Hundreds Of Prayer Warriors Descend On Washington To Provide Prayer Shield For Donald Trump

Like angels from heaven, hundreds of "prayer warriors" have descended on Washington D.C. to undertake a crucial mission: protect U.S. President-elect Donald Trump by building a "prayer shield" around him ahead of his Jan. 20 inauguration.

Among these prayer warriors are the members of a new group called POTUS Shield (as in President of the United States) who gathered inside the National Press Club on Thursday, CBN News reported.

Pastor Eric Majette from Virginia Beach, Virginia said POTUS Shield is composed of pastors from all over America.

"We're actually a prayer group. We pray for leaders across our nation — a group of pastors come together to pray for our nation and our leaders, particularly the new administration," he said.

Speaking at the gathering, Alveda King, the niece of famed civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the director of Civil Rights for the Unborn, said they are counting on God to bring sweeping positive changes to America.

"We're really not looking for Mr. Trump or any human to change America, but we know God can and will do it," she said.

Pastor Leon Benjamin from Richmond, Virginia addressed the concerns aired by members of the African-American community who fear that the Trump administration will mean trouble for them.

"We must believe for the best," Benjamin told CBN News. "It doesn't matter who is in the White House as long as there is faith that God has not forsaken us and that He has not left us because of a transition of power. That would be dreadful for us as pastors and leaders to say 'Oh my God, we're doomed now!' So we're very hopeful."

Other prayer warriors descended on Capitol Hill to pray not only for Trump but also for Ben Carson, the former Republican presidential candidate and Trump's nominee as Housing and Urban Development Secretary, during his Senate hearing.

Meanwhile, TIME reported that Trump has invited some of his former critics in the Christian community to take part in his inauguration. The weekly magazine found out that Rev. Sam Rodriguez Jr. is expected to stand on the inaugural platform together with Trump and proclaim Jesus' famous words from the Sermon on the Mount: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

He will be joined by Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York, who is expected to read aloud a passage from Solomon's prayer to God when he became king of Israel. "Even one who is perfect among human beings will be regarded as nothing without the wisdom that comes from you," the passage reads.

Both Rodriguez and Dolan were known Trump critics during his campaign.

6 Strong & Critical Signs Biafra May Come To Pass 2017

The resolve of pro-Biafrans have grown stronger over the years, and below are 6 crucial reasons why they stand a chance to actualize the dream that was born over 50-years ago.

1. IT IS LEGAL

When a people believe that they have been oppressed for too long, and cannot remain as part of the community in which they thrive, its is their right to request that they be set apart from the parent group.

There are justified reasons for secession, especially if it has to do with rectifying grave injustices, and violence is not involved in the process.

The pro-Biafra agitators are of the believe that they have a legal right to demand an exit, and they have continued to push vehemently for that which they believe in.

2. FOREIGN COUNTRIES SUPPORT

Just few months back, the struggle for the actualisation of a sovereign state of Biafra received a massive boost following the reported visit of a Phillippian envoy to Imo state.

According to Vanguard, the Phillippian Senate president’s aide, Lady Cynthia Esgurrna Touraha, was a guest of Imo Bilie Initiative (IBI) a non-governmental organization that is also strongly behind the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPO getting justice in an Owerri high court.

The Phillippian was to witness the court proceedings on Thursday, March 31, 2016, in the suit filed by IBI against the federal government.

The president of IBI, Innocent Amadi, who spoke with journalists in Imo state, informed that the visitor was in the court to witness the day’s proceedings.

He said: "We were at the Federal High Court, Owerri, to keep our date, but we were told that the court always enjoyed one week break after the Easter festivities. Our case has been adjourned to May 2, 2016.

"We shall employ legal framework and diplomatic channels in fighting for the sovereign state of Biafra."

With more support such as this, the push for Biafra may not be a far cry.

3. INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION LENDING THEIR VOICES

In 2015, the Organization of Emerging African States (OEAS), expressed its support to Biafra’s immediate from Nigeria, simultaneously presenting a list of demands to the Nigeria federal government.

The Organization that promotes self-determination and the end to colonial era boundaries in Africa has declared its support to the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSO and its adherents in a letter to the Nigeria federal government.

“Today the people of Biafra are locked in an emerging struggle with the Nigeria federal government, the inevitable result of which will be self-determination for Biafra. Unfortunately the Nigerian government has resorted to summary execution and detention of Biafran patriots. The situation will surely escalate unless immediate action is taken."

Asides the OEAS, many other groups have spoken in favour of the pro-Biafra agitators, and many more are still speaking for the course. Many are also listening to the pleas of the pro-Biafrans.

4. THE POWER IN NUMBERS

Without a doubt, there is a massive growth in size as regards pro-Biafra agitators and pro-Biafra groups.

Some argue that having too many groups might be a problem in itself, this is based on the theory that too many hands spoil the stew.

However, there is straight in numbers and the pro-Biafrans are using this mightily. As the numbers swell, confidence is built stronger and with such confidence, they say "victory is certain".

5. ALIGNING NIGER DELTA MILITANTS AND THE SOUTH SOUTH SUPPORT

Not too long ago, the IPOB, stated that Biafraland is not only the areas inhabited by the Igbo-speaking people of the country.

The IPOB claimed that Biafra spans from Itsekiriland on the western boundary with Oduduwa to Bakassi on the eastern boundary with the Cameroons, and also stretches from Idoma and Igala land on the northern boundary with Northern Nigeria to the Bight of Biafra which is South of the island of Bonny.

In a statement by the spokespersons of IPOB, Emma Nmezu and Dr. Clifford Chukwuemeka Iroanya, the pro-Biafra group pointed out that "in the present-day Nigeria, Biafra consists of Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, and Rivers states as well as Igbanke in Edo state, Igala in Kogi state, and Idoma in Benue state."

It said the above revelation showed that Biafra is not populated by the Igbo-speaking people, adding that the last head of state and commander-in-chief of Biafra was not from the Igbo-speaking area of Biafraland.

Similarly, MASSOB pledged its total allegiance to the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), along with other pro-Biafra groups operating in the Niger Delta region.

The Niger Delta Avengers has carried out a series of bombings in the Niger Delta region and also threatened to assassinate President Muhammadu Buhari if he visited Ogoniland in Rivers state.

Along with pledging allegiance to the militants, MASSOB also demanded the release of Radio Biafra Director Nnamdi Kanu.

A few months back, Comrade Joseph Evah, the national coordinator of the Ijaw Monitoring Group, said that the Niger Delta people were against the Igbos during the civil war but are now ready to support them in their agitation for an independent Biafra state.

In an interview with Vanguard, Evah said the Niger Delta people made amends by participating in the burial of the late Chief Chukwuemeka Ojukwu who championed the Biafra civil war.

He said the Igbos had forgiven the Niger Delta people which was why they were supporting them in their agitation.

If the aliance work, then the Biafra agitators might have found an answer to the questions they seek.

6. PEACEFUL, SIMPLE BUT TACTICAL APPROACH

In more recent times, secession has been approached from a no violence angle, the less report of violence by prio-Biafrans is a testimony to the fact that other very smart means are currently being employed to see that the dream is achieved.

Recently, the European Union (EU) said that though it holds strong diplomatic and economic relationship with Nigeria, the “protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms remains a priority for the EU and we encourage the authorities [Nigeria] in every occasion to respect such rights.”

The EU went on to caution the OEAS and Biafran that the push for self-determination and border changes must be carried out within the ambits of established international law.

Heavy Embarrassment As Delta State Traditional Rulers Walk Out On Osinbajo

Emerging reports suggest that traditional rulers in Delta state stormed out of a peace meeting with Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo on Monday, January 16.

According to a Tweet by TVC News Senior Correspondent, Sumner Shagari Sambo, the traditional rulers walked out from the peace meeting with Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo at Effurun, Delta state.

Vanguard reports that it was a hectic one-day visit to Delta State for Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, as he witnessed the explosive nature of the region, with the Ijaw and Itsekiri ethnic groups disagreeing on the ownership of the site of the Nigerian Maritime University, NMU, Okerenkoko, whose take-off is a major demand by the Ijaw of Gbaramatu Kingdom.

Prof Osinbajo also found himself in another tight spot when monarchs, who waited for several hours for his arrival at the Petroleum Training Institute, PTI, Conference Hall, Effurun, got tired and angrily stormed out of the venue.

The appearance of the Vice President, who made an emergency landing at about 5p.m. with his chief host, the governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, moments after they staged a walk out, did not persuade some of the monarchs from returning, but security operatives locked the entrance, stopping their drivers from leaving the premises.

Some reluctantly returned in the circumstance. Osinbajo was accompanied on the visit by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, Coordinator, Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP and Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Matters, Brig-Gen. Paul Boroh (retd.) and others.

Governor Okowa led the state delegation, which included his deputy, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, while the co-chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Amanyanabo of Twon Brass, HRM Alfred Diete-Spiff, led the former Minister of Police Affairs, Alaowei Brodrick Bozimo, Pastor Power Aginighan and HRH Anabs Sara Igbe to the event. Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa (left) receiving the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, during his one day working visit to Delta state, at Osubi Airport.

At the troubled Gbaramatu Kingdom, in Warri South-West Local Government Area, the people complained that they have become more endangered and estranged by the current Nigerian state, calling on the Federal Government to reconcile them back to the national union.

The Vice President, who touched down at Oporoza onboard a Nigerian Navy 231 helicopter, at about 1209hrs, first held closed door talks with the Pere (King) of Gbaramatu, HRM Oboro Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba and his Council of Chiefs as well as host governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, among other stakeholders before an open and broader open air interaction.

*WOMAN*
When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day.......

An angel came by and asked." Why spend so much time on her?"

The lord answered. "Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?"

●She must function on all kinds of situations.
●She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time.
●Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart.
●She must do all this with only two hands.
●She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day.

THE ANGEL was impressed" Just two hands.....impossible!

And this is the standard model?"

The Angel came closer and touched the woman.
"But you have made her so soft, Lord".
"She is soft", said the Lord,
"But I have made her strong. You can't imagine what she can endure and overcome"

"Can she think?" The Angel asked...
The Lord answered. "Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate".

The Angel touched her cheeks....
"Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her".
"She is not leaking...it is a tear". The Lord corrected the Angel…

"What's it for?" Asked the Angel..... .
The Lord said. "Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride."...

This made a big impression on the Angel,
"Lord, you are a genius. You thought of everything.
A woman is indeed marvellous"

Lord said ."Indeed she is.
■She has strength that amazes a man.
■She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
■She holds happiness, love and opinions.
■She smiles when she feels like screaming.
■She sings when she feels like crying, cries when happy and laughs when afraid.
■She fights for what she believes in.
■Her love is unconditional.
■Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies but she finds strength to get on with life"

The Angel asked: So she is a perfect being?
The lord replied: No. She has just one drawback.
"She often forgets what she is worth".

Send it to all the women u respect ....
