THE PREGNANT DEER - such a beautiful story !

In a forest, a pregnant deer is about to give birth. She finds a remote grass field near a strong-flowing river. This seems a safe place. Suddenly labour pains begin. At the same moment, dark clouds gather around above &

lightning starts a forest fire.

She looks to her left & sees a hunter with his bow extended pointing at her.

To her right, she spots a hungry lion approaching her.

What can the pregnant deer do? She is in labour!

What will happen?

Will the deer survive?

Will she give birth to a fawn?

Will the fawn survive?

Or will everything be burnt by the forest fire?

Will she perish to the hunters' arrow?

Will she die a horrible death at the hands of the hungry lion approaching her?

She is constrained by the fire on the one side & the Flowing river on the other & boxed in by her natural predators.

What does she do?

She focuses on giving birth to a new life.

The sequence of events that follows are:

- Lightning strikes & blinds the hunter.

- He releases the arrow which zips past the deer & strikes the hungry lion.

- It starts to rain heavily, & the forest fire is slowly doused by the rain.

- The deer gives birth to a healthy fawn.

In our life too, there are moments of choice when we are confronted on all sides with negative thoughts and possibilities.

Some thoughts are so powerful that they overcome us & overwhelm us.

Maybe we can learn from the deer.

The priority of the deer, in that given moment, was simply to give birth to a baby.

The rest was not in her hands & any action or reaction that changed her focus would have likely resulted in death or disaster.

Ask yourself, Where is your focus?

Where is your faith and hope?

In the midst of any storm, do keep faith on creator always. He will never ever dissapoint you. NEVER.

Remember, He neither slumber nor sleep !! Strong person knows how to keep her life in order. Even with tears in her eyes, she still manages to say 'I'm Ok' with a smile. I send this to u because u are a strong person.

That was why God heard your prayers. God be with you.

Happy birthday bro Ifeanyi.

ENGR. EKENZUWA PHILIP WROTE:

I am neither surprised nor worried by " their" hatred for Buhari... rats and a cat can never live in the same place. Too many things divide and draw heavy distinctions between PMB and his haters:

He loves Nigeria , they hate it.

He thinks of Nigerians, they think of themselves and family.

He is honest, they are dishonest.

He has character, they lack it.

He pursues the Hereafter they struggle to have the world in their armpits.

He is patriotic, they are greedy and selfish.

He serves, they derail and enslave.

He is devoid of moral stains, they are immorality personified.

His past is clean and shinny, their past hunts them.

They are thieves, he catches thieves.

They have stolen, he wants to get back the loots.

They are insects and pests, he is a powerful and effective insecticide.

Fear fears him, they are afraid.

They are running, Buhari is in hot pursuit.

They call for division, he works on unity.

They say Boko Haram, he calls Nigeria.

They want Biafra, he chooses Nigeria.

They shout Niger Delta, he advocates Nigeria.

They shared money for arms, he is retrieving the money and buying the arms.

They sponsored insurgency, he is defeating insurgency.

They are like gel, he is the fire melting them.

They make the noise , Buhari does the work.

They are destroyers, he is a constructor.

They are wailing and weeping and crying, the man is smiling, shaking, organising and hugging poor folks.

How can they love him?

The more they hate him, the more we love him.

The more they fear, the more we feel secured.

I can not choose a rusted iron and leave gold.

Buhari has chosen Nigeria and I have chosen him. (Please pass on until it gets to every patriotic Nigerian)

A devout Muslim got into a cab in London. She politely asked the 'Cab Driver' to turn off the radio because her religious doctrine forbade her listening to Music.

The Cab Driver politely asked her.. "why?".

His passenger replied:

"In the time of the Holy Prophet there was no Music, especially Western Music, which is the Music of the Infidel."

The Cab Driver politely switched off the radio, stopped the Cab and opened the door for his passenger to disembark.

The Arab Muslim was surprised and asked him:

"What are you doing?"

The Cab Driver answered:

"In the time of the Holy Prophet, there were no Taxis, no Bombs, no Plane Hijacks, no west invented Loud Speakers in Mosques that woke up newly born, the elderly and the sick at unearthly hours. Definitely no Suicide Attacks and no AK 47;

Only 'PEACE' everywhere.

So shut up, get Out of my Taxi and wait for a Camel."

BIAFRA: Rep Condemns FG's Secret Trial Of IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu

A member of the House of Representatives, Nkem Uzoma-Abonta, has condemned the Federal Government’s plann

Uzoma-Abonta who represents Ukwa Federal Constituency of Abia State in an interview with Vanguard in Abuja, yesterday, also told the Federal Government to make efforts in tackling the economic recession in the country, saying that Nigerians were passing through acute starvation.

On the secret trial of the IPOB leader, he said, “The law says that all trial should be in the open apart from juvenile.

Even the military trials to large extent is done open. I think it may not be proper, it may not be very right to try him in secret.

“Of course, we must all condemn sedition, we must all condemn incitement and unwholesome act to cause disunity in Nigeria but justice must be done and be seen to have been done.

“The trial should be open, it should be seen to be open so that people will now see that they proved their case or they did not.

It is more preferably to be an open trial while we look at what led to the agitation to address it so that we will be able to handle it in a way that it will not cause further agitation.

“But I want to advise the Federal Government to handle that matter in a way that it will not raise further agitation. But all trials should be in open court.”

Commenting on the state of the nation with regard to the current recession, Uzoma-Abonta who is the House of Representatives Committee Chairman on Petitions said, “The state of the nation is a worrisome issue to all of us particularly to the major stakeholders.

There are no gain saying that as we went for the Christmas recess, we saw the impact of recession on Nigerians.

“Nigerians are very hungry, there is absolute lack of food and want among the citizenry.

It is almost an embarrassing situation that people now cannot boast of one square meal. The usual rice that people feast on this festive period disappeared, they were lacking.

“Therefore, we think that the government should double efforts in seeing that Nigeria is returned at ease again and solutions must be found, all hands must be on deck so that the populace should be able to feed and be happy again.

“As it is now, there is problem, acute starvation and except we do something serious, there will be problem.

We need pure practical economic planning to ensure that Nigerians will eat. I am not talking about luxury, I am talking about the basic necessities.”
