Nigerian Soldiers have vented that the Chief Of Army Staff LT Gen. Tukur Buratai is hijacking their allowances. In a statement obtained by NEWSMEN they said:

“It’s worrisome to note that the Chief of Army staff hijacked it’s own personnel allowances.”

Soldiers have complained about their allowances and how some Army Generals with the collaboration of Chief of Army Staff LT Gen TY Buratai are misappropriating their allowances for personal use. They said this is weakening the morale of their colleagues who are now in foreign missions in both Liberia and Mali, because they have known that their colleagues in Nigeria are not yet paid.

The soldiers complained that out of the allowances that are meant to be given for the complete duration of their stayed mission, only half had given to them both Liberia, Sudan and Mali troops after they came back.

Sadly, the Chief of Army staff didn’t bother about whether they had been paid after their rotations, only bothering about his pocket.

The soldiers further lamented that “how would soldiers that went for foreign missions and came back not have their allowances converted to personal use?” The soldiers are using their own money to buy uniforms, drugs and other things, if the Army can’t provide these then why are allowances meant for soldiers being misappropriated?

The soldiers further said that there was no significant change between the past administration and this Buhari’s government. The only difference is that during the Jonathan time the Nigerian Army paid complete allowances for Mission but now half payment. And never in the history of foreign missions, The United Nations paid the Nigerian contingent incomplete or half payment.

The soldiers also appealed to the COAS to take notes on the welfare and allowances of personnel especially in the war front because failure to do that would cause Chaos.

BIAFRA: THE TIME FOR BIAFRA RESTORATION IS NOW, WE MUST MAKE IT HAPPEN

It is indisputable to all and sundry that Biafrans worldwide are peaceful and law abiding. We hustle day and night to provide for our families, we are not a lazy people. We are known for our generosity and hardwork in any country of the world that we find ourselves.

Every Biafran is no longer comfortable with the way we are being maltreated in Nigeria. The quest for Biafra restoration started many years back.
On various occasions, we have protested even as we being shot and killed in our numbers. Just between 2015/2016 alone, over 500 Biafrans have been shot dead by the Nigeria security forces. What have we done to deserve all this?

We have asked for a referendum, yet no one listened to us. We have done everything humanly possible to go back to our dearly nation Biafra, yet the fantastically corrupt Nigerian politicians are hell bent on protecting their business enterprise. In addition, we have observed a One Day sit at home protest which really affected Nigeria, showing how resolute and united we are to restore our father land.

Many Biafrans in both Nigeria and Biafra land have been arrested and murdered cold bloodedly, yet, to the international community, it looks like Christmas goats are being killed. The numbers of our kidnapped members are uncountable, and many more are still being kidnapped.
Just recently, our members who gathered to have their family meeting in Bayelsa State Biafra land were kidnapped by the Nigeria Army officials and were taking to an unknown destination where they had planned to kill all of them, thanks to the timely intervention of IPOB.

Is it a crime for an indigenous people to meet and discuss issues at hand? IPOB family is a known and registered organization worldwide. These people who were kidnapped were not protesting, neither were they found in possession of any illegal material. Why should they be arrested for nothing sake? Many of them are graduates yet no jobs were offered to them. Now they have chosen to work for their nation Biafra, why have Nigeria decided to arrest them.

Our hearts is longing for Biafra, and Biafra we shall get. Even at a gun point, we shall never denounce the land we love and cherish. No amount of intimidations or kidnapping will make us to surrender or retreat because Biafra is our heritage and we are ever ready to defend her integrity.

We are the children of the most high God, created on the sixth day of his creation just like every other human, yet we are being regarded and treated as animals in Nigeria.

We must restore Biafra now or never no matter the price to be paid for the betterment of our born and unborn children.
We want to make hay while the sun still shines because there is time for everything and the time for Biafra restoration is finally here, we must make it happen.
Forward Ever,
Backward Never.

Why we have to increase fuel price again – President Buhari
Why we have to increase fuel price again - President Buhari

President Buhari and NNPC has said the current market price of N145 per liter is no longer sustainable.

Both the President and NNPC admitted that oil marketers were reluctant to import fuel because they would be selling at a loss.

Speaking in Lagos at the 2016 Oil Trading and Logistics (OTL) Conference, the President, ably represented by the Group General Manager, Crude Oil Marketing Division at the NNPC, Mr. Mele Kyari, said there was no way petrol would continue to be sold at the current pump price.

Kyari however added that President Buhari is yet to make up his mind on whether to increase fuel prize or not.

According to him, legislation by the National Assembly would be required for petrol to be sold above N145 per liter.

He said some suppliers had already stopped importation because of the current pricing regime.

“We have a very difficult business environment.

“It is impossible today to import products at the current market price – at the current foreign exchange rate.

“There is no way today you can take the product to retail and sell at N145. It is not possible today.

“If that is true and I believe that it is true because we all go to the market, why can’t we sell above N145?

“I also know today that it is impossible for this government to announce tomorrow that petrol is about N150.

“The people will not take that number. That is why suppliers are not importing,” he added.

“It problem here is not FX. We have created a niche market for FX.

“I am part of the committee that allocates FX to marketers.

“But it is rejected, and the reason being given is that the FX is not enough to import. But that is not the truth,” he said.

“Today, are we in a subsidy regime? Absolutely.

“There is no way you can bring products today and take it and sell at N145 and get back your money, and make a profit.

“That is not possible.

Oh No! Recession: Multi-National Oil Companies Sack 3,000 Workers, Pull Out Of Nigeria.
26th October 2016
A call has gone out to the government to rescue oil workers in Nigeria as most multinational companies are sacking its staff

over the prevailing harsh economic situation. A 21-day ultimatum has been issued by the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers on Wednesday to the Federal Government, urging it to stop the ongoing mass sacking and retrenchment of workers by some international oil companies operating in the country.

The ultimatum was issued on Wednesday by the National President of NUPENG, Mr. Igwe Achese, at the end of a meeting of the Central Working Committee of the union held in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to Achese, many oil companies, including Chevron, ExxonMobil, Pan Ocean and Ground Petroleum, among others, were leaving the country following the prevailing economic recession, which has led to the sacking of about 3,000 oil workers.

He regretted Federal Government’s reluctance to stop the ongoing massive retrenchment in the sector, as many oil workers have been sacked by their employers leaving them to suffer. “It is painful to say as I address you, Chevron has wound up in the East and their offices closed. A total of 1,500 workers were sacked without their entitlements and nobody is saying anything.

As we speak, many companies have left and many others are winding up to go. “Many oil companies are winding up, including ExxonMobil, Pan Ocean, Sapiem Ground Petroleum, and Hercules Offshore Nigeria Limited. About 3,000 workers have already been sacked by the various oil companies.

“The Federal Government should act fast to avert further loss of jobs. There is too much redundancy in the oil industry, which needs urgent action from government to salvage the situation,” Achese said.

Muslims in Iraq, around the area of Adra al-Ummaliya, committed a horrific massacre. They took six men and cooked them alive in a giant oven, they then took 250 small children and forced them into a large dough kneading machine and kneaded them alive; they executed hundreds more and also roamed the streets and butchered any Christians they found. A woman who survived the massacre was interviewed and you can watch it here:

Here is the report:

A Syrian woman has recounted the horrifying details of how Islamic State jihadis killed hundreds of children in her village and executed her son after he refused to deny his faith in Jesus Christ.

During an interview with the Southern California-based human rights group Roads of Success, Syrian mother Alice Assaf, who hails from the Damascus suburb of Adra al-Ummaliya, described how militants aligned with IS came into her town over two years ago and went on a ruthless and barbaric killing spree.

According to Assaf, the militants took over her town around 6 a.m. on a day in which her husband was out of town in Damascus.

“Members of 200 different families were killed right before our eyes,” Assaf said, according to an English translation provided by Roads of Success in a YouTube video. “They shot them. We witnessed the shooting of so many. So I told my children [and thought] it was better for us to die in our own home so that our other family members would know our fate. When we got home, one person said to me, … ‘ISIS is killing Christians.'”

She said the militants first massacred Christians and then went after Syrian army personnel.

But instead of staying in their own home initially, a neighbor offered to let Assaf and her children stay in her house for a night.

“We [stayed] with them for a short time then we decided to run away. I pleaded with a Muslim neighbor to save us in any way possible. He agreed to help me and watched the road for an opportunity to escape but the road was never safe enough,” Assaf explained. “Passersby were systematically killed. So we stayed with our neighbor.”

It was a bit later on that Assaf received news that the militants had massacred at least six men and about 250 children at a nearby bakery.

“Later on, we heard that the militants grabbed six strong men working at the bakery and burned them inside the oven,” she explained. “After that, they caught some 250 kids and kneaded them like dough in the bakery dough machine.”

Fulani herdsmen invade Enugu community kill two, 19 missing On February 14, pm In News, By Chinenyeh ozor Nsukka- Anxiety and confusion has enveloped Abbi Community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Enugu State, following the invasion of the area by Fulani herdsmen who unleashed mayhem on the people, killing a brother and sister apart from razing down about seven houses and several motorcycles. Herdsmen... as death merchants Herdsmen… as death merchants Altogether, 19 persons were declared missing in the community even as several others were also wounded with machetes by the invaders. It was gathered that the Fulani herdsmen numbering over 30 emerged from the bush, and began to attack the people in the community last Thursday, killing their victims and maiming others with machetes before fleeing into the bush unharmed. The two relations who were killed were identified as Fidelis Okeja, 45, and his sister Mercy, 50. Fidelis and Mercy were sitting outside their compound around 6.30pm discussing when suddenly, about 30 masked Fulani herdsmen emerged from nowhere and them instantly. They later went ahead and attacked other members of the community with machetes, burnt some houses before retreating into the bush. Investigations by Vanguard, revealed that sporadic shooting by the suspected Fulani herdsmen sent shivers into the inhabitants of other parts of the community who scampered for safety amid confusion. A reliable source in the community said that the people were taken unawares by Fulani herdsmen, adding that the police and members of the local vigilante group were yet to respond to cries of the people before the invaders escaped into the bush. ‘’The most worrisome aspect of the Fulani invasion of the community was that about 19 people are still missing as nobody can give account of them. Those missing were last seen on the fateful day. The community formed search parties in groups, combing bushes within and outside the community for days now, yet no sign of success has been recorded,’’ he noted. ‘’We have lodged formal complaint at both Adani police station and Police Area Command Nsukka, but no arrests have been made over the matter. The Fulani herdsmen were armed to the teeth with dangerous weapons when they invaded us. “Two people killed while 19 missing, several others brutalised with deep machete cuts now lying critical down at different hospitals. “The corpses of the deceased Fidelis and Mercy have been deposited at Bishop Sanahan Hospital, Nsukka while the search for the missing 19 people continues,” he said. A senior officer at the Police Area Command, Nsukka who spoke on the condition of anonymity confirmed the story describing the attack on Abbi community as pathetic and sorrowful as two biological relations were killed and several others wounded,” among others He, however, said that full scale investigations has commenced to unravel the circumstances surrounding the barbaric attack on the community. The Officer, however, said that the police were yet to receive the report of missing persons in the community on the account of the incident, but appealed to the community not to take laws into their hands by engaging in reprisal attack. Meanwhile, a team of anti-riot policemen has been drafted to the community to beef up security in the area and beyond.
