship, argued that it was “not just possible” for Mr. Dasuki to have stolen $2.2 billion after his administration procured several equipment for the country’s military.

“They said the National Security Adviser stole $2.2billion. I don’t believe somebody can just steal $2.2 billion. We bought warships, we bought aircraft, we bought lots of weapons for the army and so on and so forth and you are still saying 2.2 billion, so where did we get the money to buy all those things?” he asked while responding to a question about the alleged missing arms procurement fund now referred to as Dasukigate by the Nigerian media.

While admitting that corruption was an issue during his administration, the former president said some of the allegations were “exaggerated”.

“Yes, there were some issues; yes, there are still corruption issues; but some of it were blown, I’d say exaggerated, and they give a very bad impression about our nation. You cannot say the national security adviser stole $2.2billion. It is not just possible,” he said.

He, however, said that as some of the corruption cases were still in court, he would rather allow the legal processes to reveal the facts of the matter and that he did not want to appear as challenging the incumbent government.

“One thing about the issue of corruption is that these matters are in court, let’s allow some of these processes to end. Lately some judges’ (homes) were also invaded. There are so many things involved and we have to follow up these matters to conclusion before we know the fact.

“I don’t want to be seen as a former president challenging what the sitting government is doing so I have decided to keep quiet for the court to look into them,” he said.

He said allegations of corruption were not unique to his administration.

He explained that governments had been overthrown in the past because they were accused of being corrupt, only for the new administration itself to be pushed out by another junta touting the anti-corruption mantra.

“You will see that it has become a major topic whenever there is a change of government,” he said.
He further argued that corruption was a global problem, but said the perception of corruption was greater in Nigeria due to the Nigerian media’s obsession with reporting on corruption.

“I am not saying there is no corruption in Nigeria, there is corruption. If you look at corruption there is almost no country that is free, the degree varies, the perception varies,” he said.

“Transparency International talks about the way corruption is being perceived in different economies, why do we talk about the way corruption is being perceived, it depends on the issue raised in the media every day.”

Shared: 10 LESSONS FROM THE ARREST AND PERFECTION OF BAIL CONDITION FOR 44 "KIDNAPPED" BIAFRANS IN BAYELSA IN RECORD TIME.

(1) Bayelsa state has just 8 Local Government Areas with Yenagoa as the capital city. That the state is the smallest in the country both in land mass and in population.

(2) That 44 Biafrans of the IPOB family were arrested on Saturday 22-10-2016 during one of their usual regularly held family meetings and detained.

(3) That the Magistrate handling the case actually confirmed that he didn't in his widest imagination ever envisage that the issue of Biafra can go so viral that just this very arrest of 22-10-2016 is now being discussed worldwide.

(4) That additional 44 Biafrans (working and business owning men only, excluding women) were required to stand as SURETIES to perfect the bail condition. (Yet some will claim that those agitating for Biafra are Jobless).

(5) That the 44 Suretying (six) IPOB members were assembled in less than 4 hours without any advertisement, notice or pre-information.

(6) That if a notice for Biafrans to stand sureties was to be announced that over 100,000 hardcore Biafrans would have shown up in small Yenagoa. That IPOB in Bayelsa state is very strong.

(7) That IPOB does not abandon any of its own.

(8) That average Bayelsans are hardcore Biafrans not withstanding what the Nigerian media would want you to believe.

(9) That there are people sympathetic to the struggle in various corridors of power who are not happy when Biafrans will being victimised and are willing to "code out" life saving information.

(1 That getting arrested does not kill the Biafran spirit, rather it acts as a fertiliser. That any arrested IPOB member comes out more determined and energised for the struggle.
