It's Insane To Think Biafra Is The Solution To Our Problem, Says Charly Boy As He Recounts Civil War Experience

Media personality, Charlyboy, popularly known as AreaFada, has shared his opinion on the ongoing agitations for Biafra by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB.

The activist said it’s insane to think that Biafra is the solution to Nigeria’s problem, urging Ndigbo to ‘focus on their homeland and begin to demand accountability and responsibility from many of their scammers, riffraff’s and fraudsters in the Ibo Kingdom called leaders.’

He also pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to ‘show mercy’ on the leader of the IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, who has been in detention since he was arrested by the Department of State Services, DSS last year. .

In an open letter, he wrote: “I guess it’s about time I break my silence on this matter. From 1967 to 1970 my youth was scandalized with the horrors of the Nigerian civil war. I was never on the front-line as a fighting soldier, but I was in the boys’ brigade transmitting from the naval headquarters then in Oguta.

“With the daily air raids and the smell of death all around us, we were thankful every day we managed to stay alive. I remember a sight that has never left me till today at the tail end of the civil war. I was walking down the street on my way to the stream to fetch water, lo and behold was the sound of death (air raids).

“As we all ran in different direction looking for a safe place to take cover, I turned around to figure the direction my friends were running in, all of a sudden I saw the head of one off them yanked off the body, as a result of the fighter jets that killed innocent civilians for fun, what a horrible sight for a 17yr old. The words of plato “only the dead see the end of war” were forever engrained in my thoughts.

“I am a proud Igbo man, a home boy and a native fowl. No demo. My friends call me Igbotic not because am a nerd, or a jewman, but because I represent and symbolize all the characteristics of a typical igbo man pre the civil war.

“The Igbos may have short circuited their political growth, but it doesn’t take away the fact that we are great Nigerians. I have learnt to be more Igbotic than I ever expected. As an igbo man, I have learnt to be more profitable in the things that I do. I have perfected the art of being tenacious in any dream I chase; to be industrious, consistent and powerfully focused.

“All the lessons I learnt from my brothers in the tribe have made me dogged, hardworking and exhibiting the ability and capacity to survive in any kind of weather. I am an original Nwa Biafra. Needless to say that the igbo man is known to be one of the most entrepreneurial mind in the country.

“So it is particularly pathetic and unfortunate when some ignorant youths talk about this illusion called Biafra. History should teach us that Nationhood is Bloody, Hard and almost impossible when fantasy is the currency of demand.

“Even as Nigerians, see how our docility is killing our humanity. Didn’t the fall of Biafra after the genocide and the suffering of my people teach us anything? Haven’t we been marginalized enough? I Believe the Failure of the Igbo nation is the fault of the people elites and decision makers. Why have we not poured our energy, capacity and Ability into making the South East the Dubai of the Nation as well as the engine room of the Nigerian Economy? Who would be our leaders when the south east is infested with political power grabbers, 419ers, mindless criminals and looters of our commonwealth and resources? Need I mention names?

“See how we have migrated to different parts of Nigeria and the world which is good, made it home and developed our immediate environment. Why are we neglecting our home base, why are we running away from developing the South East?

“Our problem may not after all be the man in Aso Rock from Daura or the ordinary Hausa or Yoruba man on the Streets of Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Warri or Ogbomosho. The problem is the lack of men of integrity and a progressive mind set. We lack the right kind of leadership that will fight for the interest of the People. Let it be clear to all that the suffering of the People from the South East is also the suffering of the people from the other geopolitical zones in Nigeria.

“It is therefore retrospectively insane to begin to think that a people with a problem would suddenly be relieved when they are attached with a tag #BIAFRA; What Nonsense and Insanity! Now how do you begin to imagine that while the agitation for the state of Biafra is being demanded by the gullible Ibo youths, those who have been or are in position of authority are either not interested or are continuing their expansive investments in other part of Nigeria? Who dem dey deceive? They divide us daily with Religion, Tribalism, Ethnicity and Petty Bigotry even among the Tribes and Ethnic composition in the South East there is divisiveness. Why is Namdi Kanu yet to realize that the Dreams of Nationhood are lost in the Altar of Deception.

“Have we even considered that the population of my people from the south east outside the Region is twice the population of those in the south east? How can we who are supposed to be looking at making the South East the centralized Industrial Hub of the Nigeria Nation be the ones who are driving a wedge of unrealistic fantasy between Nigeria and our own people?

“When President Muhammadu Buhari sings the localisation and Nigerianazation song; We should be the ones to drive the narrative, because We Can.. When you have a willing Partner, who is interested in the Nigerianization of the Nigerian Economy; Why are some of my people busy creating or Poisoning the environment that are ordinarily designed to favour that which will promote the industrialization of the South East. Why have we become the enemy of our own home? Why hasn’t the “think home mentality” arrested every igbo billionaires and millionaires? Why are we eliminating the chances of Ibonising the Nigerian Economy by Nationalizing the Ibo Thought for a United and Prosperous Nigeria as well as for the benefits of all?

“I cannot STAND here and tell you there are no problems of trust in Nigeria. I will be the last to say that the Ibo nation has not undergone persecution. I will be foolish to ignore the hunger that was used as a tool to starve the Ibo Nation during the civil war. I am perfectly in the know about the problems of the Nigeria structure, Abeg make we know our History but use am to work today to perfect tomorrow.

“No one can argue the facts, and the facts are clear. The major problem of the Ibo Nation is also the major issue with the Nigeria State. ‘The Mindset’. The Mind must first be liberated, the thoughts must be harmonised and the people of the South East, my dear brothers and sisters must know that the development of the region is horrible because the leaders in the region have failed. Politically, Religiously, Societally and Communally. Over the past decades; where is the Accountability from the leadership with regards – FAAC; IGR; LOCAL BONDS; FOREIGN DEVELOPMENTAL LOANS; AIDS; GRANTS & BUDGETARY SUPPORT; THE MANY FEDERAL PROJECTS IN THE REGION etc.

“The Failure of Leadership is evident in our agitation for Fairness, Justice and Equality for every Nigerian not just for every Ibo man. And so the Mind of the typical Ibo Leader Needs a Revolution to be realigned for the Interest of the People rather than the interest of their pockets. Biafra is not the Solution, I truly don’t think so.

“So, Igbo ndi Oma. Let’s focus on our home land and begin to demand accountability and responsibility from many of our Scammers, Riffraff’s and Fraudsters in the Ibo Kingdom called leaders. Let’s us pause on the fantasy tagged Biafra for now. Let’s us dutifully work ourselves back into reckoning, by industrializing our home base.

I know we can, and we should. I also urge Mr President to show mercy on our brother Nnamdi Kanu; Him be Pikin.

Leave Christian Leaders Alone, Focus on Herdsmen - Fayose Blasts FG

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has warned the Federal government to stop harassing religious leaders in the country.

Speaking through his special assistant on public communications and new media Lere Olayinka, Fayose, accused the federal government of indirectly supporting attacks on Christians.

Fayose said: “Nigerians, either Muslim or Christian deserve to be protected by the federal government, which controls all security apparatus in the country and the moment the federal government can no longer protect Nigerians from being killed by rampaging herdsmen, citizens of the country will have no option than to defend themselves.”

“If the federal government had acted swiftly like it acted on Apostle Suleiman so-called inciting comments when people were being killed by herdsmen across the country, so many lives would have been saved.

It is on record that the APC in Ekiti State issued press statements and went on social media to disparage the Redeemed Christians Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye just because he praised me when he came to Ekiti. And curiously, it was immediately Pastor Adeboye came to Ekiti State and praised me that he was forced to relinquish his position as the General Overseer of the RCCG.

“Apostle Johnson Suleiman openly condemned the killing of Nigerians across the country and went on to say that Christians should rise and defend themselves if the federal government, which controls all security apparatus will not defend them and the next thing that happened was the DSS moving swiftly to arrest him.

“Isn’t it ridiculous that instead of running after those herdsmen that have killed over 3,000 Nigerians in just one year, the DSS opted to arrest a man of God, who merely expressed his frustration on the inability of Nigeria to protect its citizens?

“Or who should be arrested between those killer herdsmen and Apostle Suleiman who merely expressed his readiness for self-defence and called on Christians to defend themselves if they are attacked by the herdsmen?

“We were all in this country when cattle breeders openly said over 1,000 Agatu people of Benue State were killed because over 10,000 cows were killed. We were also told that the Southern Kaduna genocide was as a result of killing of cows. Up till today, none of those cattle breeders have been arrested.”

JUST IN: George Soros Files Lawsuit To Impeach President Trump

Billionaire globalist George Soros has launched a campaign to impeach President Trump by filing a lawsuit against the President just days after taking office.

Soros’ Open Society Foundations funded the organization that filed the lawsuit against President Trump which will challenge the “Constitutionality of his presidency,” according to reports.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland last week, Soros boasted to the audience that he would “take down President Trump” for disrupting his globalist plans for the world.

On Monday, the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) filed a lawsuit claiming that Trump is in violation of a Constitutional clause banning government officials from accepting benefits from foreign nations.

Politico reported:

The suit, backed by several prominent Constitutional scholars, claims that Trump’s business dealings with foreign countries who rent space in his buildings or lend money to his real estate ventures run afoul of the foreign emoluments clause.

“President Trump has made his slogan ‘America First,’” CREW’s Noah Bookbinder said in a statement. “So you would think he would want to strictly follow the Constitution’s foreign emoluments clause, since it was written to ensure our government officials are thinking of Americans first, and not foreign governments.”

CREW describes itself as an organization that utilizes “high-impact legal actions to target government officials who sacrifice the common good to special interests.”

CREW, which does not publicize its donor list, has received financing from Soros’s Open Society Foundations. According to Discover the Networks, CREW has also been funded by the Soros-financed Tides Foundation.

In August 2014, longtime Hillary Clinton ally David Brock, founder of the heavily Soros-financed Media Matters for America progressive group, was elected chairman of CREW’s board.

Brock departed the organization last December, but Politico reported over the weekend that CREW is part of a network of groups for which the activist is attempting to raise $40 million to take on Trump.

Politico reported from a fundraiser Saturday in Aventura, Florida:

The constellation of political groups in Democratic strategist David Brock’s network are aiming to raise roughly $40 million in 2017, the Clinton antagonist-turned-top ally told roughly 120 donors gathered here on Saturday.

…Brock’s groups include Media Matters, a liberal news media watchdog; ShareBlue, a liberal news site; American Bridge, the party’s primary opposition research organization; and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), which carries out legal actions. CREW will be a particular locus of activity this year, according to donors briefed on the plans.

Meanwhile, a campaign to impeach Trump officially kicked off as soon as the billionaire was sworn in last Friday. The movement’s centralized hub is the ImpeachDonaldTrumpNow.org website, which documents that it is being led by by two liberal advocacy groups – Free Speech for People and RootsAction.

The Washington Post reported on the two group’s effort:

The organizers behind the campaign, Free Speech for People and RootsAction, are hinging their case on Trump’s insistence on maintaining ownership of his luxury hotel and golf course business while in office. Ethics experts have warned that his financial holdings could potentially lead to constitutional violations and undermine public faith in his decision-making.

“If we were to wait for all the ill effects that could come from this, too much damage to our democracy would occur,” said Ron Fein, legal director at Free Speech for People. “It will undermine faith in basic institutions. If nothing else, it’s important for Americans to trust that the president is doing what he thinks is the right thing … not that it would help jump-start a stalled casino project in another country.”

A closer look at the two groups leading the impeachment campaign is instructive.

Attorney and activist John Bonifaz is the co-founder and president of Free Speech for People.

Bonifaz is the founder of the National Voting Rights Institute (NVRI), where he also served as general counsel and executive director.

The NRVI’s website documents it is the recipient of “generous foundation and institutional support” from 24 past and present grantors, including Soros’s Open Society Institute.

The NRVI is also funded by the Soros-funded Tides Foundation, and the Joyce Foundation, which has partnered with the Open Society Foundations on numerousprojects. Former President Obama served as a paid board member of the Joyce Foundation for eight years from 1994 to 2002. Joyce has also been a prominent donor to the Soros-funded Media Matters For America progressive activist group.

Lance Lindblom, a director at the Free Speech for People group behind the impeachment campaign, previously served as Executive Vice President at Soros Foundation’s Open Society Institute/Open Society Fund, his bio relates.

And Jeff Clements, Co-Founder and General Counsel for Free Speech for People, popped up in a leaked Open Society Foundations document as attending the Soros-funded group’s U.S. Programs Board Meeting and Retreat February 23-24, 2011. Bonifaz was also in attendance at the retreat, at which Soros himself provided opening remarks.

The other group behind the Trump impeachment campaign, RootsAction, is led by a small team that includes its co-founder Norman Solomon. Solomon also founded the Institute for Public Accuracy, which, Discover The Networks reports, is funded by Soros’ Open Society Foundations.

China Prepares For U.S War, Deploys Long-Range Nuclear Ballistic Missiles Near Russia


China has deployed nuclear missiles to the Russia-China border in anticipation of a war with the United States.

Although Russian President Vladimir Putin has downplayed the issue, the missiles are capable of travelling over 15,000 kilometers – well within range of reaching the US mainland.

Unverified photos and videos of the massive ballistic missiles being deployed in the Chinese suburb made waves online as they spread across social media throughout this month. The footage had not been reported on until Tuesday, when the Kremlin’s Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said “[Russia doesn’t] see the military disposition of China as a threat to our country,” the Moscow Times reported Tuesday.

A video posted to Twitter shows officials guiding a large vehicle along a highway as it carried what appeared to be the DF-41 intercontinental missile.
China’s reported deployment of the intercontinental nuclear missiles has sparked fear of a potential confrontation between the two major nations, regardless of the Kremlin’s dismissal of its military.

The bordering countries have developed somewhat of an economic alliance as Putin’s Kremlin has increased international business negotiations and visits with the Chinese government ever since President Xi Jinping came to power in 2013.

The Council on Foreign Relations released its annual Preventive Priorities Survey for 2017, which examined each of the potential global conflicts that could occur in any upcoming year.

It also assessed what level of priority they were for American interests. A provocation between China and Russia was not listed as one of those issues, though the organization noted “a deliberate or unintended military confrontation between Russia and NATO members, stemming from assertive Russian behavior in Eastern Europe,” could be a “top tier conflict” in 2017.

Chinese officials have not released a statement verifying or denying the intercontinental nuclear missile deployment.

Muslim Group Calls For Immediate Arrest of Apostle Suleiman

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has called on Nigerian Security Operatives to arrest the founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman.

MURIC, in a press statement signed by its Director, Professor Ishaq Akintola described the pastor’s utterance as provocative and unpatriotic.

Akintola said, “Pastor Johnson Suleiman wants to make the country unsafe for Muslims and law abiding Fulanis. It is not in our character to issue threats. We are mature enough to control our emotions… We do not want to join issues with belligerent people who are always bullying Muslims and Fulanis by telling lies and issuing threats.”

“Pastor Johnson Suleiman must still be questioned and cautioned for his provocative statements.”

Breaking: Tension In Asorock As Obasanjo Picks BUHARI’s Replacement Ahead Of 2019

If Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has his way President Muhammadu Buhari will be a one term President.

Obasanjo has reportedly picked two former Northern Governors to replace Buhari; NAIJ reports. He’s however yet to decide which of the two men it will be. Obasanjo’s two picks are former governors of Jigawa and Kano, Sule Lamido and Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Sources privy to the political situations in the north told NAIJ.com in the afternoon of Monday, January 23, 2017 that 2019 was one of the issues discussed when former President Goodluck Jonathan visited Obasanjo on Friday, January 20.

“I can tell you that part of the discussion between Obasanjo and Jonathan centred on the 2019 election and the need to make the PDP stronger as an opposition party even though baba has decided to be a statesman.

“He has not categorically mentioned or favoured anybody as a possible replacement for Buhari, but I can assure you that he has a soft spot for Lamido, the former governor of Jigawa. There is this fear that Buhari cannot continue after 2019. He is daily becoming weak and the weight of the country’s challenges is very heavy,” the source from the north said.

When contacted, the national president of the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF), Alhaji Yerima Shettima, said that both Lamido and Kwankwaso are stooges to Obasanjo.
