A US armored brigade (3rd Armored Brigade, 4th Infantry Division) is on the move to Russia's Baltic border. After its equipment begun arriving in Europe last week so now have its soldiers.

The move is so big it will require 37 trains and over one thousand rail cars to transport from Germany to Poland.

A US armored brigade fields over 400 tracked and over 1300 wheeled vehicles including 80 62-ton Abrams tanks, 140 Bradley armored fighting vehicles and 400 humvees.

3rd Armored will spend nine months in Poland and Lithuania (covering the so-called "Suwalki gap" after which it will be replaced by another heavily armored unit.

Thus from now on nearly four thousands American soldiers will be stationed on Russia doorstep for ever.

Overall US has 70,000 troops in Europe. Russia has zero troops in North America.

US troops are deploying as part of NATO's "Operation Atlantic Resolve" announced when the new cold war blew up in 2014.

WHAT YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT KANU'S COURT CASE TODAY 12 JANUARY 2017 THAT NIGERIA MEDIA WON'T ALLOW YOU KNOW

By Kosisochukwu Chibudo

Published by Family Writers

NNAMDI KANU'S COURT CASE TODAY AT THE HIGH COURT ABUJA IS ABOUT WHAT IS CALLED PRIMA FACIE IN LAW. THIS SIMPLY MEANS THAT KANU'S LAWYERS ARE TELLING BINTA NYAKO THAT NIGERIA HAS NO EVIDENCE AGAINST HIM, THEREFORE HE IS INNOCENT OF ALL CHARGES!

Again Kanu have argued convincingly that BUHARI does not know the meaning of Self Determination hence he is confusing it with attempt to secede from Nigeria.
To the uneducated mind, both self determination and secession may appear to mean the same thing, but in Common Sense and LAW they are not. The court today 12 January 2017, is about exposing to the world what Buhari has been hiding from the public and that is the fact that Kanu has no case to answer.

What is a Prima Facie Case?

The term translates from Latin as, essentially, the case at first sight. As that phrase implies, it is a way to evaluate a case at an initial stage to see if there is any support for bringing it to trial. A party with the burden of proof, in this case Buhari's regime, presents a prima facie case when the party presents enough evidence to support a verdict in the party’s favor, assuming the opposing party does not rebut or disprove it. This means that the party with the burden of proof has shown that he or she can meet that burden as to each element of his or her case.

**Note**

Where a party with the burden of proof (Buhari appointed Prosecutors) cannot present a prima facie case against Kanu, his lawyers by law will apply for the charges to be dismissed because Buhari cannot possibly win the case. This is why Mogaji Labaran the Buhari prosecutor in the matter does not want Justice Binta Nyako to hear the application for the establishment of prima facie in the case against Kanu and the others. Because they Government of Nigeria knows there is not enough evidence to convict KANU and the others. That is why they opted for secret trial in order to tender incriminating evidence that cannot be challenged by this process.

What today's court is about is that the prosecution i.e. Buhari, has to present a prima facie case that Kanu is guilty of the crime charged. If Buhari cannot present evidence supporting each element of the crime they charged KANU with, then Binta Nyako must acquit him (even without having presented any evidence).

For example, where a prosecutor has charged a defendant with burglary, the prosecution must present evidence that the defendant made an entry into premises without authorization. If the prosecution’s only evidence is that the defendant was found sometime after the burglary to be in possession of items stolen from the premises, that evidence alone will not support a burglary charge. The defendant would not have to offer any evidence but could request an acquittal based on the prosecution’s failure to make out a prima facie case of burglary.

A prima facie case is an early screen for a court to determine whether the prosecution can go forward to try the defendant fully for the crime. As such, the standard of proof that the prosecution must satisfy at the prima facie case stage is lower than that for proof that the defendant is guilty. In order to establish a prima facie case, a prosecutor need only offer credible evidence in support of each element of a crime. By contrast, a prosecutor must prove defendant’s guilt as to each element beyond a reasonable doubt to win a conviction. So, even if a prosecutor can present enough evidence to establish a prima facie case as to all elements of a crime, the prosecution must nevertheless still prove defendant’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. This is a constitutional requirement.

-Practical effect-

If a prosecutor cannot establish a prima facie case, that almost certainly means he did not have probable cause to support the arrest of the defendant. That, in turn, means that the charges would be dismissed even before getting to the stage of the prosecution offering her prima facie case. As a result, the prosecution in most criminal trials has no difficulty establishing a prima facie case because the defendant would have already been released otherwise.

-Next phase—defendant’s case-

The defendant has the opportunity to offer evidence disputing each element of the crime that the prosecution has established in its prima facie case. And, the prosecution must prove each element beyond a reasonable doubt, so the defendant’s main goal is usually just to cast doubt upon the prosecution's proof. If the defendant succeeds in doing so, he should be acquitted.

Real Significance to a Defendant
If a person charged with a crime can challenge the charge early and on the inadequacies of the prima facie case (or, better yet, the grounds for arrest), that person can save him- or herself time and money (and avoid a potential criminal penalty).

Video: ‘Russia uses intelligence as 'hybrid warfare tactic' on West’

Latest update : 2017-01-12
Russia stands accused of meddling in the 2016 US elections; specifically gathering intelligence to get Donald Trump elected. Experts warn that Russia’s intelligence gathering capabilities are seriously worrying, calling it ‘hybrid warfare’.

Last week, US intelligence agencies released a declassified version of a report accusing Russia, and in particular President Vladimir Putin, of having waged an influence - and information - gathering campaign aimed at discrediting Hillary Clinton and boosting Donald Trump ahead of the November election.

In an interview with FRANCE 24, Foreign Policy and Strategy Consultant Molly McKew says that Russia’s tactics are in fact far more dangerous than they currently appear, amounting to nothing less than hybrid warfare.

THE NIGERIAN MEN OF GOD AND THE REST OF US:

The recent disagreement between the govt and the church, specifically the RCCG over the regulation of religious activities by the former which ended in the resignation of Pastor Enoch Adeboye as the G.O of the Nigerian branch of the RCCG and the sack of Jim Obaeze of the FRCN who implemented the regulation, proves so many things, one of which is that the Nigerian Pastors wield enormous powers to influence govt policies and even force the govt to do its bidding.

Most importantly, this Jim Obaeze sack proves that Nigerian Pastors have the wherewithal to force the Buhari-led govt to reverse most of its anti-people policies, treat the fulani bloodletting with the seriousness it deserves and even curb the rise in Islamic fundamentalism across the country.

The big question is:

Why have these Nigerian Pastors refused to deploy their clout to the service of the common man? How come it is only when their interests are threatened that they remember to exercise their influence???

For instance, thousands of Nigerians, some of whom are members of these churches, have lost their jobs due to the anti-people policies of this govt. Thousand more have been killed in their homes and millions displaced by the fulani terrorists. As I type this, the mostly christian people of southern kaduna are on the verge of going into extinction as a result of the murderous activities of the fulani terrorists.

But surprisingly, the Buhari govt has been protecting these murderous fulanis while governor Elrufai has been paying them to keep killing innocent people as he recently confessed.

Why has Adeboye and co not bothered to exercise thesame influence they exercised in this Jim Obaeze case? Is it that these Pastors value their personal interests over and above the lives of these helpless Nigerians who look up to them for spiritual guidance?

Not too long ago, a Redeemed pastor, Mrs Eunice Elisha was gruesomely murdered in Kubwa, Abuja by some Islamic barbarians. Redeemed Christian Church Of God is Pastor Enoch Adeboye's church and the murdered woman (Eunice) was his pastor. But what did he do/say?

Nothing!

But now that his position as the G.O was threatened, he spoke out and his speaking out led to the sack of a govt official.

Mrs Bridget Agbohime was murdered in Kano and her murderers were set free by the kano state govt. The federal govt could have taken over the case as it did in the case of Joe Umunnakwe who named his dog 'Buhari' in Ogun state but it refused and the murdered woman was denied Justice.

Yet, most of these so called men of God who are supposed to be the conscience of our society maintained criminal silence.

The G.O of Winner Chapel worldwide, pastor David Oyedepo has never commented on any of the aforementioned incident. But the moment some Nigerians criticised the high fees he charges in his schools, he came out to inaundate us with tales of how Jesus personally fixed the fees for him and threatened to infect anyone who dare criticise him with mouth odour.

Neither boko haram nor the marauding Fulani terrorists deserve Oyedepo's mouth odour? And the mouth odour threat just had to be issued at no other time than when Oyedepo's business interest was threatened?

Father Ejike Mbaka is a very influential priest who commands large followership:

Under Mbaka's watch, a seminarian was butchered by the marauding fulanis. Hundreds more have been killed in Mbaka's home state of Enugu and even his own town. But, just so he doesn't ruin his cozy relationship with president Buhari, Mbaka has never condemned the fulani killing and the proven cases of criminal complicity of Buhari and his security Chiefs in these bloodletting. Even when Catholic Bishops, priests and sisters came out in protest against the killings, Mbaka chose to stay away.

But, when thesame Mbaka was issued with a letter of transfer, he regained his tongue and cried to high heavens.

The truth is bitter but it must still be said:

Most Nigerian Men of God are conscience-less. They are in the church mainly to enrich themselves. These men are full of god but devoid of good. They are better referred to as Pastorprenuers. Just as an average Nigerian politician see politics as a means of enriching himself, some of these jet-flying Daddy G.Os see their church as their business empire rather than a soul-winning avenue for God.

Now, before you come here to defend your pastors with the archaic "don't judge" line, you will do well to read about prophet Elijah, Elisha, Jeremiah etc. Those old testament Men of God stood on the side of the common man and opposed wicked rulers who were oppressing the people then. Elijah stood up to the tyranny of the wicked queen Jezebel. Jeremiah's constant wailing earned him the tag "Jeremiah, the weeping prophet"

Any man, pastor or not, who places his personal interest over and above the sacred duty of defending the right to life of the common man, is a very repulsive man undeserving of any form of respect among decent people.

Some Nigerian Men of God are a disgrace to the body of Christ! These guys mock God daily with their soulless hypocrisy and criminal complicity in the grave injustices the common man is subjected to in this country by the political hawks masquerading as our leaders.

I know some of you religious fanatics will ignore every other thing I've said here and chose to come for my head in defence of your Pastors but before you do, I only have one question for you:

What do you think President Buhari will do if Bishop Adeboye (let us not even include Oyedepo, Lazarus Muoka, Mbaka, TB Joshua etc for now) were to use thesame clout he wielded in this Jim Obaeze's case to issue a statement condemning Buhari's silence in the face of the mindless bloodletting by his Fulani kinsmen??? What if Oyedepo, Muoka, Mbaka, TB Joshua etc were to do thesame either individually or collectively??

Imagine if they were to issue a strong-worded statement against the govt-sponsored genocide in Southern Kaduna??

Do you think Buhari will defy warnings from these influential Pastors or you think he will be forced to act decisively against these fulani killings, thereby savings millions of lives including those of your loved ones????

Think about this!

PRESIDENT BUHARI'S CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO OHANEZE AND MY NOTE OF CAUTION TO NEW OHANEZE LEADERSHIP

I would like to begin by congratulating the new Ohaneze leadership and to wish them God's wisdom as they pilot the affairs of Igboland for the good of our people. However, I must raise a caution for them before they join their predecessors to sell the Igbo nation for crumbs.

It was encouraging to hear from the President General, Chief John Nwodo that he is ready to die for Ndi Igbo. My hope is that he understands that if he truly meant this, that the enemies of the Igbo have already condemned him to death even before he was elected to that position. Now in his divinely held life, he must commit himself to a departure from the ways of the past.

For Ohaneze to be truly an Igbo organization, committed to the long term interest of the Igbo people, its leadership must engage President Buhari from a principled stand. The Leadership of Ohaneze should on no account visit President Buhari until he has set up a bipartisan commission to investigate the extrajudicial killing of over 150 praying Igbo youth killed by his government as reported by Amnesty International and other Human Rights Organizations. To hub-nub with a President who is granting amnesty to murderous organizations but killing our people for peacefully asking for their rights, will be a blatant act of sabotage against the Igbo people.

To be clear, Ohaneze does not need to plead for President Buhari to investigate the killings. They should demand it. They do not need to visit Aso Rock to ask the President to investigate the killings. They can make the request from their office in Igboland.

If the new Ohaneze leadership is genuinely for the Igbo, they must resist visiting Aso Rock for the next one year. They have work to do in Igboland. They should spend the next one year putting their house in order and consulting with Igbo communities in Igboland and around the world. That should be their primary responsibility.

Ohaneze should have no business with going to Abuja to discuss the second Niger Bridge or to ask for Igbos to be included in government or to ask for the construction of roads in Igboland. These are lame excuses used to go to Aso Rock to collect crumbs and negotiate away the freedom and future of our people. The present generation of our people can no more be fooled by these schemes.

Ohaneze should have no business working for the so called "President of Igbo extraction". It is a wild goose chase and a gimmick used to continue to maintain the crumb seeking syndicates in Igboland. The Igbo does not need Nigerian Presidency. What the Igbo need is freedom coming out of a restructured Nigeria or a new republic that would protect their lives and property wherever they live around the world.

With these said, I call on the new Ohaneze leadership to ignore President Buhari's congratulatory message because it has not street value. President Buhari should first of all acknowledge that Igbo lives matter before he would have the capability of knowing who and who are qualified to be leaders of the Igbo people. Serving in Nigerian Government is not a qualification for being an Igbo leader! Loving the Igbo is. Until President Buhari or the National assembly of Nigeria brings the killers of the Igbo youth killed in the church and peaceful rallies, it will be a betrayal for Ohaneze to pay any visit to Aso Rock. Nothing good will come out of such visits but further mortgaging of the conscience of our people.

UNITY OF NIGERIAN NATION-STATESISMANTLING THE LIES ABOUT THE INDIAN EXAMPLE.
===================================

When folks come to you to peddle such unfounded and unresearched argument of the possibility of political stability in Nigeria citing the #IndianExample,do well to remind them of the many factors which make it impossible for Nigeria to be united like the Indian Republic;
It is true that Nigeria and India are similar along the following lines;common population diversity, common colonial masters with deliberate "divide-and-rule strategy and peaceful transfer from colonial rule to independence.
*While India have cleavages(divisions) that cuts across each other Nigeria have differences in almost everything which overlaps on each other along regional lines.
Do you know it's not true that Hindus in India speak the same #language, are of the same #socioeconomic class, and live in the same #region.
*While Indians(both the Aryan and Dravidian race) have common ancestral history and traditions experiencing a unifying independence, Nigerian nation-states had separate civilizations, colonised differently (while the Muslim north rejected independence, the animist/christian south accepted independence in 1957 ahead of the North's 1959.)Thus, the Nigerian independence wasn't a unifying one but an " annexation model" against the wishes of the ppl.
Also, while Indians exploited their diversity in precolonial times to pursue their independence, Nigerian independence had ppl pulled from different ethnicities even wen they weren't prepared for nationhood.
*While India have cleavages-tribe,caste, region, religion, and languages-slice across each other regardless of regional boundaries, Nigeria not only have differences overlapping on to of one another, they also coincide with #regional boundaries e.g A Normadic Fulani man who is a Muslim with core sharial adherence finds his abode in the same North while same is for an animist Southerner who practices Christianity with clear cultural adherence. Over 250 ethnic grps, with distinct land&cultural xtics are geographically separated.
*Pre-colonial,colonial and post-colonial India had strongly promoted #central govt with equal resources (uranium, natural gas and oil) whereas political stability in Nigeria, since British inquest, have been undermined by the unequal resource distribution and promotion of regional govt.Nigeria lack common national history unlike the Indians.
*Most striking is the fact that while Indian territories and boundaries remained untouched during colonisation, the 1885 Berlin conference had boundaries in Nigeria artificially dismantled with blatant disregard for the existing tribes, demography and geography of its inhabitants.
Finally,Nigeria as a people lack common national history unlike the Indians who have had common civilization which had forged prior to colonisation.
#Beguided.

1966 Coup: “The Igbos and other Nigerians' involvement.
Let the truth be told. The People involved in that so called 1966 “Igbo coup” were:
1. Major Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu (Midwest Region Igbo)
2. Major Adewale Ademoyega (Western Region – Yoruba), author of “Why we struck”
3. Capt. G. Adeleke (Western Region – Yoruba).
4. Maj. Ifeajuna (Eastern Region – Igbo).
5. Lt. Fola Oyewole (Western Region – Yoruba), author of “The reluctant rebel”.
6. Lt. R. Egbiko (Midwestern Region – Ishan).
7. Lt. Tijani Katsina (Northern Region – Hausa/Fulani).
8. Lt. O. Olafemiyan (Western Region – Yoruba).
9. Capt. Gibson Jalo (Northern Region – Bachama).
10. Capt. Swanton (Northern Region – Middle Belt).
11. Lt. Hope Harris Eghagha (Midwest – Urhobo).
12. Lt. Dag Warribor (Midwest – Ijaw)
13. 2nd Lt. Saleh Dambo (Northern Nigeria -Hausa)
14. 2nd Lt. John Atom Kpera (Northern Nigeria-Tiv).
The reason for calling the 1966 Coup an Igbo exercise is because the government of Nigeria has refused teaching Nigerian History in our schools. And core North has been busy misinforming Nigerians that the 1966 coup was an Igbo coup.
……………………………………….
Yoruba – Igbo fact sheet. This article has no tribal sentiments. Pls add ur own facts if u have any. History will always tell us what happened.
1. Azikiwe defeated Awolowo to become the first Nigerian Premier of Western Nigeria (present Southwest plus Edo and Delta States). Awolowo instead of forming Opposition, rather formed Egbe Omo Yoruba and used it to intimidate Yorubas that won election on NCNC platform to cross carpet and join him against Azikiwe. This was the first parliamentary coup in Nigeria.
2. Awolowo from then on, started indoctrination of Yorubas against the “threat of Igbo domination”. That is how the incurable seed of fear of Igbos was sown in the psychic of Yorubas which Yorubas later sold to other groups through Yoruba control of the media for decades.
3. Alhaji Tafawa Balewa , Nigeria ‘s first Prime minister could not tolerate Awolowo’s treacherous and inordinate ambition of acquiring political power by all means and at any cost. So, he threw Awolowo into prison for treason.
4. Samuel Ladoke Akintola who replaced Awolowo as Premier of Western Nigeria tried to destroy Awolowo’s political grip on Yorubaland by forming a party to takeover Western Nigeria in alliance with the Hausa-Fulani oligarch who Awolowo despised as a backward race. Consequently, Yorubaland went ablaze in revolt against Akintola’s plot. Law and order completely broke down in Western Nigeria. Wole Soyinka wore a mask and forced announcers at Western Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation to declare that Akintola’s government was a fraud.
5. Yet, Tafawa Balewa refused to declare state of emergency in Western Nigeria in order to keep Akintola as a proxy for Hausa-Fulani interest. This was the MAIN reason Yoruba graduates in the Army were the brains behind the coup led by Chukwuma Nzeogwu who happened to be Igbo.
6. As Wole Soyinka and even Obasanjo acknowledged, Nzeogwu ‘s coup was widely accepted by a vast majority of Nigerians across regional, religious and ethnic divides. 9. But the dissatisfied Hausa-Fulani oligarchy who had majority in Nigerian Army infantry used their puppets, Yakubu Gowon, Theophilus Danjuma and co to overthrow General Ironsi.
7. In order to win support of Yorubas, Gowon released Awolowo from prison. The Hausa-Fulani knew Awolowo’s fear of Igbo as the only group that stood against his ambition to power. Gowon therefore quickly made a deal with Awolowo which in effect was that power would rotate between the North and the West (Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba) in post war Nigeria if Awolowo convinced Yorubas to join the North in fighting Igbos.
8. The Nigerian Army was consequently split into two divisions: the northern sector division commanded by Hausa-Fulani and the southern sector division, commanded by Yorubas.
9. Lagos, a city built largely by Igbos and were Igbos invested heavily, was also ceded to Yorubas as a State even when there was no Abuja at the time (1967). Awolowo was made Vice Chairman of Federal Executive Council and Finance Minister. All federal government owned banks in Nigeria at the time which included the Central Bank and First Bank, were under Awolowo and Yoruba management. It was a deal Awolowo could not resist. The man was an unscrupulous Machivellian anyway.
10. The Igbos were eventually defeated and Yorubas became champions of nationalism.
11.
Awolowo tried to make sure no Igbo man or woman would ever be more than a financial destutute let alone have the financial resources to rival a Yoruba
12. To achieve his objective of permanent Yoruba supremacy, Awolowo insisted that every bank account owned by an Igbo, regardless of how much was in it before the declaration of Biafra, would only be replaced with twenty pounds! He instructed Yoruba Permanent Secretaries who took over the Federal Civil service when Igbos left, to make sure that Igbo senior civil servants were not reinstated but to rather retire those who could not be dismissed as rebels. The same policy obtained in the Armed Forces of Nigeria and Police .
13. The Igbo were not only made pariahs but also financial destitutes.
14. Every house and industry in Igbo city was destroyed by war. Schools were closed for 3 years and many were razed to the ground.
15. Awolowo masterminded the indiginization policy by which Yorubas bought over all companies in Nigeria using money readily made available to them by the banks under their control. The Igbos were excluded.
16. They rejoiced and relaxed and complaisantly asked: “How could Igbos ever rear their ugly heads up again”? Sure, if that had happened to Yorubas or any other ethnic group, that would be their end. But as Awolowo rightly feared, we happen to be Ndi Igbo.
17. The shooting war ended 45 years ago and we are still here. We have survived all policy shenanigans contrapted by treacherous Yoruba masterminds and executed by their Hausa-Fulani allies.
18. In frustration, they have realized that we are who we are. Imagine their frustration! Never mind all Yoruba masterminded psychological attacks on Igbos disparaging us in any way they can.
19. Yes, Federal government policy has made them the tycoons of oil and gas, telecommunications, insurance and manufacturing. Oh, their Hausa-Fulani cum military allies gave Nigeria to Obasanjo for 8 years in keeping faith with their alliance.
20. Bola Tinubu is struggling for Awolowo mantle by forming an alliance of etho- religious jingoistic to ensure power keeps rotating between Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani. Where is the position of the Igbo and other tribes in Nigeria.
What is ur
