At a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari
and other top government officials on Tuesday,
representatives of the Niger Delta region of Nigeria
presented 16 points they believe should be
considered by the government and implemented to
end militancy in the region and boost development.
The presidential amnesty Programme: the decry that
out of the five components of the disarmament and
retrieval of weapons from the ex-militants, only the
disarmament and demobilisation component is being
implemented. Tensions over the fate of the Niger
Delta Amnesty Programme is as a result of lack of
genuine exit strategy. They want the Programme
reviewed to reappraise its core mandate to provide a
robust exist strategy, in order to transit recipients into
jobs, effectively integrate them and few the of
dependency on stipends, so that their new-found
skills would be of benefit to themselves and larger
community.
Law and Justice issues: in view of the insecurity
situation in the Niger delta, a number of pending law
and justice issues regarding some aggrieved groups
and individuals are yet to be resolved. It is important
to address these issues urgently as a step towards
lasting peace.
The effect of increased military presence in the Niger
Delta: the increased in military presence has resulted
in invasion of communities, displacement of persons,
harassment and other firms of human rights abuse.
They want government to halt the the escalation of
tension in the region.
Plights of internally displaced persons: they want
relevant government agencies to take urgent
measures to meet their immediate needs of those
displaced by upsurge of insecurity in the region.
The Ogoni clean-up and environmental remediation:
they want government to speed up the exercise. They
want government to enforce zero gas flare deadline.
They want the devastating effects of coastal erosion
and lack of an effective shoreline protection for the
coastal communities tackled urgently. They ask
federal government to commission a region-wide
credible assessment of the impacts of crude oil
pollution of the environment in the region and
undertake to enforce environmental laws.
The Maritime University Issue: want prompt take off
of the Niger Delta university
Key regional critical infrastructure: they want
completion of of East-West road, full implementation
of the rail project that is designated to run through the
Niger Delta region to Lagos.
Security surveillance and protection of oil and gas
infrastructure. They want pipeline surveillance
contracts given to the communities rather than
individuals in a manner that is some benefits to their
responsibility. Communities would the see their
responsibility over the pipelines as protection of what
belongs to them.
Relocation of Administrative and Operational
Headquarters of IOCs: the headquarters of most oil
companies are not located in the Niger Delta Region.
As a result the region is denies all the developmental
and associated benefits that would have accrued to
the region from their presence. It has therefore
become imperative for the IOCs to relocate to their
areas of operation. This move will create a mutually
beneficial relationship with the host communities.
10: Power supply: they advocate a power plan
that strongly ties power supply in the region to
gas supplies, thereby giving all sides a stake in
proved stability.
Economic development and empowerment: they want
Brass LNG and fertiliser plant project including the
Train 7 implemented, reviewing and updating the
national gas master plan to integrate the economic
interests and industrialization of the region, creating a
Niger Dekta industrial corridor that would process
some portions of the bat hydrocarbon natural
resources, expediting work on the export processing
zones, harnessing the huge rain-fed agricultural
potentials of the area through the development of
farms estates, fishery development projects and
Agro-Allied industrial clusters etc.
Inclusive participation in oil industry and ownership of
oil blocs. They want the federal government to
enunciate policies and actions that will address the
lack of participation as well as imbalance in the
ownership of oil and gas assets.
Restructuring and funding of the NDDC: The
restructuring will ensure it refocuses as a true
interventionist agency to respond swiftly to the
yearnings of the grassroots of the Niger Delta.
Communities must be able to have a say in what
projects come to them and also want full
implementation of the funding provisions of the NDDC
Act.
Strengthening the Niger Delta Ministry: they say the
era of abysmal funding should end. The ministry
should be adequately funded and strengthen to fulfill
the purpose for which it was created.
The Bakassi Question, recommend a comprehensive
resettlement plan including development for the host
communities and displaced population to reduce the
risk of making the into a stateless people.
Fiscal federalism, the region supports the call for true
federalism and urged that federal government should
treat the matter expeditiously.

UNESCO Does it Again…Should We Be Surprised

UNESCO is on a roll and continues to pass resolutions aimed at undermining the Jewish conenction to the Land of Israel. The latest resolution passed today refers to Jerusalem in connection to Islam only roiling the Israeli government.

Danny Danon, the Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations said the following:

“UNESCO embarrassed itself by marching to the tune of the Palestinian pipers. All attempts to deny our heritage, distort history and disconnect the Jewish people from our capital and our homeland are doomed to fail.”

The real question is not if the UNESCO vote matters or has teeth, none of these don’t, but with the voting membership clearly Arab what kind of impact does a clearly rigged vote really have?

One possiblity is that it lays the groundwork for the UN Security Council to take decisive action after the Novemebr 8th election. With 13 days and counting the UNESCO resolutions maybe the ammunition Obama will use to justify a non-veto in the Security Council.

Britain Mobilizes Against Russia

As tensions continue to rise between Russia and the West, Great Britain is moving 800 troops and tanks to the Russian border with Estonia. Although the numbers seem small, they are in fact the largest NATO deployment since the Cold War. As Putin continues to assert his influence in Eastern Ukraine and the Syrian conflict places both super powers on opposite sides of the war, the chances for direct conflict between Russia and the USA increase daily.

The real question is what kind of deployment and why is Britain making it now. Observers know Putin is paranoid about NATO’s continued expansion and for good reason. Eastern Europe has always been seen as falling into the Russian sphere of influence. With Ukraine being the Russian line in the sand, Britain and other NATO members are making sure Putin won’t use Estonia as another front. Yet, there may be another reason altogether. NATO knows war is coming as does Russia, yet neither one wants to be blamed for being the belligerent party. Placing troops in Estonia could be NATO’s way of baiting Putin to make his first move.

Whether a plan for more or just defending the rest of Europe, Britain’s deployment is a sign that things are not going to calm down anytime soon.

“Black Sea a Russian Lake”

To the South, the Black Sea has virtually been taken over by Russia with Turkey even calling it a Russian lake. Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey are busy putting together a plan to increase naval and air patrols in the area, as well as a multinational NATO brigade in Romania.

With Russia pulling out of international nuclear treaties 2 months ago and moving nuclear missiles forward to its border, the West has been left to scramble to try putting togther a coherent policy. Without clear American leadership it is assumed that Russia will continue to dominate the region and keep its global influence growing.

Near the community of Pnei Hever/Maale Hever Arab terrorists burned down a prayer site and memorial known as Mitzpe Ziv dedicated to two young men killed 13 years ago mistakenly by the IDF.

Once a week families of the fallen boys and local residents would spend the sunrise in prayer and rememberence at the very site where they were killed. Activists and family members added olive trees, stone benches, and walls the site over the years. Recently, the local government even built a stone pergula over the site for Sukkot.

This morning was set to start like all the others until family members and residents arrived and saw that local Arabs had burned down the site, including the large olive tree planted in the boys’ memory. The attack set back years of work and created intense anguish for the families that were present.

“The families spent the morning contacting the army and police instead of spending time in prayer and remembering their sons. This should not have happened,” said Gidon Ariel, a resident of the nearby community of Maale Hever and founder of Root-Source.

Listen to Full Interview with Gidon Ariel below:

Head of Maale Hever’s community council Yigal Klein said the following: “Maale Hever is shocked at the burning down of Mitzpe Ziv. We need to continue to strengthen the area and make sure that permanent buildings are put there.”

Suspected militants have bombed a state-run oil
pipeline near the southern Nigerian oil hub of Warri in
the latest blow to the industry, a security source and
community leader said Wednesday.
The Trans Forcados export line was attacked late
Tuesday, they said, just hours after President
Muhammadu Buhari met with representatives of
militant groups in the oil-rich Niger delta to discuss
how to end the unrest plaguing the region.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s
attack.
“The attack was carried out with the aid of dynamite
and it is coming less than 48 hours after the
resumption of operations at the flow station,” a
security official, who declined to be named, told AFP.
The pipeline was attacked in July and had only
resumed operation at the weekend following repairs.
Dickson Ogugu, chairman of Batan community where
the pipeline is based, confirmed the incident, saying a
surveillance team had identified the site of the attack.
“The entire river is flooded with contents from the
damaged trunkline and we are at the receiving end.”
The line is operated by the Pipelines and Product
Marketing Company (PPMC) and receives crude from
Batan near Warri.
Since February, several militant groups have attacked
oil facilities, slashing the nation’s output and
hammering revenues.
The groups claim to be seeking a fairer share of
Nigeria’s multi-billion-dollar oil wealth for residents of
the region — as well as greater political autonomy.
Following peace talks in Abuja chaired Tuesday by the
president, junior oil minister Emmanuel Kachikwu said
the country’s oil production was returning to normal.
“The reality is that as of today and this morning, we
are at 2.1 million barrels production. That’s
substantial,” he said, adding that efforts to secure
peace were succeeding.
Nigeria normally produces around 2.2 million barrels
per day (bpd), but output dropped to a low of 1.4 bpd
this year due to rebel attacks.

Will Barak Obama Void the Election in Light of Hillary Clinton’s Scandal?

Up until recently a title like the one above would be seen as merely click bait, but all of can admit that the events of the last few days (i.e. Hillary’s emails) should lead one to consider the possibilities open for Obama to take advantage of.

Remember, Obama has already said that Trump should be disqualified for office. Despite the tightening polls Hillary was looking like she was going to still win. With Friday’s disclosure by Comey Hillary’s future looks bleak. For the first time in American history a President is about to be selected by a default.

With Comey’s reopening, Obama has the ammunition he needs to stop a Trump Presidency, especially if there are enough Americans that “turn out” against Trump’s victory the day after.

How Can He Do This?

The laws surrounding martial law and its enaction are vague. Essentially, the President or Congress has the right to suspend either part of the constitution or all of it during a war or civil unrest.

Martial law on the national level may be declared by Congress or the president. Under Article I, Section 8, Clause 15, of the Constitution, Congress has the power “[t]o provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress insurrections and repel Invasions.” Article II, Section 2, Clause 1, of the Constitution declares that “[t]he President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States.” Neither constitutional provision includes a direct reference to martial law. However, the Supreme Court has interpreted both to allow the declaration of martial law by the president or Congress. On the state level, a governor may declare martial law within her or his own state. The power to do so usually is granted in the state constitution.

After November 8th expect large-scale civil unrest no matter who wins. However, a Trump win after the Comey disclosure would give Obama a trigger for issuing martial law.

Will it happen? In this election season we are finding out that anything is possible.

Globalists Continue to Pressure Israel to Destroy Jewish Houses while Building Homes for Arabs

Israel’s Civil Administration, the section of the army in charge of administering Israeli control over Judea and Samaria authorized new Arab buildings near Jewish Susiya. The government has been under intense pressure to provide building permits for Arabs in Area C, the area of Judea and Samaria under complete Israeli control.

While Arab squatters from Yatta continue to illegally build and set up a fake village on top of the remains of the ancient Jewish village of Susiya, the government in Jerusalem has folded to international pressure and agreed to allow Arabs to build houses nearby.

National Union faction head Uri Ariel was outraged. Yet, the program is part of Defense Minister Lieberman’s new program of reward for “moderate” Arabs while coming down hard on extreme ones.

“The program’s goal is to do good by those prepared to live in co-existence with us, and on the other hand make things harder for those planning terror attacks,” Liberman said, according to Ha’aretz.

However, this reasoning is dubious as the EU has been publicly advocating for new Arab houses in the area for months as well funding the illegal encampment nearby. More than likely, Lieberman’s carrot and stick policy is coverage for his inability to stand up to international pressure.

Obama and EU Forcing Israel to Kick Jews Our of their Homes

Meanwhile, the Jewish community of Amona slated for destruction has sent the government scrambling for solutions to the ruling of the Supreme Court that insisted on leveling the Jewish community. Although the government is trying to find a way to legalize Amona in order to prevent a coalition crisis, chances are slim Bibi Netanyahu will be able to stall long enough to find a solution.

The Obama administration has stepped in and urged the Israeli government to knock down the Jewish homes effectively leaving the inhabitants homeless because as State Department spokesman Mark Toner has insisted that the 98 homes of Amona are an impediment to peace.

The government in Israel seems incapable of preventing an infringement of the Jewish people’s basic sovereignty in its historic homeland. Until it understands than any folding against international pressure gives more power to its enemies, more and more Jewish communities will be in danger.

Keith Olbermann Goes Full McCarthy Against Trump

In a last ditch hope to try to change the narritive away from Hillary’s federal investigation to something completely crazy, leftists like Keith Olbermann have thrown out the “Donald Trump is a Russian Agent” line. Will it work? No way. MacCarthyism never works. Not to mention Olberman’s attack looks desperate, especially in reaction to something far more concrete, a very real FBI investigation on Hillary Clinton.

Watch Keith Olberman’s rant below…if you can stomach it.
