Sources: U.S. intel warning of possible al Qaeda attacks in U.S. Monday

NEW YORK -- CBS News has learned about a potential terror threat for the day before the election.

Sources told CBS News senior investigative producer Pat Milton that U.S. intelligence has alerted joint terrorism task forces that al Qaeda could be planning attacks in three states for Monday.

It is believed New York, Texas and Virginia are all possible targets, though no specific locations are mentioned. A U.S. law enforcement source briefed on the threat information told CBS News’ Milton that the threat is possibly legitimate and concerning. The source said the threat may be aspirational and hence the lack of specificity. The source said there has been pressure on al Qaeda and its affiliates AQAP and AQIS (al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent) to regain relevance with its mission.

U.S. authorities are taking the threat seriously, though the sources stress the intelligence is still being assessed and its credibility hasn’t been confirmed. Counterterrorism officials were alerted to the threat out of abundance of caution.

“While we do not comment on intelligence matters, we will say the counterterrorism and homeland security communities remain vigilant and well-postured to defend against attacks here in the United States,” a U.S. intelligence official told CBS News. “The FBI and DHS, working with our federal, state and local counterparts, share and assess intelligence on a daily basis and will continue to work closely with law enforcement and intelligence community partners to identify and disrupt any potential threat to public safety.

“As we have long said, in this environment, homegrown violent extremists could strike with little or no notice. Our concern that violent extremists could be inspired to conduct attacks inside the U.S. have not diminished.

“The public should expect to continue to observe an increased law enforcement and security presence across communities in public places. Our law enforcement community also continues to take action against those who attempt to engage in activities that could put Americans at risk. There are more than 100 Joint Terrorism Task Forces at work across the country in partnership with state and local law enforcement to prevent attacks in the homeland.”

The New York Police Department said it was working with intelligence agencies and the Joint Terrorism Task Force, according to the Reuters news agency.

Intelligence about potential threats always increases during holiday seasons and when big events are approaching.

As Election Day nears, federal law enforcement is planning for several worst-case scenarios.

Earlier this week, an alert warned local police of “polling places” being seen as “attractive targets” for “lone wolf”-type attacks by individuals motivated by violent extremist ideologies, sovereign citizen or other extremist activity.

FBI Director James Comey made the announcement in a letter last Friday afternoon that the bureau will be reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s illegal use of a private email server.

Two days later, the FBI opened a second investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

As on November 4th, we have reports that two more investigations have been opened by the FBI. The third investigation spawned from WikiLeaks releasing thousands emails and documents purporting that the Clinton Foundation was linked to child exploitation and Jeffrey Epstein.

The fourth investigation entails the IRS reviewing the Clinton Foundation for tax evasion, money laundering, and many other things.

BREAKING: President Bush Getting Involved In Hillary’s FBI Email Investigation!


We know now that President George H.W. Bush is voting for Hillary Clinton, and we also know President George W. Bush ISN’T voting for Trump. Now the chief ethics lawyer under George W. Bush has filed an ethics complaint against FBI Director James Comey.

In an op-ed published in The New York Times, Richard W. Painter writes that he filed a complaint against the FBI for violating the Hatch Act, “which bars the use of an official position to influence an election.” He filed the complaint with both the Office of Special Counsel and the Office of Government Ethics.

Painter, who was the head White House ethics lawyer between 2005 and 2007 and now supports Hillary Clinton, says Comey violated the Hatch Act when he sent the letter to lawmakers on Friday informing them of the newly discovered emails. “This letter, which was quickly posted on the internet, made highly unusual public statements about an FBI investigation concerning a candidate in the election,” writes Painter. “The letter was sent in violation of a longstanding Justice Department policy of not discussing specifics about pending investigations with others, including members of Congress.”

Painter also warns that letting this precedent stand would be dangerous:

“This is no trivial matter. We cannot allow FBI or Justice Department officials to unnecessarily publicize pending investigations concerning candidates of either party while an election is underway. That is an abuse of power. Allowing such a precedent to stand will invite more, and even worse, abuses of power in the future.”

This tactic of intimidating judges handling this case and subversion of justice must be resisted by all men and women of good conscience. Judges who cannot be compromised and at various times ruled against Buhari's interest are facing corruption charges while those mired in corrupt practices whilst presiding over cases for Buhari, like the epitome of corruption and disgrace to the legal profession, Justice John Tsoho are still allowed to preside over cases while fearless judges have been barred from handling courts cases.
Justice Binta Nyako was sighted on Friday the 4th of November 2016 in good health. If she fails to turn up to preside over the hearing tomorrow the 8th of November 2016, the world should know that Buhari has succeeded through his DSS to intimidate this woman the way they intimidated and compromised John Tsoho the previous judge.

According to sources with the FBI, it is being heavily reported that FBI Director James Comey has ordered all agents in the Washington D.C. field office and Hoover Building headquarters to report to work immediately Friday morning.

“We’re preparing for many arrests from the top down,” an FBI source stated. “I cannot elaborate beyond that.”

When the FBI source was asked to elaborate on what he meant by “from the top down,” he added, “You’re a smart guy; read between the lines.”

FBI protocol indicates that two scenarios could be unfolding in this situation: The FBI is either preparing to obtain search warrants where they will search any and everything dealing with the Clinton Foundation or they are preparing to make arrests on any and all individuals involved.

Or, they are preparing to carry out both actions. We cannot confirm what documents the FBI has, but an FBI source has indicated that they are preparing to make arrests in the coming days.

We are unsure if that means Hillary Clinton, but we are confident that many of her cronies will be arrested and charged with several crimes in the coming days.

At this moment, here is a list of the crimes Hillary Clinton and her team are being investigated for by the FBI:

Money laundering
Child exploitation
Sex crimes with minors (children)
Perjury
Pay to play through Clinton Foundation
Obstruction of justice
Other felony crimes

The FBI would not open several investigations weeks before a presidential election unless the evidence was overwhelming.

For the first time in American politics, it appears that no one is too big to jail–even a Clinton.

Sources with with the FBI are indicating that orders have come down from the very top that they will be taking actions immediately against Hillary Clinton, her team, and her foundation. Charges for these crimes would result in long prison sentences as well as hefty fines. They would also result in Hillary Clinton losing this election in a complete landslide.

We very well may see Hillary Clinton arrested by the FBI in the coming days.

Retired Navy SEAL Erik Prince in an interview with Breitbart News Daily on Sirius XM radio said that “the NYPD wanted to do a press conference announcing the warrants and the additional arrests they were making” in the Anthony Weiner investigation.

However, according to a “well placed source” connection in the NYPD, they received “huge pushback” from the Justice Department.

Sirius XM host Alex Marlow began the interview asking if Prince believes the report which claims there is a 99 percent chance that multiple agencies hacked Hillary Clinton’s email server.

“Sure, I mean, it’s not like the foreign intelligence agencies leave a thank-you note after they’ve hacked and stolen your data,” Prince replied.

Prince then gave his insights into why FBI Director James Comey felt the need to announce last week that the FBI was reopening the Clinton email case.



“Because of Weinergate and the sexting scandal, the NYPD started investigating it,” Prince explained. “Through a subpoena, through a warrant, they searched his laptop, and sure enough, found those 650,000 emails They found way more stuff than just more information pertaining to the inappropriate sexting the guy was doing.”

“They found State Department emails,” he continued. “They found a lot of other really damning criminal information, including money laundering, including the fact that Hillary went to this sex island with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Bill Clinton went there more than 20 times. Hillary Clinton went there at least six times.”

Prince said the NYPD was disgusted by the large amount of criminal activity found in the emails and pushed for further action to be taken.

“The amount of garbage that they found in these emails, of criminal activity by Hillary, by her immediate circle, and even by other Democratic members of Congress was so disgusting they gave it to the FBI, and they said, ‘We’re going to go public with this if you don’t reopen the investigation and you don’t do the right thing with timely indictments,'” Prince explained.

“There’s five different parts of the FBI conducting investigations into these things, with constant downdrafts from the Obama Justice Department. So in the, I hope, unlikely and very unfortunate event that Hillary Clinton is elected president, we will have a constitutional crisis that we have not seen since, I believe, 1860,” Prince declared.

“Wow, so you’re saying that the NYPD is readying more warrants, they believe there’ll be indictments coming down the pike very soon … let’s recap, what are the key details that you’re breaking here at Breitbart News Daily?” Marlow asked.

“NYPD was the first one to look at that laptop,” Prince said. “Weiner and Huma Abedin, his wife – the closest adviser of Hillary Clinton for 20 years – have both flipped. They are cooperating with the government. They both have – they see potential jail time of many years for their crimes, for Huma Abedin sending and receiving and even storing hundreds of thousands of messages from the State Department server and from Hillary Clinton’s own homebrew server, which contained classified information. Weiner faces all kinds of exposure for the inappropriate sexting that was going on and for other information that they found.”

“So NYPD first gets that computer. They see how disgusting it is. They keep a copy of everything, and they pass a copy on to the FBI, which finally pushes the FBI off their chairs, making Comey reopen that investigation, which was indicated in the letter last week,” Prince said.

“The point being, NYPD has all the information, and they will pursue justice within their rights if the FBI doesn’t,” Prince contended.

He noted a popular misconception that the FBI can indict or file charges, explaining the responsibility is in the hand’s of the Justice Department.

“The prosecutors, the Justice Department has to do that,” he explained. “Now, as I understand it, Preet Bharara, the Manhattan prosecutor, has gotten ahold of some of this. From what I hear, he’s a stand-up guy, and hopefully he does the right thing.”

“The Justice Department is trying to run out the clock, to elect Hillary Clinton, to prevent any real justice from being done,” Prince cautioned.

He then acknowledged that in addition to Weiner, his estranged wife Huma Abedin was also probably looking at some amount of jail time unless she cut a deal.

“There’s a minimum of obstruction of justice and all kinds of unlawful handling of classified information,” he said. “Because remember, this laptop was in the possession of Weiner, who did not have a security clearance. And many, many of those emails were from her Yahoo account, which had State Department emails forwarded to them, so she could easier print these messages, scan them, and send them on to Hillary.”

“That’s the carelessness that Hillary and her staff had for the classified information that the intelligence community risks life and limb to collect in challenged, opposed areas around the world.”

Prince concluded, “That’s not who you want in the White House.”

BREAKING: Boko Haram Attacks 119 Battalion In Borno, Kill Lt. Colonel & 4 Soldiers

Boko Haram terrorists, on Friday at about 10.00pm attacked 119 Battalion Nigerian Army location at Mallam Fatori, northern Borno State, killing one officer and four soldiers.

A statement by the Army Spokesman, Sani Usman said four other soldiers sustained injuries in the attack.

Usman, however, said that the troops fought gallantly and repelled the attack, killing 14 of the insurgents..

The statement reads, ”Unfortunately, we lost an officer and 4 soldiers, while 4 other soldiers sustained various degrees of injuries during the encounter. One of those killed in action, was Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Abu Ali, the Commanding Officer of 272 Task Force Tank Battalion.

It would be recalled that because of the late senior officer’s exceptional bravery and gallantry, he was given an accelerated promotion from the rank of Major to Lieutenant Colonel and was decorated by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General TY Buratai at Gamboru Ngala on 9th September, 2015 during an operational visit.

”So far, the troops have recovered 1 General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG), 7 AK-47 rifles and a large quantity of ammunition. Mopping up and exploitation are ongoing,” Usman disclosed
